I'm Just A Breakout

No matter how much Vita refuses, Vita is helpless when her husband invites her to leave the house to come with him. Vita realizes that she is not a free woman anymore who can go anywhere at will. She is bound by a marriage, whatever she does, by the permission of a husband, always obedient and submissive to her.

“Yakin no one left?” yudha asked as all their clothes were packed into a sizable bag.

“It looks like no.”

“Why your luggage is only a few.”

“I'm not moving for forever,” Vita replied. He is not yet in certainty at this time. As a human being, he was just trying to be introspective. Because the fate of someone is not always good and at least—dia has fortified itself so that later it will not be easily cracked.

“We may not come home here often. Of course I'll be busy there.”

“But sometime I definitely go home ‘kan.”

“Yes already, later if there is anything you need there, let me know.”

Vita nodded. Yudha helps him to put his bag in the car and the two ride in an agitated state.

‘I have no other choice,’ said Vita membatin. It is hard to leave the house that for twenty years has been a witness to his happy life with his parents and protect him from the scorching sun and the swift rain.

He gave up on the fate he would accept. Under the protection of a husband, Vita fell silent.

“Not sleepy?” yudha asked, looking to the side. Now one hand is stretched out to link his fingers with his wife.

“Not yet,” Vita replied while looking to the side as well. At first glance the two stared at each other, before Yudha finally refocused herself again to look forward.

“If you want to sleep let me help you lower the chair again so you are comfortable.”

“I'm afraid of sleeping.” Vita said sambi held a tight breath. “You know Mas Yudha .. I'm afraid this trip will quickly end ...” I still want to always be with you, both like this, Vita continued in her heart. The tears almost fell from the eyes.

Yudha did not answer from her eyes glanced at the girl who was staring blankly in confusion. There was a wide pit of regret from within his heart of marrying this girl who had instead led him into a pit of misery. Before, she was probably a free and happy woman. But to take it off, is also not an easy thing. Yudha married her lawfully, which meant she had a responsibility to guide her and protect her as she promised her Lord.

Yudha's cell phone rang removing their finger link. Yudha put a headset on one of her ears after raising the call. “Yes? How's Di?”

“Umi Ros sick. Enter the hospital today,” replied the voice from across.

“Yes, I'm on my way home now. You know from whom?”

“Rahma told me just now. Who gave you the news?”

“Alif was this afternoon.”

“Where have you been walking?”

“It has arrived at the city square.”

“Do I need to catch up with you?”

“For what? No need. You just enjoy your night. Umi Ros is just a low tension, it is common for him to be like that. Nothing to worry about.”

“If you need help, you can contact me immediately. Oh, yeah, who did you go with? Did that girl you bring too?”

“She's my wife,” Yudha replied slowly but firmly.

Hearing Yudha say the name of the wife made Vita bow. Everyone there, would definitely blame him after this, his inner conjecture.

“I can only pray that you are fine and can solve this problem.”

“Yes, thank you Di. About the debts I will take care of when it arrives. If there is good news with my phone and wallet, please take care of it first.”

“If the identity may—ya I can say maybe, can be saved. But if for others, please do not expect too much.”

“I just hope that the perpetrators can be secured soon so that there is a deterrent effect for them. Because it looks like they did work together.”

“Yes, that's it. There must be enlightenment there too. The village was already very bad, its civilization was getting worse, stupid and poor. The trust of their hereditary ancestors was misguided and increasingly dragged them back further.”

“Terupon you want what that village is.”

“I want to blow it up,” Jodi said as she chuckled afterwards. “So that there are no descendants of dajal like them anymore.”

Yudha chuckled amusedly hearing it. Shortly after the phone call turned off, Yudha turned to look at Vita. Either he's sleeping or just closing his eyes. But Yudha did not want to disturb him. He refocused on driving.

Above average speed, the car was hurtling through the thick of the night. Twice they stopped at the rest area to rest for a while and perform their duties as Muslims. Until a few hours passed, they finally arrived in the east Jakarta area safely. Right in the big house with those tall pillars the car stopped. One of the guards was a little old and bald, opening the gate of the house.

“We have arrived,” said Yudha told.

Gamang, Vita first waited for Yudha to come down, before herself.

“Alhamdulillah, finally Mas Yudha came home too,” said security with great pleasure.

The world still looks dimly lit, therefore Yudha saw the bald middle-aged man still yawning wide.

“Bothering people rest yes, Sir?” ask Yudha.

“Not at all, Mas. It's four o'clock too. So all of you wake up.”

