Chapter 10: The Sleeping Beauty

Abhlesh walked down the Leviathan corridor. The man looked very tired, he had done many things and faced the most exhausting man in his life. Now the man was in front of the door of a room.

Nana who was supposed to be nearby had to do something at her request. Now the man was sitting on the sofa against his bed. In his mind everything was spinning, he was thinking about the survival of Arcadian and what it would do afterwards.

All of this made him breathe a long sigh. He stood up and picked up something that could quench his thirst inside the closet located nearby. A bottle of wine became his choice to release all his fatigue.

Abhlesh picked up a neatly arranged wine glass on a small table beside him. He cooled the wine with his Mana and poured the wine in his glass. Dew from the cold wine traces in his glass.

The man really enjoyed his time. He leaned back his body and once again let out a long sigh to unwind him. A glass of cold wine that accompanied him seemed to take him free from everything. But something suddenly made itself standby.

Those blue eyes were looking for something that was in his room. A voice came from somewhere in his room. The voice seemed to sound so close to him and when he looked back, his eyes suddenly widened. A girl who should not have been in the room was sleeping in front of him.

The girl's face was so calm and traces of tears were visible on her beautiful face. The girl spent all her energy crying and slept in Abhlesh's bed. Abhlesh sighed again seeing the girl's state, he actually wanted to wake the girl up. But when he saw that face, Abhlesh just smiled and walked towards him.

One thing that made Abhlesh a little surprised. The girl had ears that were different from humans in general. The girl's earlobe reminded Abhlesh of the story of the Arcadian King. A King who has a Queen of the Elf race.

King Alfred Arcadia, was the king who ruled before Luxius. His strange death, as well as his missing queen made his story famous. Abhlesh recalled the story when he saw the beautiful face of Aurora, as well as the different nature of Aurora from Luxius and his descendants.

Abhlesh was getting curious about this girl. What he was hiding and what made him do it. Question after question flashed through Abhlesh's mind. His blue eyes looked at the girl seriously, and the girl's face looked calm.

Abhlesh smiled and chose to pull his blanket over the girl's body. Being in one room with a princess who could have been a descendant of Elves obviously made Abhlesh's soul tremble. But the man chose to survive as a Gentleman and enveloped him.

Abhlesh sat on the bench again and now he turned his seat. Abhlesh looked at the girl and was curious about her reaction. The reaction when he saw a Prince who was about to take his life was sitting right before him when he first opened his eyelids.

Abhlesh poured wine in his glass and tidied up his clothes.The girl's face did not change at all and remained calm in her sleep. Until the girl's expression changed, the girl seemed to have nightmares and tears flowed back down her cheeks. Abhlesh rushed over to her and gently rubbed the girl's cheeks.

"Hey, are you okay?"

What Abhlesh did made the girl's eyes open quickly. Abhlesh's crystal-like blue eyes were locked with light blue eyeballs glittering like there were millions of stars inside. The girl reflexively pushed him back and pulled the blanket to cover her body.

"A-ap-ap-what are you doing, umm!"

"Shhh! you can attract everyone's attention."

Abhlesh who retreated a few steps immediately moved quickly to shut the girl's mouth. His blue eyes looked at the girl seriously. While the girl could only nod and her eyes glazed over.

"Don't yell, ok?"

The girl nodded again and Abhlesh slowly distanced her palm from the girl's lips. Their faces back together, Abhlesh felt the heartbeat of the girl who was like a running person. Their eyes locked again and Abhlesh slowly walked away from him.

"I'm sorry I interrupted your sleep."

Abhlesh walked to the cupboard and got a glass of water for the girl. The man actually held back his rebellious soul and chose to divert everything. While Aurora, the girl was completely shocked and checked all her clothes and breathed a sigh of relief when none of the sticky stuff on her body was reduced.

Aurora looked at Abhlesh who was behind her. The girl's face flushed in remembrance of what had just happened. He had just pushed a prince and it scared him a little. But he was relieved when the prince said an apology to him. At least it was an indication that the prince would not punish him.

Now the Prince was standing before him who was just bowed by the bed. Abhlesh thrusts a glass filled with water at Aurora, the girl welcomes her and just bows under Abhlesh's gaze. Aurora was still embarrassed by what she was doing and her face flushed red because Abhlesh had suddenly covered her mouth.

"How are you doing?"

Abhlesh throws the question to break the silence between them.

"Ha-servants are fine, Your Majesty."

Abhlesh sighed when he heard the nervous reply from Aurora.

"Are you afraid of me?"

The girl looked panicked and slowly tried to glance at Abhlesh. Abhlesh's blue eyes which were as if an icy lake looked at him coldly. Aurora lowered her gaze again and nodded weakly.

"Why?"

It was like a death sentence for that girl. His mind raged and revolved around looking for the right answer. In his heart he regretted nodding back at the question earlier. Every now and then he glanced back at Abhlesh and did the same when their gaze met.

"A-will you ... m-take me to Kaspian?"

Abhlesh did not answer the question and walked towards the window in the room. Aurora followed the Prince's steps with her eyes. When Abhlesh opened the curtain, Aurora saw a cloud and a bird flying beyond the glass. Abhlesh hinted for the girl to see for herself through the window before her.

Aurora hesitated a little and her body seemed to be fixated on that spot. Abhlesh who saw him sighed for the umpteenth time today.

"Would you walk here or be carried?"

Hearing that sentence, Aurora shook her head with a reddened face and walked slowly towards the man. His face was still downcast and Abhlesh saw that as something of interest to him. A princess who looked so timid before him made the man a little interested in her.

Aurora looked through the window, her gaze was greeted by a sea of clouds that gathered very beautifully. When he looked down, his eyes were locked on a lake with buildings on it. And a very large city became the thing that made him flabbergasted.

"Welcome to Kaspian."
