After learning the various rules and information in the rule talisman, he put it back into his inventory. He then took out the final talisman in his inventory.
The first thing he taught was how alchemy was done. It delves into the action behind alchemy rather than what he finds on the Internet.
Basically, Alchemy was about the synergy between the various ingredients that were slowly being converted into pills within the cauldron. The better the alignment between the various synergies of ingredients, the better the quality of the pills.
He also found out why he did not see any value on the pills he had obtained.
“So I was right, no value, but only unofficial value.” He thinks.
The efficiency of a pill is based on how well it aligns within the pill. Pills whose alignment between ingredients is below 10% are called failed.
At 10% harmony, a pill would be considered a mortal level pill. They can hardly be a pill and are considered the worst of the worst. An alchemist who could only concoct a Mortal level pill was called a Mortal Alchemist.
At 25% harmony, a pill would rise to the level of the earth. Once you start making Earth level pills on a regular basis, you are called an Earth Alchemist. You were considered a good alchemist after you became an Earth Alchemist.
At 50% harmony, a pill would rise to the level of heaven. Any alchemist who even made 10 heaven-level pills was considered a Heavenly Alchemist. Heavenly Alchemists were respected by everyone and were extremely hard to come by.
At 75% harmony, a pill would be considered an Immortal-level pill. But it's just a myth. It was almost impossible to form an Immortal-grade pill, so Immortal Alchemists did not exist either.
There are also other pill classifications. This classification is based on which region of the farmer can use the pill.
The various types of pills were ordinary pills, True pills, and holy pills. Only irritable natural cultivators could use ordinary pills. Similarly, only True realm users can use a True Pill, and Saint realm users can use a Saint pill.
He had not learned about pills for other realms. One must be in that realm or have passed through it to form the pill.
A true realm alchemist could make True Pills, and they could also make Ordinary Pills, but they could not make Saint Pills. In order to form a pill, one would need to put Qi into its ingredients to create harmony between the two, and without that Qi, one would be impossible to concoct a pill for the field.
There was some other information on the talisman, such as different names and images for different alchemy materials. But Alex doesn't need that.
After he finished learning everything he could from the talisman, he returned it. He took out the last item in the inventory. Metal token.
"It looks like I should go and pick up a book from the library, huh. It's free anyway. Too bad I can only take earth class books."
'This must be a robe worn by an outer disciple.' He thinks in his heart. He wondered if the other people wearing different green were inner disciples and core disciples.
He didn't ask. He took out a map once again from his inventory and checked the direction to the valley.
Although most of the road is only a dirt road, but the road is very smooth. And since most of his slopes were downhill, he had no trouble reaching the valley of the sect without losing a single breath.
There was a special scent in the air that he could not feel. It was a strange mixture of flowers and a medicinal aroma.
"Is this of all alchemy that he-woah does"
He was shocked to see how many people there were in the valley of the sect. It was almost like a festival was taking place in the valley. There were hundreds of green-robed disciples strolling through the valley.
There are dozens of large buildings, some of which stretch wider than its large University. He was really surprised to see the valley of the sect.
“If the valley alone is this big, then how big is the whole sect?” he wonders.
He looked at the map again and found a direction towards the library. After a short walk among the crowd, he quickly reached the library.
The library was a huge tower that towered at least 10 floors. The library had a circular design and was also very spacious.
He walked to the tower but was quickly stopped by the elder in charge of the library. The elder was wearing a dark green robe with a silver lining. He was short and bald but had a long white beard that was scattered.
"Give me your sign before you enter." She asked. Alex surprised. 'What is a nameplate?' he wonders.
"Good day, Elders. I am a new disciple who just entered the sect today. I don't know what this nameplate is. I wasn't given anything like that." He answered honestly the older one.
"Hmm... You just entered today, but you have come to the library? Go, Son. Take your signboard from the Disciple hall first before doing anything else in the sect." Said the elder in an indifferent manner.
"Thank you for the information, Elder," Alex thanked the elder and walked away. Soon more disciples arrived at the library, and the elder went back to doing his work.
Alex opened his map once more and looked for the Hall of Disciples there. As soon as he found it, he went there as fast as he could.
