Chapter 56

A week later, Vane moves from her home and Rey hopes that Vane will not actually claim her divorce, but she receives a letter from the religious court confirming the lawsuit, and he had never felt a heartbreak as deep as when he read the letter.

Vane won't pick up the phone from him and all the communication Vane's had with him was through his lawyer. Rey also had time to contact Dika to ask the whereabouts of Vane, but Dika reasoned even though Vane was his best friend but as a lawyer he had to obey the code of ethics to uphold the secret of his client. Even the 500 million checks he had issued were still unfrozen by Vane, as if he was willing to erase all the connections he had ever had between him and Rey.

After Vane leaves her home, whenever she sleeps, Rey always hugs her wedding photo that Vane left on the night stand in her room when she moved in. He never realized how sacred the wedding ceremony was. It was not only a ceremony that declared that they had become a legitimate married couple, but also stated that they were bound to each other for all eternity.

After he gave instructions to Amel and the assistant chef to continue his cooking, he came out of the kitchen and headed for the VVIP room on the fourth floor. Vane opened the door of the room and was immediately shocked to see the person sitting waiting for him.

Sarah immediately straightened her sitting position when she saw the arrival of Vane. She stared fixedly at her daughter-in-law who had not met for a long time after she decided to move to Solo after her husband's case. Vane did grow up to be a Polar woman, but she was still taught manners by her family, and now she walks over to Sarah and kisses the back of her mother-in-law's hand.

Vane had been lazy to mince words until he gave a gaze so that Sarah immediately spoke to the point. And that made Sarah snort as if she understood the gurgle that Vane showed.

"Your friend, just here to talk about your problem with Rey..."

"Well, I did what I should have done under the contract clause. Mamah take it easy after we officially divorced, I'll be gone from Rey's life" cut Vane trying as quietly as possible, even though he had to take pains to hold back emotions.

Sarah is just staring at the departure of her daughter-in-law, she desperately wants Vane to stay with Rey and continue to accompany her son.

Vane had just parked his car in the yard after he tried as quickly as possible to finish his job in order to get home at seven in the evening. He walked towards his house and was immediately greeted with a special view of Bima and Ana who were alone in the family room.

"You're on your own? Where's amel?"ask Ana.

"Picked up Brother Satria" replied Vane flat.

"Here deh, sit down brother"Bima's request waved to Vane, and his sister immediately approached.

Bima immediately hugged Vane tightly, when her sister was sitting right beside her. Vane felt Bima's embrace felt different, there was a sense of not wanting to be released.

"You're the most powerful and powerful sister. Your dear brother"whispered Bima with a hoarse voice.

"Hhmm..and is it not that my sister is worried about the smell of my body? I work all day and haven't had a shower yet, Brother" said Vane to melt the atmosphere that felt a bit tense.

Glancing at Vane's eyes stared at a gold metallic box she had stored in her closet. Vane smiles at the box, intending to give the box as a memento to Rey when they officially divorce later.

Vane again closed the closet door when he heard the sound of the door opening, and saw Satria bend her head, "Van, let's go down. We had dinner together. Brother boughtin you batagor our subscription loh."

Vane smiled then said, "Gandeng," he reached out and put on a spoiled expression for Satria to take her in. Satria only giggled amusedly but she happily held her sister's hand as if they were lovers. Until finally they both become a material in the dining room.

"Where are you going, sir?"ask Bima with a naughty tone.

"This is what I want to do with my sister" replied Satria.

"Where are you?"keep Ana.

"To the hotel"balas Satria.

"Well?"amel shouted a little.

"You want me to bargain with a Russian oil businessman who knows who can get 10 billion right?"said Satria laughed out loud and was immediately given a punch in the arm by Vane.

"Enak. I know that I'm beautiful, but don't be envious if I have more money than my sister" murmured Vane with bulging eyes but her eyebrows went up and down, so her expression was inviting everyone's laughter.

Tonight the atmosphere of the house feels so warm and pleasant. All the family members spend time together listening to Vane play the piano while singing, after which they will talk to each other. Something Vane really misses for a year. But he also misses and worries about Rey's condition. The man must have felt lonely because there was no other interlocutor.

One week later, Rey found herself in one of the meeting rooms at the Central Jakarta religious court, waiting until Vane showed up. This was the first time he would meet Vane again after their separation and he was nervous.

Now, he saw how dazzling his future ex-wife was, plus the gaze of the young clerk Sugiono who mediated their counseling session today. "Call me Vane" Vane replied as she reached out her hand, greeted Sugiono and nodded her head at Rey before she sat down.

Rey clutches the arm of the chair as Vane lets an unknown male call her by her name alone. And when Sugiono gave Vane a smile, it was torture. It will be the longest hour of his life.

Vane sat quietly listening to Sugiono's explanation. As much as possible she did not stare at Rey, especially seeing the way Rey looked at her a few minutes ago like someone ready to kill her using only her two hands. Vane doesn't want Rey to be able to read his mind that really misses him.

The first week after she moved out of Rey's house, all the media was still focusing on the online prostitution case of one of the celebrities so that no one knew the status of her house with Rey. "My name is Rey, not Rey. You can call my wife by her name, why not me?"rey's growled while looking at Sugiono.

"Reyvano" said Vane in a tone full of warning.

"Oh, so now you want to talk to me? After over a month and for twenty minutes this even refused to stare at me?" Rey looked at Vane sharply as she said so.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Sugiono, I need to excuse myself to the restroom. Where is it?"vane asked and after getting clear instructions from Sugiono, immediately stood up and let out of sight as quickly as possible.

The two men left in the room looked at each other. Rey seems ready to burn down the religious court building, and Sugiono seems to be amused by Rey's emotional play.

"Mba Vane still loves Mas Rey, in case you are wondering" Sugiono said suddenly.

"Huh???"

"Mba Vane.he still loves Mas Rey."

"Oh yeah? How do you know what? Are you psychic?"tanya Rey sounded a little cranky.

Vane looked at Sugiono as if he was ready to kill him, then his gaze turned to Rey. They stared at each other for a few minutes.

Vane was just about to open her mouth to talk when she heard Rey say, "I love you."

Vane's face immediately blanked, "What??"

Unexpectedly Vane, Rey stood up from her chair and then was already sitting on the seat beside Vane.

"If you have any doubts about how I feel about you, I will say it once again. I love you. I didn't say this before not because I didn't love you, but because I waited for the right moment" Rey explained as sincerely as possible.

"I don't want to divorce you. I want you to be my wife, really my wife, without a contract. I want us to be together because we can't live without each other, not because I have to save my career or you have to prove something to your family."

Rey couldn't believe that she was following Sugiono's advice, "You told me that I wouldn't be able to be sincere with people because I didn't know the meaning of the word. What if you teach me what it means? Show me what does that mean? I want to learn from you."

Rey waits with anticipation for Vane's reply, and she is completely unprepared when Vane chooses to get up from her seat and leave the room.

Vane drives the car with a feeling of unease. He had no idea with all the words that Rey had put out an hour ago. He had already tried desperately to rebuild the self-defense fortress, in order for him to be strong if indeed he had to completely part with Rey. Instead, everything broke his heart again because he was given hope again. Vane sees sincerity from Rey's eyes, but she is not sure of herself that she can be together with Rey. Will Rey accept it if she knows what she's done to her papa.

Vane immediately pulled over his car when he heard a ring from his HP. After successfully pulling the car over, Vane immediately took HP from the bag.

At full speed Vane drives his car as fast as possible to get to the office as soon as possible.
