Earnest's Point of View

I'm off to New York for work this week. Periodically should visit each branch of the office every year, maybe 2 or 3 times a year. And since I was also needed as an Earnest Fashion Global Ambassador, I also had to shoot or shoot for advertisements of every new product.

Looks like my work this week will be fun, not happy to see Jade progress. I could do anything to see him improve so much, even if I had to cancel any trip I wanted. But good, he finally fell asleep. I picked up my flight ticket at 2 a.m. Being late is okay. But I wonder, what might happen in the morning when he wakes up? I would be so happy even if she cried when she didn't find me beside her. I got a call from Denise. It was there Tuesday morning, and it was evening in NY, I just finished work for the day.

I heard a noise, he moved closer to the phone, I could hear his breathing. My heart is not playing happy. That means he's responding.

"Now it's 10pm here. Just finished the job today. Can I sleep with Jade? But if you're like this, how can I calm down, baby? Please, do as usual. Eat 3 times a day. I have to see Jade better and healthier than last weekend. I'd be sad if the volume of your cheeks were reduced. The darling? Are you there? May I get something like yes or any answer, hmmm...?" All I could hear was his breath. It doesn't matter Earnest, the point is he responds.

"alright. Let's rise. Let's start the routine today. Have you taken a shower? A breakfast? And let me rest Jade. Okay well? Now you're the one who closed this call, so I know that you're listening. I love you Jade..." I heard her voice move and the call ended. It means he listened and responded. That's enough for now. I couldn't be happier. I think I need to make 5 days of my work into 3 or 2 days only, if possible. I want to hug him right now, and see his better development.

I made it 3 days. I was so tired from a job that was physically and mentally draining, but my heart was so happy. I don't care if my body is tired.

I took the fastest flight I could get that day. I don't mind the jets I'm gonna get. As soon as I landed at Incheon airport, I headed to the villa. I called Denise to make sure I could keep her company for the rest of the week. I should and hope he will let me do it.

"Tante, I finished my work faster and have now landed in Incheon. Can I visit Jade? I mean, I'll keep her company until the weekend. Can you auntie?" He laughed happily.

It was past midnight when I arrived. I called the nanny a few minutes ago to open all the doors for me. After putting all the luggage on the sofa table, I got closer to the bed. He's sleeping well. Jade is a good girl, she does exactly as I instructed. I took a few minutes to clean my body, take a warm bath, because then I would sleep well, and put on the pajamas I carried in the suitcase. "Jade, for you, I'm struggling to make the 5-day schedule 3, baby. See it? Miss you. I'm so glad you finally responded, even like this, it's enough for now. I want to be with you every second. Hurry back, Jade. Let's get married. So I can take you with me wherever I go..." I rubbed his back gently. He hugged me tighter.
