Good-Natured Men In Highways

After a long period of reflection, I encouraged myself to think as positively as possible. I have no other choice anyway. My only option is to think positively.

I concluded that the man couldn't possibly think narrowly of holding a grudge because of a trivial incident even intending to avenge himself. Aye right? Earnest Lee is a classy man with mature thinking. I repeated all the good definitions of Earnest Lee in my mind.

Slowly, I felt a little peaceful. Yes yes, I am facing a great man who has been successfully in the world of entertainment and business. He must have had the virtues he held in life that had brought him to such a high position. Is it not? Well, so you can feel comfortable Jade. suck your coffee.

I let out a long sigh. I let my breath.

Still can't. Besides I'm still full because of half the sandwhich and hot tea I consumed an hour ago. And judging from any angle, hungry or full, I would not be able to swallow any kind of food. I heard the door open. I stood up and walked towards the door. Noel came in with a suitcase and a handbag. Someone appeared behind him. We met his eyes and he was dumbfounded. Then he waved his hand telling Noel to pass from the room. He walked towards the mini bar, took two bottles of mineral water from the refrigerator, walked back towards me and thrust one bottle towards me. I greet. I really need water.

"Please sit ms.Moon. How, has breakfast?" He said casually as he opened his drinking bottle and sipped the water to half of it.

"I've had breakfast, Mr. Lee, thank you." He sat on the couch and I followed him. I'm sure he can see how nervous I am. Should I apologize first? But what am I wrong? Wrong Jade, the incident on the plane was indeed a bit excessive. No, that's how I deal with strangers. There was nothing wrong. After arguing alone in my heart, I reached a conclusion, I did nothing wrong. I concluded so, to calm the storm that raged in my head. Then Noel came in with another one-serving breakfast menu, just like mine.

"Come ms.Moon. You have to eat, I mean, let's have breakfast together." He invited me in kindly. I looked at him and our eyes met, he made eye movements, gesturing to enjoy the food on the table. Should I just come and eat? But I have no taste at all. But I have to, right? I have to be polite. Keeping the attitude is the main task for the rest of my time there.

He started eating and I went. I chewed on a makeshift sandwich and then stopped. I drained the mineral water he gave me. I doubt. Does leaving food include disrespect?

"Mr.Leeis... I happened to have breakfast before I got here. Sorry, can I stop eating?" Then I realized I was too stupid. Why even for such a trivial thing I have to ask her permission? He smiled, seemingly amused by my attitude. Sure oes. Let alone him. I also felt amused by my attitude. I must look funny. Funny because naive or stupid. But I defended myself. Phone's ringing. He answered the call, installed speaker mode and placed it on the table while continuing to eat.

Earnest stopped chewing his food and looked at me sharply, meaningfully. I don't know what that means. But I responded to his gaze flatly. He put the sandwich in his hand and seemed to think hard about what to say next. But then he laughed, a little made up. I was a bit surprised to see that side of him, a little fake.
