Chapter 57 The Soulmate

Although it was quite difficult but Ratna should be able to tell what had just happened to her, with great regret she told Ian of the incident. Of course Ian really understood the guilt that Ratna felt, with understanding Ian said that Ratna did not have to think about it.

Ratna also told Ardi and Jimy, of course they sympathized and treat Ratna to console him. Apparently it was quite successful, Ratna came back carefree after getting food.

No one can help laughing hearing that because in fact Jimy is always spending money, if Jimy is not there then Amus is in charge of treating them.

After making a promise the next day they went to the square after Ratna finished work, still a few meters away to arrive but the smoke from satay was already smelled by them because it was carried away by the wind.

Seeing so many food Ratna eyes immediately sparkled and confused to taste which one used to be.

"Should we buy something sweet first?" ask Ratna.

"Good idea, after that new sweet spicy new scrumptious!" jimy agreed.

Their first choice fell on the mixed ice, each holding one glass and enjoying it. Ratna looks happy even to be the first to run out, impatiently he invites others to try other foods even though his friends have not finished eating.

"Look! have you tried baso bakar?" yelled Ardi while pointing.

"Not yet, want to try?" tawar Ratna's.

"Of course, come on!" yelled Ardi while pulling Ratna's hand.

They seemed to laugh together, leaving Amus stunned for a while just to see something he felt was unusual. They had been together from childhood, therefore Amus was quite able to realize if something was different even if it was a small thing.

"What's wrong?" jimy asks seeing Ratna fixated on something as they order food.

"I feel like I recognize that man" Ratna said, pointing.

Jimy looked at the man he was pointing at and soon realized he recognized the man.

"That's Angga's sister!"

"Where?" ask Ardi curiously.

Ratna pointed out that Ardi and Amus could know.

"Oh right, brother Angga!" yelled Ardi calling.

But his voice was drowned by the noise of the many people, even the seeming Angga was completely unaware of their existence there. Jimy took the initiative to approach her but suddenly a girl appeared near Angga, seen the girl saying something that made Angga laugh and pinch her nose.

"Isn't that Mita?" ratna muttered.

There's no mistaking it, that girl is Mita. They look very friendly with each other laughing and holding hands. Without talking Jimy walked after them, finally the others followed.

"What are they doing here?" ask Ardi.

"Once again, we'll know soon" replied Ratna.

They are seen going through a crowd and stopping at a shop, Jimy and his friends also come to a stop not far from them. Jimy's eyes could not be seen to see what they were doing, nothing strange but all their actions were like a pair of lovebirds.

"Master, are you thinking about what I'm thinking?" ask Ratna.

"Yes" Jimy replied briefly.

"Then come on!" bring Ratna.

Jimy and Ratna walk first in the follow-up with the others, they immediately go to where Angga and Mita are sitting.

"You guys... What are you doing here?" tanya was shocked to see their arrival.

From Mita's expression, she was equally shocked, but not a word came out of her mouth.

"You better answer that question" Jimy replied.

Angga and Mita looked at each other, looking Mita slightly shook her head. They spent a few minutes communicating with gestures until Jimy finally cleared his throat impatiently.

"Ah...how about you guys sit down first" Angga bargained.

"Good idea!" answer Ardi.

Ardi quickly moved to the side of Angga and sat there, followed by another new Amus. For a while they were silent and would not answer.

"So ". said Jimy.

"What do you know?" reply Angga.

"Not yet, we only see your togetherness that is quite intense and questionable" replied Ratna.

"Hhhhhh it seems like there is no other choice" Angga muttered with a sigh.

"We're actually dating"

"What?" ask the four friends together.

Mita could only frown at the shocked expressions of her four friends, in fact she wanted to keep her relationship hidden until she graduated High School. But the rice had already become porridge, whatever reason he gave it was definitely not easy to believe, after all there was no reasonable reason he could make.

"Since when?" ask Jimy.

"That's a few days after the free tutoring I gave you when you were about to take your exams we started getting closer and we were finally dating"

"A very smooth love story" commented Amus who made them look at him.

"But how can it?" ask Jimy who still doesn't believe.

"What can't? the name of any love must be possible" replied Ardi the white rabbit.

"Why didn't you ever tell me about this? aren't we friends?" ratna asked annoyed.

"I'm sorry, I thought it was so embarrassing so I wasn't ready to tell you" Mita replied regretfully.

"What is shameful? you're smart and Angga's smart, aren't you the perfect couple?" ask Ardi.

"Don't you, Jimy and I are first-class mates do you think I still have a face if our relationship is known?"

"Ah... y'all are really good at hiding, I didn't think my sister-in-law would be my own friend" said Jimy.

"You... don't mind, do you?" ask Angga carefully.

