Chapter 38: The Contract

Wake up, owner of the blood of the emperor.

The sound made Abhlesh open his eyelids and find himself back in a strange place. This time he was standing in the middle of a place that seemed to be a former battlefield. Millions of corpses were strewn as far as his eyes could see and Abhlesh felt an extremely powerful death aura in this place. But before him stood a little girl who was no stranger to Abhlesh. The girl's face is very similar to the face of Elizabeth Rosalian that Igrit once said.

"Why did you take me to this place?"

The girl looked at Abhlesh and smiled. If Abhlesh had not felt the death aura of the girl, perhaps the girl's smile was one that could calm the hearts of anyone who saw her. But the death aura of the girl felt very strong and all that seemed to say that the girl was the perpetrator of all this.

"Who is he?"

The girl turned to Abhlesh and smiled. Abhlesh is still trying to find answers from his memory. The man's face was truly familiar, yet it seemed like the memories were from his life before reincarnation.

"That's not important. I just wanted to show you something."

The girl clapped her hands and everything changed. Like an accelerated video, all events unfolded very quickly and when it stopped, a gigantic crack opened in the sky. Something came out of the crack and then Abhlesh fell silent. Gaia appeared and hundreds of people tried to attack Gaia as if everything had been planned.

Until when they started attacking, everything blackened. Now Abhlesh and the girl are standing in different places. This place is so dark without any light. But Abhlesh could see the girl smiling at him. The girl reached out her hand and the smile disappeared from her face.

"If you want, I can help what you want. On condition that you help me get revenge. How's it?"

Abhlesh fell silent, everything the girl said made him doubtful. Abhlesh looked into the girl's eyes, wanting to confirm something before accepting the suspicious-sounding offer.

"What do you want to do?"

The girl smiled again and approached Abhlesh.

"Bring Gaia down from her filthy lair and kill her. Accept it or not?"

"Alright, help me then I'll help you. My blood is proof of the contract, I, Abhlesh Kaspian accept your terms and apply for a blood contract."

The girl smiled and bowed her body. The girl's movements were like a perfect noble.

Suez City is in chaos again. Kaspian's airship moved away on Hektor's orders. Explosion after explosion in Suez. The Caspian forces attempted to evacuate the entire city of Suez.
