Ulayyisy – ulama Malikiyah – says,

The scholars – radhiyallahu anhum – said, the meaning of the body to clean up includes bathing him, memorizing him, carrying him, traveling with him without having to run. Because makruh hastened the path to accompany the corpse, which caused difficulties for the weak who followed him. (Fatawa Ulayyish, 1/155)

Based on this reason, it is recommended that the body be buried immediately without having to wait for long family members who are outside. Unless you wait for it not too long.