"Why do you agree?" ask Ratna wonder.

"Well how else? I can't stand in the way of my brother's love story"

"Then why can't I be your sister-in-law? how is it different from Mita?" ratna asked, getting annoyed.

"Obviously different! kidding me? he's smart and you're stupid! he's nice while you're a double eye! if I had a sister-in-law like you for the rest of my life I would curse myself"

"Master! you started it!" shout Ratna.

Aaaahhh...

Ratna launched an attack with a pinch that stuck all over Jimy's body that he could reach, making Jimy in pain while the others could only shake while laughing.

Mita herself can now breathe a sigh of relief, the worry that had been her nightmare finally disappeared. Jimy and the others were apparently quite understanding and able to accept the relationship well, but if you think again Jimy did have a more mature personality so not selfish.

Instead Angga treat them food, of course Ratna is made happy because her stomach is full without removing a single silver.

Until they are full they try every foreign food they can eat and tired of their feet continue to go around, Angga and Mita say goodbye to go home first.

The four friends also decided to go home because it was late, tomorrow they had to wake up early to live the routine as usual.

Ardi and Jimy went home first because their house is closest to the alley, now only Amus and Ratna are back walking to their respective homes.

"I still do not expect Angga's brother turned out to have a special relationship with Mita, it feels like it is impossible they along with the age that is quite far adrift" said Ratna.

"Sometimes love doesn't make sense, people say it's blind. Maybe that's why despite their age they are far away but with the same feeling they can finally walk together" Amus replied.

"Do you think their relationship will last?"

"Looks so! I found no reason to require them to separate"

"So yes, they are both good and smart people. Right said Ardi, they are the perfect couple" said Ratna.

They stopped stepping right in front of Ratna's house, a sudden silence filling the void that night. Both Amus and Ratna were both dissolved in their minds, thinking about their own love story that would somehow end up like what.

"Isn't this so funny? turns out your soul mate is someone you know, if..... it happened to you how would you?" ask Ratna.

For a moment Amus cried out only to stare at Ratna's face fixedly before she finally replied.

"Well how else? we never know who our soul mate is"

"You're right, see you!" ratna waved her hand.

Amus smiled slightly and was still there with his hands waving until Ratna entered his house.

"If my soul mate is someone I know, I hope it's you" he murmured as he stared at Ratna's deserted home.

The break bell rang, making the students scatter out of the classroom like termites coming out of the nest. Almost all went to the cafeteria because they were hungry or just wanted to relax while snacking, while Ratna herself was still sitting in her chair.

"What are you reading?" tanya Ratna looked at Rere who was focusing on a book.

Enthusiastically Rere showed the book so that Ratna could figure it out, there was a large inscription on the cover of the book that was read 'Romantic Short Story Collection'.

"When have you read anything like this?"

"Yesterday" Rere replied with a smile.

"Hhhhhh, that love story is really interesting. It turns out that we never know who our soul mate, maybe he is the person we have known and exist for us aaahhh...... I would love to feel that sweet love story" she continued with sparkling eyes.

Ratna just stared with a strange expression, she did not expect the quiet Rere would be very enthusiastic when talking about love.

"Talking about it, I remembered my friend at Junior High" he murmured.

"Why?"

"Overnight we caught him walking with Angga's sister, ah. I still didn't expect it to turn out that my friend was dating my best friend's sister"

"really? then what about your best friend?"

"He agreed, he said that heart problems can no longer be done. If they are a match then my best friend and friend will be a brother-in-law"

"Jeez, it's like romance stories" Rere responded.

"What do you mean how?" ratna asked not to understand.

Only in this time you are free to express and do what you like, that includes falling in love because after we graduate our world will be completely different. "Jeez.... Why is my mind so crazy? we're still first class! there are still two years left before graduating from High School, rather than talking about things like that it would be more fun if you spend time having fun with your friends" Ratna said.

Curiously enough Ratna went out of the classroom, from the many people who passed her attention to a male student who was standing right beside the classroom door.

"You looking for me?" ask Ratna.

They went to a quieter place, after only staying alone, suddenly the man offered a bar of chocolate to Ratna and said.

"Maybe you don't know me, but I do. I'm Agus, from grade 1-7 several times we've passed each other but maybe you don't realize it. Every day you go to work in a tavern, actually the street we're walking on is the same and I always walk behind you because my house is pretty close to the tavern."

Ratna just kept silent listening, still in her confusion.

"Ratna... I like you... do you... do you want to be my girlfriend?" abugn.

"What?" asked Ratna who felt wrong hearing.

"I've liked you for a long time, I know it's too sudden. But I'm afraid if I don't say it quickly, then you'll have someone else declare their love for you first, I don't want to lose my chance... do you want to accept my declaration of love?."
