Chapter 12: Alchemy Achievements

The white stone was about 3cm by 2cm by 1cm. It was a rectangular piece of stone that was extremely translucent. Although the entire stone is white, if seen more closely, inside there is a turbid texture.

Alex has never seen anything like it before. 'It can't be a pill either, right?' he thinks. He focused on the stone for a while before a panel appeared. The panel contains only three words.

[Ordinary Spirit Stones]

'Ordinary Spirit Stones? What're those?' he's getting confused now. He wanted to get back to the game immediately, so he only learned what he thought was necessary for him, and did not care about the nitty-gritty things.

"What's this?" he asked while taking out an ordinary spirit stone.

“It is spirit stone.” Said the inner sect disciple nonstop.

“What is spirit stone.” Alex kept asking.

"What's? Have you never seen spirit stones?" the disciple asked with a wondering expression on his face.

"No. It's the first time I've heard it, let alone seen it." Alex answered honestly.

"Oh. This was an ordinary spirit stone. The inside is full of Qi that you can absorb while cultivating to increase your cultivation. Alternatively, you can also choose to use it as currency since most cultivators only exchange items in the form of money." spirit stones." The student smiled as he answered this. It seemed like this was the first time he had met a cultivator who did not know what spirit stones were.

"Go now. You take the line. You can return exactly a month from now to obtain the [Little Healing Pill], the [Qi Enhancing Pill] and spirit stones." The inner sect disciple ignored Alex and started calling the next person forward.

Alex quietly put 3 items into his inventory. He thanked his student and walked out of the room.

Now that he had a nameplate, he could pick up books from the library. So, he's headed for the library.

He had just walked out of the Hall of Disciples when he realized something. It was a huge black stone that kept the rank of all the disciples in the sect.

Even behind him was a list of all the students in the rankings, which kept changing every second. The stone is still magical as usual.

But there is something different about this level. First, his rank no longer mentioned 'Contribution Points' but rather 'Alchemy Achievements'.

Alex quickly went to his front side to check if his ranking was still there, and it was true. It seemed that the stone showed two different ranks, and he missed the back of it because he was in too much of a hurry to go to the disciple hall.

He went back to check the names on the back. Wan Li was still at the first rank, Zhou Mei was still at the second rank, but Fan Ruogang was not at the third rank but the fourth rank.

The third place was occupied by a person named Song Zun. Song Zun's name was not found in the top 20 names of the contribution points list.

“It looks like I will learn it later,” thought and decided to go to the library. Just as he was about to leave, a name caught his attention.

Yu Ming's.

After a while, he left. He walked back to the library where the elder picked up a different disciple nameplate while returning another one.

He walked towards the older one with the sign in his hand.

"Name board," said the old man in a daze. Alex handed her new signboard to him.

The elder instinctively took the signboard and brought it to his head, and frowned. He gasped in his absence and looked at Alex.

"Hey son. Why don't you have a single contribution point?" She asked.

“Elder, I am new in this sect. I joined today, so I haven't done anything to earn contribution points.” Alex said nervously. Is this guy going to give it back? He's worried.

"If you don't have contribution points, then you can't go in, son. Everything here requires contribution points to borrow. The better the book, the more expensive it will be. Even the cheapest ones cost at least 100 points."

"So go to the contribution room and take some missions. Get some points, then come back. Doing anything else will just be a waste of your time." The man said as he handed back his signboard to Alex.

Alex didn't take back his signboard immediately. Instead, he began to say,

"Elder, I may not have any contribution points at the moment. However ..." he opened his inventory and took out a metal token, "I have this. I was told that I could choose any Earth-level book or lower for free from the Library."

Hmm.the blister squinted. “Token silver library?” the older one was surprised. He did not even look at the bronze token normally, but thought the silver token was here.

"How did you get this kid?" he asked Alex.

“Older Lang gave this to me this morning.” He answered honestly.

“A outer sect disciple gets a silver library token huh. In that case, you must have done the entrance exam very well.” He then handed back his nameplate and silver sign and said,

"All right, you can come in. Since you are an outer sect disciple, you can go anywhere up to the 5th floor. Choose any book you want there. As long as the book is earth class or lower, you can borrow it for a week for free."
