When Love Only Remains a Name

When Love Only Remains a Name
Talk Before Sleeping

At night when everyone was asleep, Aisyah and Will were not asleep.

"Mas, how did you hire a lawyer to release Nadia?" ask Aisyah

"It's a baby" replied Will smiling

""Thank God. I went to the Princess and Shasha. They were Nadia's sister. I feel sorry to see their lives suffer so much. His mother died when picking up Nadia when he wanted to be taken by the police station and after that his father Nadia was fired until finally a little problem with his soul. They said his father was also dead. And they both have to drop out of school because they are not strong in the bully and they also live in a house that is not worth to wear. That's why I bought them a minimalist home. Not a face of gold?" ask Aisyah

"Father, as long as it can make you happy I will always support" Will replied smilingly.

"Oh yes the plan, tomorrow I want to look at Nadia again with her two sisters. Since Nadia was in prison, Nadia never met again with Puput and Shasha. Besides I also promised Nadia I would visit her and bring her two younger siblings. Don't you mind, if I look at Nadia again?" ask Aisyah

"Father, it's all up to you, baby. I'll support you as long as what you're doing is still on the right path." replied Will

"Thank you" said Aisyah.

"Tomorrow will Khaleed be sent to father and mother again?" ask Wil.

"Yes, because I didn't dare bring Khaleed out, afraid of why. Unless it's just going to your workplace or to our brother's house." replied Aisyah

"Yes, I would rather agree that. I'm afraid Khaleed's on the road" Will said.

"Yes let's go to bed, I'm sleepy" said Aisyah

"Can I ask you that again?" ask Will.

"May, it is permissible." replied Aisha who never once refused if her husband asked for her rights.

Moreover, women whose age is still young every month there is a period time, and after giving birth, the woman needs “cuti” from her husband for approximately 40 days because the Islamic law prohibits the husband to molest his wife in these conditions. Not to mention if the wife is sick or there is another age, and also the husband who often goes out of the house because of making a living and other reasons.

If a wife rejects her request because she is tired or sleepy, while the husband has only one wife, then the fault is on the side of the wife, because the husband must not vent his pleasure except to his wife or slave, as mentioned in the letter of Al-Mukminun verse 6.

Furthermore, how should a wife be invited by her husband? See the hadith below.

From Thalqu bin Ali, Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,

“When a husband invites his wife to gather should the woman come to him even if she is in the kitchen.” (CHR. Tirmidhi: 4/387; rated shahih by Al-Albani in Shahih At-Targhib: 2/199)

From Abu Hurairah, Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,

“It is not lawful for a woman to fast (sunnah) while her husband is at home, except with his permission.” (CHR. Bukhari: 16/199)

A woman should not refuse her husband's request to have intercourse with him. In fact, it is mandatory for the wife to fulfill the husband's wishes when inviting to jima’ as long as it does not harm her and causes her to abandon mandatory practices.

From Abu Hurairah radhiallahu ‘anhu, Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, “If a husband invites his wife (for intimate relations), then the wife refuses, then the husband is angry with him, then the husband is angry with her, so the angels cursed him until dawn.” (HR. al-Bukhari and Muslim).

Therefore, the woman who rejects her husband's invitation without a just cause, then she has done wrong and against the husband. The husband is no longer obligated to give him a living and clothes. For the husband, he should counsel and frighten the wife with the threat of God, separating the bed with the wife, and the husband may beat his wife with a painless blow.

God says, which means,

“Women you fear resist, so counsel them and separate them in their beds, and beat them. Then if they obey you, then do not look for a way to trouble him.” (QS. an-Nisa’: 34).

After doing their duty, they also sleep soundly until the adzan shubuh reverberate
