Chapter 53 Worth It

Although the night was getting late but Ratna could not close her eyes as well, she still thought about her agreement with Ian. Actually he was just kidding, he thought Ian would give up if challenged like that but in reality Ian instead agreed.

"Tomorrow night, you'll keep your promise, right?"

"Alright, "answered Ian let her go.

The problem of love is complicated, he can not express his feelings to Amus but he still does not understand why Ian was desperate to lie too.

"I mean, I just want you to look great so Sela admits that my new boyfriend is better than her" she explains.

"Don't make me even more upset, I'm really tired and want to go to sleep" Ratna said.

Ratna did not answer the remark, she just went to her house. Quickly go to sleep so that the feeling of fatigue and sadness is gone, tomorrow morning he also woke up with a better mood.

At exactly seven o'clock in the evening Ratna put the last touch on her appearance by tying her hair, after which she went ahead to meet Ian who was apparently waiting for her.

They arrive at the cafe where in an hour Sela will come along with her new boyfriend, Ian looks restless while occasionally looking at the door.

"You're going to meet your ex, not the president, so stop worrying" Ratna said.

"I'm not worried, I just can't wait to show my new boyfriend to her"

"Hey! remember that this is just pretend"

"I know. "reply Ian.

An hour passed just like that but Sela had not come yet, Ratna who had been waiting while drinking to go to the toilet first left Ian who was hoping for anxiety.

When she thinks Sela will break her promise, the cafe door opens, showing Sela coming with her new boyfriend.

With a hand holding his new girlfriend Sela walked up to Ian, his face was radiant and full of confidence when he saw Ian was alone there.

"Sorry we're a little late, you know for yourself a girl takes longer to dress up" Sela said.

"No problem" Ian replied.

That night Sela looked beautiful as usual, only the romance shown by Sela with her new boyfriend made Ian upset and undo his intention to praise.

"Then....Where's your boyfriend? you didn't forget to take her, did you?" ask Sela.

"He's going to the toilet, he'll be back soon"

"Oh so"

"Ah that's it, baby!" call Ian when you see Ratna who just came back.

Sela and her new boyfriend immediately looked back to see Ratna, the smile that Ratna had prepared to welcome Sela instantly vanished as she looked at the figure of the man standing right beside her.
