Pov 1's.
I live in a truly magnificent palace. Everything is glittering and full of luxurious and glittering things. All my needs are fulfilled and probably better than normal people in general.
But it was all a pseudo-luxury and it was just an illusion that my father had created to make me useful to him. A political marriage or being an agreed hostage is destiny waiting for me. My life will never feel the thing called 'True love'. Everything is pseudo and just look at me as an ornament or a political tool that must be maintained or cared for and used appropriately.
If you think the life of a royal princess is like the life of a Princess in your fairy tale book is wrong. You guys are completely wrong about that. You do not know at all that it is a mask to kill the original story about the destiny of a royal princess.
Moreover the fate of a royal princess like me. Raised with the hands of a mother who only attach importance to the throne and her position as Queen. My mother never loved me as her daughter.
For her a princess is just a tool. A similar device is worthless with a spoon on the King's plate. If it falls off the King's plate, the King does not even glance at it and the servant will replace it with a new spoon.
This time somehow my feelings always say that something will happen to me and this kingdom. Something that will eventually lead me to a destiny that may change my life. I could only look at the state of the Palace as if it was stormed by the King.
Yes, Father. He is a truly ambitious and honest person I even consider that person to be completely useless as a King. His head was filled with all luxuries, thrones, power and women.
I faintly heard the servants mention the name of a kingdom that made my blood rustle and all my feathers stood up. Kaspian, a name that has lately always been mentioned among the palace. Some servants mentioned that the prince of the kingdom was really cruel.
The prince also committed a massive murder on the nobles of his kingdom. Hanging their bodies on the gallows for 3 days as an example for the people. Not only did I get there, I even heard rumors about his nature being so cold and bloodthirsty.
He did all of that at the age of 13. My blood seemed to run away from me when I heard that my father was making trouble with that man. Rumors of King Alexander being poisoned by his own son were also rife among the palace's servants.
"Iva, are all the rumors true?."
The personal servant who was always with me looked a little confused as to how to answer that question.
"Jawab Iva, so that I'm ready to face everything if the worst is possible"
I tried to pressure Iva into answering my question about the rumor. In royal circles, rumors were something extremely dangerous and evil. But not all rumors actually happen and not all rumors are fake news. Iva slightly hesitated that was visible from her face which could only be bowed.
"Hmmm ... Princess, it seems like all those rumors are true."
Iva lowered her head and avoided the look in my eyes that seemed to ask her to change that sentence.
"Iva, is Arcadian going to war with the Kaspians?."
Once again Iva looked confused by the question I was asking. Iva is indeed not an important person in the Arcadian kingdom and is only a personal servant of mine. But that woman is the only source of information I can get, to know important things about Arcadian.
On one hand I want this kingdom destroyed and the Arcadian King to end up on the gallows. Some of the news I got from Iva about this kingdom was really terrible. I didn't even expect the Arcadian people to be truly terrible out there.
"It looks like His Majesty is really going to attack the Kaspian this time."
I just let out a long sigh hearing what Iva said.
"Iva what me ...."
My sentence was interrupted when someone knocked on my room door strongly. Iva who heard it was really angry with the man's behavior. The room of a royal princess is not a place that can be carelessly entered and there is manners if someone wants to meet me.
"Iva."
One word from me made the already irritated Iva with that relentless knock finally move and exit the room. The yelling of iva and the argument about something I could only vaguely hear was going on behind that door. While I was only looking at the outside world through the window of the room that was in front of me. Calm down with a cup of tea Iva prepared at the small table beside me. A while later Iva rushed in and her face was completely pale.
"Mr Princess! The Caspians attacked Arcadian and now their army is seen in the northern part of the capital Arcadian!."
I stood up and ran towards the balcony of my room. My eyes immediately looked towards the north where a thunderous sound like a storm was coming from the direction the Kaspian was in. At the end of the horizon are visible formations that form an elongated line of floating objects that I have never seen.
It floated in the air complete with cannons as well as various things I had never seen before moving towards the capital of Arcadian.
The bells of danger were sounded and the entire army rushed towards the defense of Arcadian city. While I was just standing looking at the thing that might be a ruin for Arcadian.
When I turned around, I saw Iva who was sitting down with a gaping mouth and a face that looked so scared. Anyone who saw that troop would definitely feel the same as what Iva felt. In this world only the Dragons are capable of power in the air and now the Kaspians are showing their strength in front of the arrogant Arcadian.
"Iva, apparently ... King Lux Arcadia has awakened the sleeping dragon."
I turned around and passed in front of Iva who was still sitting limp. His eyes were still fixed on the emblem of one of the objects that was now very close to the Arcadian defensive wall. The emblem of the three-headed dragon that was in the front row.
The sound of cannons and the shouting of each other was simple. Arcadian troops tried to shoot the object with cannons that were on the wall. All that effort did not even scratch the constantly moving object getting closer and closer. When it shot its cannon towards the Arcadia troops, what came out of it ate whatever it went through without leaving a trace.
I chose to sit in my dining chair by the window that led to the palace's backyard.
In my mind there was only everything about this broken kingdom and the gallows that might be waiting for me. I just smiled at my situation. Even under these circumstances not a single palace warrior or Arcadian Knight picked me up.
Perhaps they were preoccupied with the King and Queen drowning in fear knowing that their throne would sink. While Iva who gathered all her strength was now standing near me. Iva tries to survive with a knee that looks vibrating.
"Iva, why are you still here?."
Iva just sighed and tried to smile at me. Iva stayed in place and poured tea in my cup.
"Why is that iva?"
I who was surprised to see the behavior of Iva who should have left me like other servants can only look towards the palace garden filled with flower gardens. The answer from Iva I didn't hear at all and it made me a little happy. There is at least one person who cares about my situation.
