Chapter 41: Battle or .... ? S1 End

Elizabeth Bertia Aema Rosalian, a famous figure in the great war hundreds of years ago. He holds many titles and none of them make others fearless. One of them was the Queen of Disaster, the title was given to her and Bertia was very fond of the title.

Now he stood in front of hundreds of people who filled the training ground. He accepted a challenge that he found very boring. In front of him stood a blond man and his handsome face looked flushed. That man was Leo, one of the strongest Kaspian Knights who challenged him. But Leo's face reddened not without reason, it was because Bertia did not accept this fight if one-on-one.

"As I said. You two face me and don't take turns. It's too time consuming and boring."

Bertia smiled faintly and made Leo's emotions peak. But for a Knight emotions are something that can affect concentration and Leo understands that. Now he looked towards Abhlesh who was sitting in the audience. Beside the other Abhlesh Knights including Claude sat looking at him.

"Claude, follow the request."

As if he understood the code from Leo, Abhlesh gave Claude permission to participate in the fight. Now Bertia's position is only his own, while in front of him Leo and Claude look serious with weapons that lead to Bertia. Claude is a spear user and himself is a fighter who is able to make his name known throughout the Kaspian. While Leo uses a special sword that Abhlesh gave him. All the weapons of the Kaspian Knights were Abhlesh designs and the strength of their weapons could not be underestimated.

Bertia just looked at the two of them with a bored look and even herself seemed to not take all of this seriously. Igrit only sighed and chose to focus on Leo and Claude if something was out of control. Igrit stands and judges on a 2 vs 1 fight that may look out of balance. But for Igrit, this fight is only a game for Bertia.

"Give up all your abilities. If the opponent gives up then the match I stop. If I think the opponent is no longer able to fight, the match will also stop. Killing the opponent is a violation especially you Bertia. Alright ... get started!"

Right after Igrit started it, Leo and Claude moved at a speed that was unbelievable to humans. In the blink of an eye those who had been nearly 50 meters away from Bertia were now right in front of him. Leo swung the sword in his left hand and Bertia's neck was the target for Leo. While Claude simultaneously pointed the tip of his spear at Bertia who was completely motionless.

"That's all?"

Bertia stopped the attacks of the two of them easily. He even caught the sword and spear of two Kaspian Knights with just two fingers. Everyone was silent about what they saw. Everyone except Abhlesh and Igrit already knew Bertia's abilities.

Leo and Claude try to remove their weapons from Bertia's finger clasp. But their weapons seemed to be stuck in stone and it was very difficult to pull them. Bertia smiled looking at the two Knights who were trying hard to pull out their weapons.

"Repeat again."

Bertia took off their weapons and took a few steps back. What Bertia did was form his paltry taste in the two people who were his opponents.

"Lust, I'm sure Pride doesn't know about this."

The words from Igrit made Bertia smile. Only Igrit knew about Bertia and himself who was now the weakest of the other Bertia-bertia. But Lust was the cruelest and liked to play tricks on her opponent.

"ah! you want to join Igrit? they are both too weak for me. The two people there were even much stronger than them."

"Will not go forward? Then it's my turn."

Bertia disappeared and appeared right behind Leo. But when Leo regained consciousness, Bertia's legs were right in front of his eyes. Leo did not even have time to react and received the kick perfectly. His body bounced far away and struck the barrier wall that was 100 meters behind him.

In that situation Claude was not just silent and apparently launched an attack on Bertia who seemed to be off guard. But all of that was just Bertia's trick and as Claude approached, Bertia lashed out a punch lodged in Claude's stomach. The man was the same fate as Leo and Bertia just smiled at the situation of the two of them.

"Hey Igrit! you're serious they belong to the strongest army you mentioned earlier?"

Igrit only let out a long sigh hearing Bertia's sentence. Handling Bertia was something that was disgusting for Igrit. If not for the contract, he might have fought desperately to keep Bertia from getting out of the nest.

Suddenly a sword shot out rapidly towards Bertia. Although Bertia easily avoided it, but this time the tip of the spear's eye was already waiting for him. Bertia had no choice but to jump and take some distance.

"Wah .. you guys are ce-"

Bertia's sentence was interrupted because Claude was already beside her. Their fight was really fast and the sound of iron clashing against iron rang out loud in the ears of the audience. Only a few people were able to watch that match perfectly. The rest only saw 2 red and white shadows chasing after one purple shadow.

Bertia smiled looking at the different power changes of his two opponents. The two of them even looked very serious and one mistake could hurt Bertia. But all that if Bertia was on the same level as them.

"Hops!"

Bertia jumps to avoid a chain attack from Leo and Claude. Now he is in the air and a golden opportunity for his two opponents. Leo and Claude thought this time they could make a wound on Bertia and shut his mouth so as not to underestimate them. But the two of them were now lying with intense pain all over their bodies.

Igrit stopped the match and Bertia was seen laughing looking at the two of them. The events are happening so fast that even they are unaware of when and how Bertia attacked them. The last thing they remembered was Bertia who was in the air and after that their memories seemed to blur. Now Igrit even stood beside them and Bertia was still laughing.

"Hey hey, those two guys over there are even stronger than you. The white-haired man could withstand my attack with his body. While the blindfold was even able to cut a little from my robe. You are weak and big hahaha."

Bertia's words left Claude and Leo speechless. They realized that the reason why the other Knights did not reject Bertia was because of the power they had seen. While the two of them were completely unaware of that and instead underestimated the opponent. Looks like this time Claude and Leo got enough meaningful lessons to change their outlook.
