*Abdul Muttalib Wafat*
Muhammad was brought home by Umm Aiman. He came home crying his heart is sad because now a kara. Muhammad felt lost. He lived his destiny as an orphan. It feels like life is getting quieter and sadder.
Just a few days ago, he heard from his mother the grievance of losing his father while he was in the womb.
Now, seeing himself before him, his mother went away not to return, as her father had. The young Muhammad now bore a heavy burden of life, as an orphan.
When he arrived in Mecca, Abdul-Muttalib greeted his grandson with deep pity. The love of Abdul-Muttalib increased to Muhammad.
Muhammad's grief may have been mild when his grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, lived longer. But Allah is ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ iphittlets
have determined another.
At the age of 80, his grandfather died. At that time, Muhammad was eight years old. He accompanied his grandfather's body to the grave with tears.
The sad memory of being an orphan imprints so deeply on the Messenger of Allah, that in the Quran it is mentioned when Allah reminds the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ This will be a blessing bestowed upon him in the midst of that sorrow,
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَآوَىٰ
Did He not find you as an orphan, and He protected you?
Surah Ad - Duha (93:6)
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَالًّا فَهَدَىٰ
And He found you confused, and then He gave you a clue.
*The Umayyad family*
Abdul Muttalib's death was a severe blow to the Hashimites. None of Abdul Muttalib's children had as much determination, authority, sharp vision, respect, and influence among Arabs as he did.
Then the Umayyad family came forward to take the reins of leadership that they had long desired, regardless of the threat coming from the Hashim family.
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّد
*Abu Thalib*
Before his death, Abdul Muttalib appointed one of his sons to take care of Muhammad. He did not appoint the rich, but rather miserly, Abbas. Nor did he appoint Harist, his eldest son because Harist was an incapable man.
Abdul-Muttalib appointed Abu Talib to take care of Muhammad because although he was poor, Abu Talib had the most refined and respectable feelings among the Quraysh.
Abu Talib also loved his nephew. Muhammad's virtuous, intelligent, filial, and benevolent character greatly pleased Abu Talib. He put Muhammad's interests ahead of his own children.
Muhammad loved his uncle. He knew his uncle had many small children and lived in poverty. Nevertheless, his uncle never owed anyone else anything. Abu Talib preferred to work hard to squeeze sweat to support his family. Therefore, without a doubt, Muhammad worked like the other sons of Abu Talib. He helped Abu Talib's family work, herding goats, and searching for grass.
Abu Talib felt that Muhammad would one day be a man who was clean of heart and kept away from sin. He believed that if he asked Muhammad to pray, God would grant his request. As he did when the Quraysh exclaimed "O Abu Talib, the valley was in drought and poverty was afflicting. Pray for rain".
So Abu Talib went out with Muhammad. He pressed Muhammad's back against the wall of the Kaaba and prayed. Then the cloud came from all directions, and the rain fell so heavy that the land in the valleys and in the fields became loose.
