ACTS OF APOSTLE

ACTS OF APOSTLE
chapter 37

*Thohaa Letter*

However, Umar could not fight his affection for his sister. His anger went out like a raining fire. He sat down, silent in regret. He stared at his sister's face deeply, regretted the wound from his slap earlier.

"Give me the pages you read so that I may know what Muhammad brought" Umar asked.

"We are afraid that you will take away the sheets."

"Not to be afraid, show it. I swear I'll give it back."

At that time, there was hope in the heart of Fatimah so that her brother embraced Islam.

"You are idolaters, therefore you are filthy. Verily, this sheet shall not be touched except the holy one."

Without saying any more, Umar stood up and took a shower. After that he returned and read the sheets containing the letter of Thohaa.

طه

Thaa.

We have not sent down this Qur'an unto you that you may be hard;

but as a warning to those who are afraid (to Allah),

it was sent down from God who created the earth and the high heavens.

(That is) the Most Merciful Lord. Who dwells above Arsy.

To Him belongs all that is in the heavens, all that is on the earth, all that is between them and all that is underground.

And if you harden your words, then surely He knows the secret and the more hidden.

Umar continued to read most of the pages, then stopped. Hands drooping. Sayu's eyes.

The leaves were returned to Fatimah's hands. With wonder and hope, Fatimah looked at her brother's face.

Then he heard Umar sigh. "Good and great step these words."

It was as if a bright sun had suddenly appeared from behind the clouds. Khattab bin Al Arat immediately came out of hiding.

"O Umar!" he exclaimed, "I really hope that God will privilege you. Yesterday I heard the Prophet pray, "O Allah! strengthen Islam from two Umar, Abu Jahl bin 'Amr bin Hisham or Umar bin Khattab!"

Hearing that, Umar immediately got up and rushed towards Darul Arqam. However, his hand was still wielding a sword and his face was like a desert lion ready to fight.

*Keislaman Umar bin Khattab*

The door of Darul Arqam was knocked on by Umar. Before opening the door, a friend peeked out and was startled, as if he had just had a nightmare.

"The knocker of the door is Umar bin Khattab!" his his hisses panicked to the Messenger of Allah and the people inside, "He came with a drawn sword!"

Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib stood up and said calmly. "Let him in. If he comes with good intentions, we welcome him well. However, if he comes with malicious intent, let's just kill him with his sword"

After saying so, Hamzah's hand moved to grip the handle of his sword. The atmosphere was even worse when the door was opened. However, Umar did not also enter, he still stood with a fierce attitude at the door.

Seeing that, the Prophet stood up and walked quickly to Umar. With a speed even unexpected by Umar himself, the noble hand of the Prophet moved and gripped the neck of Umar's clothes firmly.

With a firm voice that could not be denied, the Prophet said,

"O Umar! By what means did you come? By Allah, I will not see you stop with your attitude and actions towards us until Allah sends down a disaster for you"

Umar's esophagus was blocked because he was so surprised. His arrogance collapsed, even fear took hold of him. In a soft voice he said, "O Messenger of Allah....... "

Everyone in Darul Arqam was dumbfounded. They were even more astonished to hear Umar ibn Khattab, the Lion of Quraysh, continue his words, saying,

"I have come to you to believe in Allah and His Messenger"

The Prophet released his grip and said gratefully, "Subhanallah ....."

Takbir Hamzah. In the sixth prophetic year of Dhulhijjah, Umar bin Khattab, the belligerent friend and his drinking companion, became brothers and sisters. Their hearts are bound in a rope that cannot be broken again until the afterlife. With unparalleled joy, the Prophet rubbed the breast of Umar so that his new friend would remain in the faith.
