On Monday morning on the 12th of Rabiul Awwal in the same year as the Abraha raid (the elephant year), Aminah gave birth to a very handsome baby boy. It coincided with August of 570. (Some opinions say that Aminah gave birth on April 20 or 21, 571 AD).
Aminah sent someone saying, "Go to Abdul Muttalib and say, 'Surely a baby has been born for you. Therefore, come and see '."
Abdul Muttalib rushed over. When he took the baby from Aminah's arms, his chest rumbled with affection.
"Your presence reminds me of your father. Truly, in my heart you are now present as Abdullah's successor."
Grateful, the old man held his grandson in his arms, surrounding the Kaaba. This time not to idols, but to God. Abdul Muttalib prayed and was grateful.
"I gave you the name Muhammad" said Abdul Muttalib.
*Muhammad* means *test*, a name not common among the Arab community, but well known.
Later, he ordered people to slaughter camels and invite the people of Quraysh to eat.
"Who is the name of Abdullah's son, your grandson?" ask someone to Abdul Muttalib.
"Muhammad."
"Why don't you name our ancestors?"
"I want him to be a man of praise, to God in the heavens and to His creatures on earth" Abdul-Muttalib replied.

At that time among the Arab nobility had a good tradition, namely they were looking for village women who could breastfeed their children.
Children are put in in the interior to avoid disease, have a strong body and to be able to learn pure Arabic in rural areas.
Not long after to Mecca came a group of women from the tribe of the children of Sa'ad looking for a baby to breastfeed. Among them was a mother named Halimah bint Abu Dzu'aib.
"My husband," Call Halimah "this year is really a dry year there is not a single crop left in our hometown. See our old camels no longer produce milk so the children cry at night because they are hungry."
"May we have the baby of a rich nobleman who can give us a decent wage to overcome this misery" the husband replied.
But their hope was not granted, almost all the babies of the wealthy nobles had been taken by their company friends. There was only one baby in her mother's arms that they met.
"His name is Muhammad" Aminah told the couple "he was an orphan living for me and his grandfather who cared for him." Halima and her husband, Al-Harith ibn Abdul Uzza, looked at each other.
They are reluctant to accept orphans because no father can give them a decent wage. The couple shook their heads and went to look for another baby, Aminah looked at the baby in her arms softly. Every woman of Bani Saad who had an offer to breastfeed Muhammad, always refused because of orphans.
*Tsuwaibah*
Before the arrival of the women of Bani sa'ad, Muhammad breastfed Tsuwaibah the slave girl Abu Lahab.
Only a few days Muhammad was breastfed by Tsuwaibah.
However, later on, throughout his life Muhammad always treated Tsuwaibah well.
