Wedding Day

Chapters 10.

Waiting is the most boring thing. That is how Ros felt so far in order to be able to marry the man of his tribe.

Ros doesn't understand. Why is love so strange?

So strangely, this ring also causes him to have a special attachment because it is able to limit him from other men. In fact, they have not done a legitimate bond in the eyes of religion.

Ros also opened a wooden box containing the letters of her future husband who had been collected. Haikal's handwriting is what he misses all the time. Which every strand of his word like a poem touches the recesses of the heart. And it was because of these letters that Ros felt himself very close even though they were far apart.

Naturally, if he loves too much, the man is indeed very special to him, regardless of how his past.

“Ros?” call the Mother into the bridal chamber.

“Iya, Bun..” Ros immediately closed his mailbox again.

“Why has your husband's family not arrived yet, huh? It's almost nine,” said Mommy while laying down in bed. From his face—beliau looks exhausted because last night was a bainai night.

“Maybe later, Bun,” replied Ros fumbled about the possibility even though he did not know for sure. He does not want to be bad because it can interfere with the thoughts of his parents.

“It should be this way, the bride-to-be got her early. Kan, can stay next door. Don't be sudden like this let us not worry.”

“Definitely come, Bun. Any minute. They said yesterday, right, besides being far away, they are also equally busy to prepare everything. Bun forgot?”

Mother was silent, maybe thinking of something. But moments later she asked again commenting on her son's makeup which she thought was too thin. “Have the makeup? It's just like this, yes, the shaman loves makeup?”

“Ros requested not to be too thick. It will look ugly. Let it be like this, natural. Doesn't look like anyone else.” Ros thought, parents do like thick makeup, this has often happened and not just the bunda.

“Eh, that,” Mother sharpened her ears, she was like hearing the sound of a car stopping in front of her house accompanied by the sound of a lot of people, “did you hear the noise outside?”

“Iya,” replied Ros also did the same.

“Maybe they've come. Yeah, already, Bun back to the front. Remember, do not go out before being ordered.”

Ros nodded. He stayed there waiting until someone came to pick him up.

‘Alhamdulillah O Allah, You found us in a state of mutual self-reliance. And because of You also, so that we get to this stage.’

While outside, Haikal was placed in front of his future father-in-law and flanked by witnesses. They sat down with a cross-legged position in the middle of which there was a small table for a dowry of gold, money and a set of prayer tools.

“Do not get the wrong name, let alone the name of the former,” Arok warned his future son-in-law so that the tense man smiled.

“Not got an ex. Hopefully not to, because heartache is more painful than toothache,” Haikal reply accordingly.

“Have you practiced before brother, Haikal?” penghulu asked.

“Already, Sir,” answered with certainty.

“Alright then, we start, yes. Bismilbornrahmaanirrahiim..”.

The event continued until not long after, Haikal managed to say akad aloud and in one breath. The lawful word is spoken from the lips of the witnesses who were there.

Not going anywhere first, Haikal actually first prostrated to express his gratitude to God. He felt that God was so good to him, because he still gave him a good partner even though he was so bad. Awe was heard from the audience after seeing this reaction.

The smile never subsides. The nervousness was increasing when they were guided to shake each other, the scene kiss the forehead, then continue to pray right in the crown. Ah, it turns out .. fall in love that beautiful.

The event lasts until the afternoon. Because in addition to parties and large meals, they also conduct famous ustaz studies that are invited directly from the city.

But at exactly four in the afternoon after the Ashar prayer, Kauman and Dawiya say goodbye.

“It looks like we have to go home first, Ni,” Dawiya told his besan. “It's afternoon, fear of overnight.”

“Unfortunately you guys didn't stay?”

“My husband is the person who can least stay.”

“Oh, yes, already then.”

Arok and Beren also told their relatives to put their souvenirs in their cars.

“We go home first huh, Kal?” pamit Dawiya to his son who still wears white bridal clothes.

“Yes, be careful.” The two hugged each other after Haikal kissed his mother's hand.

“You guys quickly follow. Later Bundo told people to expand your room to be more comfortable when competing hehee,” whispered Dawiya made Haikal suddenly widen the eyes. Luckily, no one heard it.

“Canda, Son. Don't strain that. Quickly give Bundo a grandson, yes. If it could be a woman. But if you can't do it yet, make it again, keep going.”

“Already, Bun, I'm dizzy.”

“Alah, just pretend you are. Bundo knows you were originally naughty.”

“It was then, now it has changed.”

Turning to the side, Dawiya then hugged her daughter-in-law. “This, this, our most beautiful daughter-in-law, Well,” she turned to her husband who was replying with a nod and a smile.

Even with Ros who was also both smiling at the compliment. People say, mother-in-law is scary. But the reality is that his father-in-law is very loving. Means that say creepy in-laws are those who are less fortunate.

“Bundo equals Daddy go first, yes. You guys should quickly follow anyway.”

“Goddessa, Bun. We will soon follow,” replied his son.

This conversation became the last utterance before they left along with his other entourage. So many to a few cars. That said, this was the biggest and most festive wedding event in Beringin of his day.

After the Haikal family left, the newlyweds entered the house and briefly rejoined the other family to accompany them to talk.

Of course it is. It would be very strange if both of them went straight into the room on a very late afternoon. Even though they did nothing, but the guesses of people are certainly different, right?

New bride, in the room? ha? What are they gonna do?
