It didn't take long for Alex to reach Disciple Hall. He looked at the leaderboard in front of the hall and realized, his ranking had dropped.
'I left for 3 days, and my rank has already dropped by 200 ranks?' he thinks. He walked back to Alchemy Achievement and realized that he was also on the same side.
He laughed and didn't think too much about it. He had returned now, and with the amount of items he had regained, he could easily regain those ranks and more.
He went to the disciple hall and told them about his return. After which, he walked towards the sect market. It was around 4pm and the valley of the sect was at the peak of the crowd.
He walked to the sect market and headed straight for the elder's stall. He had to wait a while before his time came.
The elder looked at him, and asked, "Are you here to buy or sell?"
"Both," replied Alex briefly. He then reached into his robe and took out 2 storage bags. He checked his storage bag once more and handed it to the older one.
The elder was shocked when someone actually took the initiative to give him their own storage bag. He then turned his attention to the storage bag.
The old man's eyes began to widen. The more he looked, the wider it became. He flicked his head as he looked at Alex.
'The 3rd Nature of Bone Forging. So how is the corpse here so strong?’ he wonders.
"Are you selling this to replace someone else?" She asked.
"No, that's for me." Alex just answered.
"Young man, if this belongs to someone else, and you steal it, you must confess. Lying won't take you anywhere." The elder became more vocal about it.
Alex didn't know what else to say, so he insisted that it was his. "That's mine, and I'm older myself. I didn't steal it from anyone." She said.
The old man began to feel annoyed. “What do you mean you killed this organ's grumpy nature bird monster?” he asked while mentioning one of the monsters inside the bag.
"No, I didn't do it. Someone else did it. But they gave me the monster's corpse, so it's mine." She said.
The elder finally felt he had gotten the truth from himself. "Look, this isn't yours. Tell the core disciples who killed these monsters to come and sell these monsters themselves."
The elder believed that only core disciples were strong enough to kill all these monsters. He returned the bag to Alex.
Alex doesn't like to show off his teacher's name, nor does he have anything to prove that he is his student. So, he simply took out the corpse of the powerful monster and handed the bag back to the elder.
The elder frowned as he looked at the bag once more. This time, only the 3rd bone hardened and fewer monster corpses were there.
"You mean you killed this?" the older man asked.
Alex just nodded. There was no way the elder could prove this claim wrong, so he started calculating his points. The bag contained only corpses and not cores or materials. Alex has learned that both are very useful for pill making.
After a while, the elder spoke, "52 points for a skin forging realm monster, 360 points for a muscle forging realm monster, 220 points for a Bony— forging realm monster for a total of 632 points."
Alex hands over his signboard and earns his points. To buy, he bought some less materials to make [Spirit Enhancing Pill].
After obtaining the materials, he walked towards the library. He was only here to return the Smiting Blade book. As soon as he did, he left. He wanted to obtain some new pill recipes but at the moment it was useless.
'I will wait until tomorrow when I meet the master.' He thinks. Since he still had some free time before having to log out for dinner, he decided to visit the Training Hall.
'I wonder how powerful a True Mortal-class sword is, ' he is really curious about its new strength. He placed his signboard on a wooden pole inside the training room, and the wooden puppet jumped up.
He took out the steel sword and held it in his hand. Even without doing anything, he could feel a sense of connectedness with it as it began to passively suck up its Qi until it shone a little.
Although the amount of Qi he sucked in was not much, it was definitely enough to increase his strength.
Previously, without using techniques, the steel sword produced damage exactly 1 level lower than its cultivation. Now that he had fixed it, he was looking forward to the new damage.
He held his sword in an attacking position and jumped forwards. As soon as he reached the puppet, he immediately swung the sword at the wooden puppet.
BAM
He knew the damage was much higher than he could do with his own fists. He turned to look at the information in the post.
2 nature is higher. That was how good a refined True Mortal class sword was. If just using this sword without any technique had already produced such a large amount of damage, then how much more damage could be given by the use of a technique.
This thought started to excite Alex.
