Chapter 59 Moments On New Year's Eve

An hour had passed and although the room was quiet but that did not mean the problem was over, Amus returned to his PS and Ratna sat in the corner while eating a little bit of chips.

The door was still in the lock so they could not get out yet, confused by the state both Amus and Ratna were busy with their own thoughts.

Amus' rumbling stomach voice suddenly broke the silence.

"You hungry?" ratna asked, though she clearly heard the sound of her stomach.

"I skipped dinner" admitted Amus, though with shame.

"Aren't there a lot of snacks? why don't you eat?"

"Because you spent it"

"I didn't spend it! look at this all still there" Ratna replied in a high voice.

Amus moved to face Ratna and took all the food that was on her.

"If I don't take it you'll spend it all, right?"

"Discriminately accuse me, you lousy bastard!" hardik Ratna's.

He was about to hit Amus on the shoulder, but his knee slipped and lost balance.

He fell right on Amus, when he opened his eyes the first thing he saw was Amus' clear eyes. Looks more beautiful and bright from such a close distance, even Amus looks more handsome which makes Ratna can not turn away.

"Ratna." call Amus slowly.

"Yes." he answered.

"Oh, I'm sorry."

Ratna immediately got up and sat down beside Amus.

"The more days it seems like you're getting fatter, my God, you're so heavy" muttered Amus as he tried to get up.

"What say! I'm not that fat"

"Maybe invisible because you're tall enough, imagine if you're short I'm sure you'll look like a ball"

Ratna continued to launch attacks by pounding Amus' shoulder until his heart was satisfied.

"I'm not fat, your boyfriend is fatter than me and ugly!" ratna was full of emotion.

Therefore, on the eve of the new year he intends to express his feelings. Under the clear night sky and the colorful sparkle of fireworks, it was a fitting moment to express feelings.

They say goodbye to the others and immediately go to Ratna's house, Mita is left alone only for a short while while she goes to take a bath.

Laughter of each person makes Mita blush embarrassed while Ratna laughs like the others, the event began with the men preparing charcoal while women prepare spices and places to eat.

A few seconds Ardi spent just staring at the girl he likes, the cute face that always laughs it makes the night more perfect. He looked around and realized that everyone was far away in front of him, in that place there was only himself and Ratna meant that no one would hear their conversation.

"What?" ask Ratna.

"Look! that one's bigger!" ratna shouted while pointing at the sky.

"Let's join again with the others, later we run out of chicken breed" he asked as he stood up and ran to the others.

Ardi was still stunned, his love statement was not heard because he was defeated by the sound of loud fireworks. With lethargy he lowered his head, only realized that even though the moment was good but the time was not right.

He wanted to repeat it again it would not be the same as the first and he felt that night was not a suitable time, indeed, desperately he looked at Ratna who was busy fighting over grilled chicken with Amus.

He could only laugh at the cuteness of Ratna who did not want to lose, as well as Amus. But the longer he watched the more he realized something.

Amus bit the chicken right in front of Ratna's face, who did not expect Ratna to bite him so close their faces. Amus releases the chicken and gives it to Ratna, greedily eating the chicken without caring about the dirty mouth.

Amus couldn't help but laugh at Ratna's face, a laugh that irritated Ratna and beat her relentlessly. After a satisfied laugh he wiped the stain on Ratna's mouth with a tissue, their eyes looked back at each other for a while.

"Happy new year" said Amus quietly which made Ratna smile happily.

"Happy new year to you too" he replied.

They smiled at each other, a different smile than usual. Still holding each other's hands they looked back at the sky and enjoyed the happy end of the year, not realizing there was someone behind who had been watching them.

Ardi, who was digesting what he was witnessing. Unexpectedly the togetherness of the treatment of his two friends had been reflected in his mind, the memory of their behavior that was always fighting.

It turns out that it is their form of expressing their feelings, then when the case of Yuni makes their friendship stretch. Only Amus remained standing beside Ratna, the way he looked at Ratna, the small attention, all of it not only because of friendship but because for Amus Ratna was more than just a friend.
