ACTS OF APOSTLE
chapter 19

*Talking of Abu Talib*

In the spring of 595 AD, the Meccan merchants again began to compile their summer trading caravans, to bring merchandise to Syria. Khadijah was also preparing his wares, but he had not found anyone to be the leader of his caravan. Several names were proposed by people, however, none of them were pleasing to his heart.

On hearing this, Abu Talib came to Khadijah and offered him Muhammad, his 25-year-old nephew, to become Khadijah's agent. Abu Talib knew that Muhammad was not yet experienced enough, but he firmly believed that Muhammad was more than capable.

Like the other Meccans, Khadija had heard the name Muhammad. One thing that Khadijah was convinced of was the honesty of Muhammad. Did not the Meccans call him "Al Amin" or "A believable man". Thus, Khadijah agreed to Abu Talib's offer. In fact he wanted to reward Muhammad twice as much as he was given to others. So Abu Talib came home happy.

Soon Abu Talib and Muhammad met Khadijah who then explained about the ins and outs of trade. Muhammad's intelligent brain worked dexterously. He immediately understood everything. Not a single explanation he asked to re-explain.

Thus, the caravan was prepared in a low boisterous voice. Khadijah included a trusted male aide, Maisarah, to accompany Muhammad on the journey. Ascended by Abu Talib and his other uncles, Muhammad came on the appointed day. They were greeted by a Khadijah uncle who was waiting for them with trade papers.

The caravan leader sounded the sign and everything immediately departed. In the summer, the Meccan caravans set off towards dusk and continued to run at night. They rest during the day because the day trip will be very tiring for everyone.

So Muhammad set out on the path he had traveled with his uncle 13 years ago.

*Defense for Muhammad*

The reward Khadijah gave to an agent was two camels. Abu Talib asked for four camels. So Khadijah answered,

"If the request is for a person who is distant and dislikeable, I will grant it, let alone for someone close and dear."

*Trade to Syam*

After a month of walking, they arrived in Syria.

After a few days of rest, start traders head to the market. Even if this is a first experience. Muhammad was not at all confused by his duties. Maisarah was astonished to see Muhammad's shrewdness in making decisions, his sharp mind, and his honesty. All the goods they brought sold for a profit that Khadijah had never obtained before.

After that, Muhammad bought quality goods that would be brought back to Mecca to be sold at high prices.

In Syria, everyone who met Muhammad would have been very impressed by him. Muhammad's appearance was charming, friendly, and very large attention to everyone. In the midst of the busyness, Maisarah saw that Muhammad always used every spare time to be alone and think. This is really unusual for Maisarah. He did not realize that his young master was indeed very accustomed to taking the time to think about the fate of mankind.

Muhammad was also very surprised to see the division of various Christian groups in Syria. Each of them has their own path and opinion when they should join in a group. Which is the most true of all. These thoughts make Muhammad's eyes always open when others sleep.

Finally, the time to go home came. Souvenirs for randai tolan was purchased and all goods packed. The time to go home is the most exciting time because they will meet again with loved ones in the hometown. They can no longer wait to hear the laughter of their children when they return later and they realize that when that time comes, they will no longer hold back tears.

*Friday Fridayat*

Friday in the days of Jahiliyah was a day of revelry throughout the peninsula. Everyone is busy in the market.

In a hadith it is mentioned that, once it happened, the sermon of Friday the Prophet was almost disturbed, because at that time came the caravan carrying merchandise.

On Friday, the spirit of trading flowed the blood of everyone at that time.
