*The Muslim Won*
The strategy of the Quraysh messengers was simple.
"Paduka" they said to Najasyi the next day, indeed the Muslims accuse him of heinousness against Isa the son of Mary."
Hearing that, Najasyi was surprised. He immediately called Ja'far and his friends.
"Do you really accuse Isa the son of Mary of a bad accusation?" ask Najasyi.
Ja'far calmly replied. "About him, opinions are as our Prophet said. "He is God's servant and messenger. His spirit and His word were spoken by the virgin Mary. "
Najasyi came down from his throne with happy sparkling eyes. He took a stick and made a straight line on the ground.
"Between Gentlemen's religion and ours," he said happily, "there is really nothing more than this line."
It was evident to Najashi that the Muslims recognized Jesus, recognized Christianity, and worshipped God.
The two Quraysh messengers returned empty-handed. There is no loophole to the accusations or tactics they have launched. This harsh reality will soon reach the leaders of the Quraysh in Mecca.
After that the Muslims lived in Habashah with a feeling of security and serenity.
*Return Place*
The Muslims who migrated to Habasyah had returned to Mecca because they heard the news that the Quraysh were not too fierce to antagonize the Prophet and his followers. However, when they found out that the Quraysh were getting tougher, they migrated back to Habash.
*God's Interpretation Invitation*
In Mecca, the princes of Quraysh, Abu Jahl ibn Hisham, Abu Sufyan ibn Harb, Abu Lahab, Utbah ibn Rabi'ah, Walid ibn Mughirah, and Ummayah ibn Khalaf invited the Prophet to their meeting. For a moment, the heart of the Prophet is full of hope, perhaps through today's meeting they will be touched by Islam.
How disappointed the Prophet was when again all they offered him was about wealth and power. He was silent for a moment, and said,
"What you say never comes to the bottom of my heart. I have come to fulfill your call to negotiate. There is no intention at all to seek riches, nor glory, nor power.
God has sent me as a messenger for all of you. If you will accept the teachings I bring, it will be your good luck in the world and in the hereafter. If all of you refuse, I will be patient until God decides what is going on between me and you."
The princes of Quraysh frowned. Again Muhammad spoke of his Lord. One of them finally spoke, too,
"Come between us and you to cooperate in this matter of divinity. If what we worship is better than what you worship, we will benefit from it. If what you worship is better than what we worship, you will benefit from it."
The person took a breath for a moment, then continued on again,
"Then you must worship our gods and keep their commandments. We will worship your Lord and keep His commandments."
The Prophet did not wait a moment to respond. He quotes a verse of the Qur'an (surah Al-Kafirun),
لَا أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ
I will not worship what you worship.
Surah Al - Kafirun (109:2)
وَلَا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ
Surah Al - Kafirun (109:3)
وَلَا أَنَا عَابِدٌ مَا عَبَدْتُمْ
And I have never been a devotee of what you worship,
Surah Al - Kafirun (109:4)
وَلَا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ
and you have never (after all) been a worshiper of the God I worship.
Surah Al - Kafirun (109:5)
لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ
For your religion, and for me, my religion.
Surah Al - Kafirun (109:6)
Negotiations are deadlocked. The princes of Quraysh felt that there was no way to make a change. They feel they have to take tough action! So harsh that Muhammad and his followers would ask them for forgiveness!
*poicot*
"You imagine!" exclaimed one of the leaders of the Quraysh to another. "The number of followers of Muhammad is increasing! Our slaves dared to raise their faces before their masters because they were protected by the rich followers of Muhammad! If we torture the slave, there must come one of Muhammad's followers who will liberate them!"
"That worries me!" tell the others,
"imagine if the number of freed slaves increased and they were given weapons, we would be overwhelmed by it!"
The other magnates fell silent. They acknowledge the threat.
"Since Hamzah and Umar followed Muhammad, we have really lacked strength" one complained.
The words hurt and opened up old wounds. For those dignitaries, the dozens of slaves who converted to Islam were not comparable to the Islam of a Hamzah or Umar.
"Muhammad would be powerless if his family from the Banu Hashim did not protect him!" furious someone.
"Yes, even the children of Hashim were not all followers of Muhammad, they had to accept the consequences! We boycott them all! Don't give them a chance to make a living! We make them all poor and miserable!"
The call was greeted by many dignitaries. Finally, they issued an announcement that they wrote on a sheet. It prohibits all humans from entering into a marriage relationship and buying and selling with Bani Hashim. They hung it on the wall of the Kaaba.
The next day, the people of Mecca became in an uproar. This decision will leave the Bani Hashim isolated, starving and depressed.
