ACTS OF APOSTLE
chapter 33

*Singa of the Desert*

People kept laughing at the Prophet every time they passed by. "Large liar! Crazy fellow! Magician!"

Abu Jahl continued to encourage people who mocked while often throwing caci maki as well.

The Prophet suddenly stopped stepping. He turned calmly to face Abu Jahl, with his eyes sharp. Abu Jahl stopped and fell silent. With my face full of mercy, the Prophet looked at the little people who mocked him. Instantly, the cheers died down. Everyone who was around the place was fascinated to see the state of the Prophet. Only this time they seemed to be made aware, how painful their mockery was received by the Prophet.

The Prophet's eyes looked as if he were saying, "Why are you mocking me? Am I not fighting to save you from the cruelty of the Quraysh by bringing noble Islam? If you had known, Abu Jahl's taunts would have been less painful than your words, for to you Allah has told me to spread compassion."

Without a word, the Prophet passed by. People disperse by bringing their own feelings. The Prophet's gaze was very effective in the heart of a girl. When the boy walked home, he saw Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib coming.

Hamzah was the uncle of the Prophet, they were almost the same age. From childhood, the Prophet and Hamzah grew up together, played together, and became close friends. That is why Hamza loved the Prophet so much.

Hamzah walked gallantly and proudly into Mecca. He was truly a mighty man with a tall and stout stature. With a haughty face, Hamzah stepped over while carrying his bow. He's out hunting.

The people who saw him whispered in admiration. However, the slave-girl felt that something was strange, why did this brave man not defend Muhammad, his own nephew?

Why is it so calm?

Did he know that Muhammad was his nephew, reviled by men?

Muhammad insulted the leader of another tribe that became the rival of the Bani Hashim!

Should he be called a mighty young man who never gave up on his opponent, while he did nothing when a family of Bani Hashim reviled people?

With her chest almost overflowing, the girl rebuked Hamzah, "Master, don't you know what happened to your niece?"

Hamzah stopped and the girl told him what she saw. In an instant, Hamzah's face flushed. Without saying anything, he turned towards the Kaaba with hurried steps. He was looking for Abu Jahl.

*Hamzah's Concern*

In front of the Kaaba, Abu Jahl told some of his friends, "It feels good to see Muhammad being reviled by so many people" Abu Jahl said, "If I give him a little more encouragement, it is not impossible that they will beat him."

His friends seem excited. Some people started talking, but suddenly all fell silent and looked in one direction. Abu Jahl turned his head and immediately his throat choked. Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib, the hero of Bani Hashim, loomed behind him with merciless burning eyes.

After saying so, Hamzah lifted his bow. It sounded screeching, fast, and loud so that Abu Jahl's head was injured.

Some friends of Abu Jahl stood up. It seems, fights are inevitable anymore. When Abu Jahl saw this, he raised his hand to discourage his friend. Abu Jahl was sure, under such circumstances, Hamzah would not hesitate to kill people.

With a sigh, Abu Jahl held his head. He said while holding back his anger, "We just leave him! I have indeed chided his niece."

They also left grimly and gloomily. However, Hamzah's heart was not yet relieved. He came home worried, "Why is it so easy for me to abandon my ancestors' religion?"

After a restless night, Hamzah

finally pray, "O Lord, if Muhammad is right, strengthen my heart. If Muhammad is wrong, keep me away from him!"

Hamzah met the Prophet sadly and told him all the restlessness of his heart. The Prophet then recited some verses of the Qur'an.

Slowly, Hamzah's heart was filled with calm, haru, and awe. With a whole heart, he said, too,

"I have seen that you are true, so it is your religion, my brother's son!"

Not playing with gratitude, Prophet. Now, Islam has had a strong bulwark in the face of Quraysh violence. Hamzah converted to Islam at the end of the sixth prophetic year (nubuwah).

The Quraysh did not despair, They had other means of suppressing the struggle of the Prophet.

*the Lion of Allah and the Lion of His Messenger*

Then all the valor of Hamzah was devoted to defending Allah and His religion, so that the Prophet gave Hamza a special nickname, the Lion of Allah and the Lion of Allah. Hamzah was the first Sariyah commander.

Sariyah is a Muslim army that departs without the Prophet.
