ACTS OF APOSTLE
chapter 7

*Abrahah's Destruction*

It is God who protects his holy house. As Abraha's army moved closer, Abraha's elephant stopped. No matter how hard Abraha beat him, the elephant sat still, even trying to walk again towards Yemen.

"Forward! Onward! What the hell happened to you?" abraha snapped at his mount.

"In the various battlefields, you've never let me down like this! You even look scared! What's the matter exactly?"

"Open! Some are coming from the sea!" shouted a soldier while pointing in panic.

It was then, from the direction of the sea, that God sent a flock of birds flapping their wings over the sun like a fast-moving cloud. The birds dropped flaming stones on the elephant troops. In panic everyone tried to save themselves, but in vain. Everyone, including Abraha, is dead.

This event Allah captured in *letter Al Fil* :

أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ

Have you not noticed how your Lord has acted against the soldiers in the army?

Surah Al - Fil (105:1)

Has He not made their deceit (to destroy the Kaaba) in vain?

Surah Al - Fil (105:2)

and He sent them birds in droves,

Surah Al - Fil (105:3)

who pelted them with stones (originated) from the burning ground,

Surah Al - Fil (105:4)

then He made them like edible leaves (pullets).

Surah Al - Fil (105:5)

*Disease Plague*

Abraha made it back to Yemen, but not long after that he died like his troops.

*Back to Mecca*

Abdullah bin Abdul Muttalib was not slaughtered because his father had redeemed 100 camels.

Abdullah was a handsome young man. Her bravery attracted the attention of many Meccan girls. Moreover, after they knew that Abdullah's life had been redeemed by 100 camels, an incredible amount that no one had ever experienced before. Although many girls tried to tease him, Abdullah's courtesy remained awake.

*Women Who Win*

After Abdullah's redemption, Abdul Muttalib took his son's hand to the house of Wahb bin Abdul Manaf. Wahb had a daughter named Aminah. Abdul-Muttalib agreed with Wahb to marry off their sons.

However, in the middle of the road, a beautiful girl rebuked Abdullah, "Where are you going, O Abdullah?"

"I'll go with my father."

Not caring about Abdul-Muttalib, the girl said, "Look you were led by your father, like a camel to be slaughtered. For your sake, I will accept you if you want to marry me right now."

Abdullah flabbergasted. He looked at the girl nervously.

"Who is this girl? Thought Abdullah, "seen from her clothes that were filled with expensive jewelry, she must be a noble girl. His black eyes emitted a shady radiance just like the usual meek and affectionate belligerent girls had. What am I supposed to tell him?"

When Abdullah turned to his father, he saw Abdul-Muttalib gesturing for Abdullah to continue and not to bully the girl .

"I'm with my dad." I could not refuse his will and parted with him.

Abdullah walked with his father. His heart was filled with pity and sympathy for the girl he left behind.

That same day, Abdul Muttalib came to the house of Wahb bin Abdul Manaf. They agreed to match Abdullah to Aminah.

The next day, Abdullah met the girl again yesterday. Abdullah greeted him, "Why don't you greet me like yesterday?"

The girl replied with a sniffle,

"The radiant light I saw yesterday on your face is no more. Therefore, now I no longer need you!"

*Tinar Kenabian*

The radiant light that the girl saw on Abdullah's face according to some historians is a prophetic ray that Abdullah will pass down to his son.

When Abdullah was betrothed to Aminah, the girl could no longer hope to have a son who would become a prophet.
