Dark Princess
Black Angel

Black Angel

I read the title.

Some terms are still the same. This black angel is always in every story. To the extent that, I was pretty sure that the black angel he mentioned actually existed. So, this time, he was going to talk about the black angel in more detail. When I get a glimpse of the whole story, everything feels familiar. I can guess easily, this is still about the kingdom. There are just a few different things. He named the king as the demon prince. I sighed, he finally found a proper term to refer to the king. Whoever it is, real or not, he is indeed a demon. If the scene he described in all the stories really happened, then the name of the demon prince was too good, it should be the demon king.

The different plot he was referring to was, because the story was focused on his interaction with the black angel.

This is the strangest thing that's ever happened in my room. I woke up touched. I was shocked. No one can ever touch us. Especially by a black angel, if not for a specific purpose. I looked at her figure. Yes, he is a black angel. Shouldn't he be knocking on the door? I must have heard and woke up. He can't go inside. Just wait outside the door until I come out and we walk towards the banquet hall. I calmed down. Trying to digest the situation that is happening.

"Do you recognize me?" She asked, she looked at me carefully, right into my eyes. It shouldn't be. But he did.

*"You are one of the black angels..." I answered with certainty, mixed in a little doubt, because... Why should he ask? He should know that I know.

"Yes..." He hesitated for a moment.*

"But I'm not the one who used to help you, can't you see the difference?" He brought his face closer to me. Slowly, I want to get angry. That action is disrespectful. None of them could boldly thrust their faces so close to us. It was an act of disrespect. But I know I have to master myself. My track record should be clean until the day I become the chosen princess.

“Have you forgotten who you are? You are the black angel who yesterday, and yesterday and yesterday again.” I answered firmly. And sure that my answer is correct.

All the black angels in that place were the same. All that distinguished them was the staff in their hands. He was silent at my answer, a bit long and shivering, then closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. I was busy thinking, how am I going to report this disrespectful act to the king? The presence of one black angel like him would be a blemish on the image of the kingdom. What if the other black angels thought of doing the same thing? Things will be messed up. They should simply hide their faces behind a hoodie that covers half of their faces. We could only see their deep red lips that were always perfectly curved, that was just a glance.

"Valene, I wasn't always here. I'm not the one yesterday, and the one yesterday again. It's my first time here, you can't recognize me?" Valene's? He seemed to have trouble breathing, water running down his cheeks, out of his eyes. Is he in trouble? Oh... Could be. Butwhy? As a good princess, I should try to calm her down.

“Are you in trouble? Can I help you? And, what is valene? A word? Is that why you're having trouble?” I'm trying to be nice. He looked at me again, carefully. His expression was something new, never before had anyone around the palace ever shown such an expression. That's definitely not a good thing. He's not happy.

I also thought hard. How do you make people happy? Being near the king? Fresh blood? A vitamin? That's what makes me happy. And of course the title as the king's choice daughter. But I couldn't give it all to him. It is they who daily lead us to get that and make me happy. I wonder, if I can't help him at all, will it affect the good track record I've been keeping all this time?

...

I paused for a moment. Valene's? Isn't that the name I heard from Drey? I racked my brain to remember, but I wasn't sure. This is probably what is meant by old disease. It seems like I'm old, I can't even be sure. I called Drey to make sure.

"She's boss..." Immediately answered. Her voice is raucous. He must have slept. But I didn't bother to apologize.*

“Drey, did you mention something like 'Valene' when we checked the file last night?"

“Wait for Boss, I need to remember many things. Wait, ah. yeah. Valene Varon, the little girl on the passenger list on the same ship, on the day Denise Varon arrived in Korea.”.

"Okay Drey. Thank you.”* I hung up and I was shocked. Valene. He even had that name, was it from his memories that he lost? I'm back on the Mac screen.

...

“Valene is a name? There is no such name in this place. We are all called angels in this place. There is no other name. I'm a white angel and you're a black angel. In a moment, I will be called a princess, when that choice falls on me, I am a princess.” I still try to explain politely. Honestly, he was very disrespectful. How dare to give a name. It was the same as him wanting to level his playing field with the king. Only the king has the right to give us a name. He roared but tried to dampen the volume of his voice. Did I do something wrong? I'm a little panicked.

*“Good. Whatever call. Let's leave this place..” Want to not, I was astonished. I could no longer maintain the sweet and calm face I was fighting for from the start. But suddenly I realized. Is it time? Because, all of that is weird. From beginning to end. No knock on the door. And a black angel came in, stepped into my room. Never happened before.

"Is it my turn?" I'm changing my spirit. I wish my guess was right. She clenched her forehead, looked at me carefully, like she didn't understand what I meant. The expression on his face changed quickly.

“Oh, yes right. Your turn has arrived. Come onl. Get ready, and follow me..” It felt like my heart was about to jump out of its nest. True allegations. I was the chosen princess.

“Am I called a princess now? I'm a princess?" I reassured, with a very happy feeling.

"Yes right, you are a princess now. You've been chosen." He convinced me.*
