Chapter 36

The white studio building is located in the backyard, but despite being separated from the main building there is a small con-block street. Vane had seen this building from the outside during her wedding reception the other day. They walked towards the studio surrounded by a slightly damp night air.

Their street lighting is provided by several garden lights that decorate the back garden. Vane could hear the sounds of crickets and all sorts of night animals. It was only after a few minutes that he realized that this was the first time in a year that he could clearly hear the sound produced by nature again. Rey's house was a bit far from the highway so the silence of the night could be felt.

Rey opened the studio's glass door by entering the code on the alarm system. Vane smiled looking at him, so he remembered that whenever he would use a gun he would open the weapon storage room with the code on the alarm system as well.

Before long, they were already inside the predominantly gray studio with a masculine scent. There is a large glass that separates the control room with the live room. Rey opens the door to the live room and invites Vane to enter it first.

Vane looked around and saw various types of musical instruments, ranging from piano, bass, guitar, and drum sets neatly arranged in his cassing. Not to mention the dangling of colorful wires that ran everywhere made him have to walk extra days carefully.

"In this movie there are only two songs. The first one is titled 'Submerged' with the main musical instrument is the piano. And the second is titled "This Is Falling in Love' with a more complete musical instrument" explained Rey.

"Which song are you going to show me?"ask Vane.

"The song is titled 'Submerged'. If you don't mind, I'll play this song acoustically."

Without Vane realizing it, Rey has taken a position behind the piano and Vane is in the fog looking for a seat. Finally he chose to sit in a high chair that was a bit far apart but facing the piano.

"I started ya."

Vane is an enthusiastic bully and Rey has just played the intro before Vane knows that she and the rest of Indonesia will fall in love with the song.

Yes, the feeling is different from the movie title Rey which tells of a man who loves his best friend in silence. No, this song feels more like someone who harbors a sense of disappointment towards something he has but he can't touch it.

Vane knows, Rey wrote this song for sure by thinking about all the flavors she kept to herself. The love, sadness, longing, anger, and disappointment that exist in his life. The only explanation for Vane's current reaction was how happy he was to be able to watch a special concert, where he could hear the song sung by the original singer who was only two meters away from him.

Vane was moved that she could even feel what Rey felt when she wrote this song. In fact, maybe Rey forgot this song should tell about 'Love in Silence' not someone who harbors a sense of disappointment. Hurriedly Vane stood up from the chair and turned her back to Rey to wipe away her tears.

"Vane, are you okay?"ask Rey after she finishes the song.

After believing that she can control her emotions, Vane turns her body around and answers Rey's questions.

"Yes, I'm good" he said with a smile.

But Rey wasn't fooled by that smile. "You crying?"

"No"disputing.

"Vane, what's wrong with you?" Rey looked worried, but she did not dare to come closer.

Vane tried to swallow her cry and explain how she felt, but she could not. His emotions were overflowing, his heart was about to pierce through his ribs, and his neck hurt from trying to hold back the tears. Suddenly Rey has already hugged her and Vane doesn't even have enough energy to fight her feelings anymore. She was really crying. Crying in Rey's arms, even the man was not just hugging, he had gently stroked Vane's back.

Rey never understood what was on a woman's mind, let alone the motivation that drove them to do something. Rey glanced at her watch and she knew that she had to make Vane stop crying because soon her band crew would arrive.

He is better off eating rye with ten-seed cayenne pepper, than being caught hugging a crying woman, especially if she is his wife, because later they will think that he is the reason why his wife is crying.

"Vane, tell me, is something wrong?"pinta Rey was as smooth as possible when Vane's cries subsided, but Vane remained silent a thousand languages.

Don't burden your heart again with all that's gone by." Vane placed his palm over Rey's heart as he said that.

HOLLY THE MOTHER OF GOD! He really knows the meaning of the song. Rey doesn't know if she should be angry because she has shown her weakness or feel happy because the first time there are people who really understand her other than, mamah.

True, said Vane, the hidden message of this song is a disappointment because we can not touch something that belongs to us. Not the sadness of holding love alone.

As if that word wasn't enough, Vane continued, "Well, you love Rey more than anything. He doesn't expect you to love him as deeply as he loves you, but he hopes you will at least forgive his mistakes."

Rey felt that she was under the microscope under Vane's gaze, she couldn't hide anything from him, and it scared her to death. Once again he tried to pull his hand, but Vane tightened his grip. And lose control of Rey.

Rey forcibly withdrew her hand and raised Vane's head with both hands. Before Vane realizes what happened, Rey kissed him. Really kissed her deep and her tongue was rampant, slipping into Vane's oral cavity.

Rey wants to teach a lesson to Vane who has dared to interfere in his personal affairs that have nothing to do with him. Makes Vane scared and that way he will forget about his problems with his papa.

It seemed like his plan was quite successful because he could feel Vane trying to pull away and he would not let her run away just like that. As Vane takes a step back, Rey follows in his footsteps so that Vane's body is squeezed between her body and the piano.

Rey's two hands release Vane's face and begin to explore his wife's body. Vane finally understands what Rey wants from him, so she tiptoes and then puts her hands around Rey's neck and kisses her back in a slow motion that makes her want to do things she shouldn't have done with her.
