Alex walked to another large building in the valley. This is the Disciple hall.
When he reached the Hall of Disciples, once again, he was shocked by its scope. This building only has 3 floors but takes up a very large area.
He walked towards the building but stopped. In front of the building was a large black stone beam with a height and width of at least 10 meters, and 2 meters thick.
He looked at the front side of the block, and there were many small engravings on it. It looks like it's a list of names. At the top, with uppercase letters, it says 'Contribution Rank'.
Below is a list of names. In the first rank there was a person named Wan Li, in the second rank there was a person named Zhou Mei, in the third rank there was a person named Fan Ruogang, and so on.
There were most likely over thousands of names on that black stone block.
“Hmm... does Contribution Rating mean this is a ranking based on how many contribution points a student gets?” he wonders.
He was really surprised to see the ranking of the students in the sect. But that's not what surprised him the most. The most surprising thing in this ranking is the constant updates.
The huge black stone seemed to have magical properties as the rank on the stone continued to change, even the carvings changed magically.
“I wonder how they make stones change shape constantly like that.” The game was amazing, he thought.
After looking at the ranking list for a while, he walked to the gate of the disciple hall behind him. There were dozens of people who had walked out into the disciple hall.
He didn't know what to do here, so he walked up to an elder and asked, "Good day, Elder. I am new to this sect and need a nameplate. Will you show me the way?"
The older one was a woman in her 40s. He was wearing the same green robe with the silver lining as the other elders did. He seemed to be on his way out of the disciple hall when Alex met him.
“Murid new?” he looked at Alex from top to bottom for a moment and said, "stand in that line and tell the student working in that room that you need him." He said and walked out.
“Thank you, Elder.” He said even when he left and the distance was already quite far.
He went to stand in one of the rows. He saw several dark green-robed disciples walking up and down the stairs, but not a single light green-robed disciple like him had gone there.
"The upper floor is definitely for inner sect disciples and core disciples." He assumed.
Shortly after, it was his turn to enter. He walked in and saw a small room with only one table. Behind the table was a disciple with an attractive-looking medallion in his hand.
However, when Alex realized that the green color in her robe was darker than hers, she was shocked.
'An inner sect disciple?' he didn't think an inner sect disciple would do what he usually thought was the work of an elder.
"Your name's board." The student said in an annoyed voice. He was upset that Alex was just standing there doing nothing.
"Hmm... new student? Why are you coming late? Most had already come in the morning, and picked up their signboard." The student began to ask.
Alex smiled shyly. He could not say that he had to log out because he had to go to his original school, not this school.
“No problem.” Said the disciple while taking out a rectangular metal plate with an attractive design on it. The disciple held his medallion with his left hand, and the metal plate with his right hand, and asked, asking,
"What's your name?"
"Ale— Yu Ming" Alex almost mentioned his real name out loud. Thank goodness the student didn't catch him.
Yu Ming.alright. He brought the metal plate to his forehead and kept it there for a while. After a while, he lowered the metal plate and handed it to Alex.
"Look if something's wrong." The student asked.
Alex tries to do what his student does, and tries to bring the metal plate closer to his forehead. But, before he could do that, a panel appeared in front of him.
[Secte Hong Wu, Outer Sect Disciple 'Yu Ming'. Contributions: 0]
He looked at the information for a few seconds. 'Hmm. so I don't have any contribution points at the moment huh. Makes sense.' He then closed the panel and looked towards the inner sect disciple while saying,
"Yes. Everything's fine. The information inside is accurate."
"All right." The student said as he carried his hand to a nearby drawer that contained many storage bags. He casually placed his hand on one of the objects and took out 3.
He handed the three things over to Alex. Alex took the stuff and looked at it curiously. He focused on the pink pill, and a simple information panel appeared.
[Small Healing Pill: 16%
Heals minor wounds in seconds.]
'Oh! It was a healing pill. 16% harmony so, it was a mortal level pill huh.' Alex thought while looking at the pill. He then focused on the white pill. Similar to the pink pill, a panel appeared.
[Qi Enhancement Pill: 19%
Increases cultivation speed by 19% for 12 hours]
'Hmm...1 cultivation speed increase by 19%? Does that mean I gain 24 Qi every minute instead of 20 Qi now?' he wonders.
Next, he looked at the white stone in his hand.
