Chapter 38

When Vane opened his eyes, he knew that he had slept longer than he had planned. The sun was already high enough and its rays entered through the window. He glanced at the clock at his bedside and jumped straight from the bed into the bathroom.

Half an hour later, Vane was out of the room and feeling refreshed. She was walking as fast as she could to the stairs, when she saw Rey had just come out of her room looking like she had just finished a shower because her hair was still wet.

Rey who realized that Vane was walking towards him looked surprised and then his face reddened and he looked ready to move right then and there from in front of Vane. But it seemed like he wouldn't have done that if he didn't want to look super-soled, he ended up choosing silence.

Maybe if you see Rey's jutek face, Vane will comment on it but not with today, "Hello Rey. Bye Rey," said Vane quickly and without waiting for a reply from Rey.

He immediately rushed up to the stairs and passed Mbok Nami who was on his way to the top floor and said, "Morning, Mbok."

Vane didn't even wait until the engine was hot and now he's rushing straight out of the garage to the gate. He needs to talk to someone about last night, and the only person he can talk to is Bobi.

"So...How's rey?"ask Bobi while putting canned soda on the table.

Now Vane is in Bobi's muay thai studio, and they're talking inside Bobi's office.

"Bob, you know, I can't drink fizzy drinks" said Vane.

"God I forgot. Sorry sorry" reply Bobi patted his eel and replaced the canned soda drink with cold orange juice in a bottle.

"Lo is weird, living for centuries abroad, but let alone drinking vodka or wine, drinking soft drinks you can't" Bobi said as he sipped his drink.

"Gue is a innocent girl without sin" said Vane proudly.

Bobi immediately choked to hear Vane's answer which made him cough until the soda content in the drink it was like it had pierced his nose and throat.

"Shit!! Fuck you, Van!!"sarkas Bobi rubbed his nose.

Vane just laughed amusedly at the disaster that befell his best friend that one.

"Instant karma" said Vane burst into laughter.

"His armpit? Now your purpose here is to do what? Muay thai training is not possible. Lo so jaganya fight can matahin feet my friends whose body even 10 times than lo" reply Bobi.

"Gue was confused as to where to tell" Vane said, raising his shoulder.

Vane's words make Bobi wonder, because humans like Vane is a type of human who will never be confused while talking, because Vane is expert in synchronizing the brain with the mouth. Before he started speaking, his brain had already arranged a series of words that would be launched through his mouth.

"OK on gini..." Bobi tries to melt the atmosphere by giving Vane a packet of eggs that are currently hits.

Vane shook his head, he swallowed the beans he had chewed, "On the lips with the kind of kiss that made me unable to stand again after a minute. I've never been kissed like that.well."

Vane's words made Bobi speechless even he who wanted to drink his drink had to stop it.

"WHAATT??? Never kissed anyone? You mean, during your courtship with your ex-lo who's bule with his level of handsome that's not kelulungan, you've never kissed them at all on the lips, Van?"bobi asked with glaring eyes in disbelief that Vane was still holy, clean, and spotless.

Vane finally nodded and inevitably had to admit it, "Either, between me who are selling expensive or those who are afraid of me in case they kiss me immediately I bump their faces."

Bobi laughed out loud, whether the laughter he let out was laughing because it was funny or laughing the kind of insults at Vane's very honest confession.

"Yes" said Vane and when he saw Bobi's expression he hurriedly said, "I mean no..."

Surely Bobi did not believe the words and Vane did not blame him. "I honestly don't know, Bob."

Bobi leaned his body against the back of the sofa, "Well it's not fair. How Ms. Sarah can tell you to keep Rey's heart after what her husband did to Rey. Why is he even using lo as a shield"omel Bobi.

Bobi's words make Vane aware of what he has to do. He has to make Rey and her papa talk openly about what they feel for each other. Maybe that way they can finally throw away whatever it is that makes the relationship of father and son is not awkward anymore. And one more thing, Vane could slowly approach his father-in-law.

Before Bobi could say anything more, Vane hurriedly stood up and bailed to go home and leave Bobi alone inside his office.

"Van, I swear by heaven and earth that you're going to give your heart to that man named Reyvano Millford" cried Bobi when Vane just disappeared from his room.
