ACTS OF APOSTLE

ACTS OF APOSTLE
chapter 41

*Boicotage News*

Small boycotts against Muslims have long been carried out. If there was a merchant who became a Muslim, Abu Jahl would say, "We will boycott your goods and turn you into a beggar."

The Messenger of Allah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ The apostles and the Muslims were exiled to the Shi'ib, a small fortress belonging to Abu Talib. The Quraysh asserted that if the Banu Hashim gave up the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ The boycott on them would be revoked. However, instead of feeling afraid, Bani Hashim even more loyal to the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ who is a member of their family.

This boycott lasted three years. During that time, only the Hajj season of the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ and its followers are free to preach out Shia'ib. It was always followed by Abu Lahab while making fun of the Prophet. During the Hajj season, Mecca was visited by many pilgrims from all over the peninsula.

As a result of the ban on trade relations, at that time, the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ Can't buy enough food. At difficult times, they are often forced to eat the leaves and thin bark of trees. Children cry at night from hunger. Meanwhile, the adults stuck his stomach with stones so as not to catch a cold.

This cruel act also caused pity to some of the Quraysh. Especially those who have a brotherly relationship with Bani Hashim. These people often in various ways helped their families in Shi'ib.

Once Abu Jahl was patrolling around Shia'ib, caught Hakim bin Hisham bin Khuwailid and his male slaves trying to smuggle gamdum and other food for his aunt Khadijah wife of the Prophet.

Unmercifully, Abu Jahl beat up the boy and snatched his grain sack.

"I swear....!" abu Jahl shouted breathlessly as he continued to hit. "I swear no one can smuggle food to Muhammad!"

At that moment, Al Bakhtari came and called out to Abu Jahl. " Hey this food was his aunt's. His aunt sent him, why did you forbid him to deliver the food to his aunt again?"

Then the two fought Abu Jahl was injured because he was hit with a camel bone.

*News in Exile*

"Mother I am hungry,".tangis a child in Shia'ib.

"Tomorrow, son! Tomorrow we have food delivery" replied his mother.

"No, I want to eat....." Unable to hold his stomach, the boy cried and screamed.

The cries and screams of the children were heard almost every night from inside the Shi'ib. Some of the Meccans began not to have the heart to see the sufferings of the Hashemites, but they were afraid to help.

There were four hundred Hasyim Bani families who survived in Shiaib. Their lives were hard and full of shortcomings, but none of them had any intention of betraying the Prophet. In fact, not all family members have embraced Islam, including Abu Talib, the leader of the Bani Hashim.

The presence of the Messenger of Allah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ The presence of the Prophet in their midst is enough to make them forget all their anxieties and make them happy. They understood that God had chosen them to protect His messengers from all enemies. For the Bani Hashim, it was an honor that made them unwilling to exchange the Messenger for anything, even a kingdom. They even ran those bitter years of seclusion with pride.

None of the four hundred men intended to save himself. In fact, they did not know when the exile would end. Day after day, week after week, month after month lived with hope. They were all determined to follow the Holy Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ wherever. They would rather be prisoners than free without the Prophet. For them, living without the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ is a life that is not worth living.

During those difficult times, there was an important figure other than the Prophet.