The security loosened his head inside to better see clearly who was coming with his employer. “Eh, there's someone over there, anyway?”

“Yes, this is my wife,” replied Yudha without a doubt.

The somewhat old man looked shocked so that when Yudha answered so, his eyes were slightly scratched. “Wah, married? Congratulations, yes, Mas. Congratulations.”

“Yes, thank you, sir. Please drop her things to my room, yes.”

“Siap, Mas.” While saluting.

The two went down and joined each other. Yudha clasped Vita's hand tightly to give her strength and to give her a sense of trust, that she was always nearby.

Vita's face was completely pale. Yudha realized that. The hand he held felt wet from the cold sweat. “You don't need to feel that scared.”

“But still,” replied Vita in a soft voice.

“Assalamualaikum.” Arriving in the living room, the two were immediately greeted by Alif.

“Waalaikumsalam, Bang,” replied Alif approaching. “Abang healthy?” the two hugged releasing longing and stared at each other.

“Alhamdulillah Healthy Brother.”

“You're so black like this Bang?” tanya Alif saw the difference between his brother who he had not seen for about two weeks.

“Yes, but not too often hot-warm. Maybe the air there is different to the air here,” Yudha replied explaining.

For a moment, Alif had not realized there was someone next to him. But now their views meet. “This?” alif said he wanted to ask who he was.

“This is your sister-in-law,” Yudha replied for sure.

“IPar?” he asked with a surprised face. And somehow since when, not far from Alif stood up, the beautiful, graceful woman looked to shut her mouth to hold her sobbing for a moment after hearing the painful reality.

“Rahma!” Yudha squealed restrained. He was equally surprised. His heart seemed to have fallen down at that moment. His throat was choked and his feet were heavy to move. He did not think that Rahma was staying at his house. The woman said nothing. His sloppy little steps ran through him as well as Vita. Heading outside.

Yudha chased after him no less quickly without caring that there was a feeling she had to take care of now.

Arriving at the security post, Rahma called, refusing to be approached. “Stop!”

Yudha. They were facing at a distance of no more than two meters.

The woman stood tight. “Five years I've kept myself just for you, brother. But today you break it easily.”

“Give me time to explain everything. It's not what you think.”

Rahma shakes. “Do not get close. You're a man's husband now.”

“You are still here,” said Yudha pointing at his chest.

“Long. If you did you wouldn't betray me.”

“I told you I—”

Rahma interrupted immediately. “Don't say that what happened to you was forced, if finally you .. sleep with him,” he said to be kept at the end of the sentence.

“Then I have to vent it to whom?” yudha replied somewhat jerking. “She is already my wife.”

“That means you love it,” Rahma wiped her tears with the back of her hand.

“I told you you need my explanation.”

But Rahma did not heed his words.

“No, Brother. No matter how you explain. You guys are married. I can what?” with a sad face. Yudha was really feeling guilty. Somehow how to behave, facing a problem of this magnitude.

“I've guessed before that you really have nothing there. But stupidly I worry about you so much. Waiting for you to call me and think of you is endless. Without me knowing, that what I was worried about was enjoying his night with his wife.”

Yudha lowered her head in light of her series of mistakes, she could not say anything more because they were true. She enjoyed her relationship with Vita. His affection for her has also begun to grow for her.

“All is over and Don't see me again,” said Rahma again before finally the woman went on her bike, speeding away leaving Yudha who stood in confusion alone.

A few minutes Yudha was in such a state. For a moment, there was a desire to commit suicide. It was a ridiculous thought actually, but that was how he felt right now. His brain became dead-end and narrow. Before long, he felt a clap land on his shoulder. His brother's right hand, Alif noran.

“Since when is Rahma here?” yudha asked without looking.

“Since heard you want to go home tonight.” Alif seemed very disappointed in him, but could not comment on anything because he had not listened to the story as clearly as it was.

But Alif knew very well that his brother could not do anything reprehensible. “Solve your problem immediately so as not to drag on too much.”

Yudha nodded, then asked, “Where to go?”

“He stands guard at the hospital. I was told to come home to greet you.” It was the last time they spoke, before Alif finally passed from before him.

While in the living room, a woman sat alone. I can't imagine how he felt at that moment. But clearly, he was devastated. Especially when listening to a cursory conversation of her husband and lover in the courtyard of the house. Just as Vita braced herself, but the words ‘express’, could not be taken for granted in her heart. And upon his misunderstanding of thinking, he considered himself merely an impingement. And it was deeply ingrained in his heart, from this moment to forever.
