Abhlesh entered his study. Behind him Igrit followed in his footsteps and Nana returned to her position in the corner of the room. Only the three of them were in the room and since from the Airship port earlier, Abhlesh had not taken out a single sentence.
"So, do you think Aurora should know everything?"
Abhlesh leaned against his body and those blue eyes looked at Igrit intently. However Igrit looked relaxed and even poured tea for Abhlesh.
"I don't think it's time the girl found out about Gaia."
Igrit's relaxed tone made Abhlesh sigh deeply. The man before him was not a random person and when compared to Abhlesh, Igrit might be stronger in terms of fighting.
"As far as you are. Aurora shouldn't know any of this. That girl is too gentle to accept my destiny."
Abhlesh took his tea and enjoyed the aroma and taste of the drink. He began to feel what he hated most about his soul. Gaia had arranged everything and made Abhlesh more dependent on Aurora.
"It looks like Gaia has already started her steps."
Igrit this time stared intently at Abhlesh who could only sigh. Igrit realizes that Abhlesh is struggling to distract him from Aurora. But it all seems to be in vain.
"You know I hate this soul game the most. Is that creature really a god?"
Igrit smiled bitterly at Abhlesh's question. In this world only a few people could make Igrit's expression come out and Abhlesh was one of them.
"As far as I know, Gaia is indeed a god and she is one of the 3 Gods that should rule the world."
Abhlesh leaned slightly because this topic was only the first time he had heard.
"you mean? the last time I met her, Gaia showed me a mural and I think you know what it is too?"
Igrit put down his tea cup and looked back at Abhlesh. But his gaze this time was more to a sense of wonder and amazement.
"You met him? how could you possibly live? the only creature he's ever met is that guy."
Abhlesh shrugged his shoulders as if to say that he did not know. But he did think that if Gaia intended to kill him, maybe it could be easily done. Magic and everything seemed to have no effect on the creature.
"It seems like everything is starting to get complicated again. The last time I thought like this was when the Tree Of Life lost its power. But then someone changed the course of the war and managed to take the Seed of life."
Igrit looked away as if trying to remember something. Igrit tried to revive his memory of the war and he remembered it with the smile of the man. A smile that even made a dragon of his class himself feel danger and fear.
"There's a lot we have to prepare for if you really want to change destiny. But it seems Gaia doesn't want all that to happen, especially to pull her down takes something big."
Igrit closed his eyes and leaned against the sofa he was sitting on. His face pointed towards the ceiling and his memories were now flying far into the past.
"Ah, I forgot to tell you something, did you know something about that little girl who used to be called the Queen Of Apo-"
"Elizabeth Bertian Aima Rosalian. Queen Of Disaster, Walking Calamity, True Vampire, Queen of Seven Soul, Sin Of God. That's the name he's holding, how do you know about him?"
"I think he helped me out of Gaia's dream trap."
The sentence made Igrit's expression change and his human eyes had even changed with the eyes of a reptile-like Dragon. But the aura Igrit gave off was not like when he was dealing with Aurora.
"Impossible, how may-not, no, I think all this makes sense. If he shows himself it means ...."
Igrit's facial expression changed again, but this time it was much more sinister. The golden eyeball stared deeply at the tense looking Abhlesh. Maybe for Abhlesh to face the Dragon is not difficult, but not with the Dragon before him. The only Dragon who survived the war of the gods and not because of luck. Because of his power as an individual.
"We must return to theocracy! tell Hektor and Emerson not to enter the deepest basement of the Theocracy. That crazy woman was sealed in that place!"
Hearing what Igrit said, Abhlesh's expression turned serious. Without saying much Igrit stood up and looked at Abhlesh who was following his movements.
"What else did he say?"
Abhlesh tried to remember the sentence of the little girl he met.
"find me in the darkest yet brightest place and don't wake me up before you turn this land around."
Abhlesh's sentence further made Igrit sure of one thing. The little girl he had avoided the most would wake up again and it seemed like Gaia did not know any of this. On the one hand Igrit was happy, but on the other hand all this would be more complicated for him.
"We have to go there. No, I have to go there. You have to stay here and wait for news from me. This time everything will be back to clear."
Abhlesh just nodded at Igrit's words. He had no intention of waking up the little girl. But if something forced him, it was not impossible for Abhlesh to do it. He sat back on the sofa with a tired face. Everything is getting more complicated for Abhlesh, he has not even solved the problem and now another problem actually comes to him.
"Is my soul so filthy that the Lord has punished me like this?"
Abhlesh let out a long sigh and laid down his body. His mind was glaring about everything he had to do. For now, cutting ties with Aurora was not his choice. But he also did not want to see the death of Aurora that Gaia showed him.
"Red Lady, I think we'll meet sooner than you think."
Abhlesh's voice disappeared into the wall of his room. Nana only looked at the Prince who was lying weakly on the sofa. For Nana, Abhlesh was both her savior and master. But fate always plays with him and tortures the Prince who fights alone. In the Kaspian itself only a few people know the tragic fate of the Prince. Yet he and the people even including Igrit could not do much. Contracts on Gods are not an easy thing to remove and obviously require a great deal.
Now Abhlesh's room is shrouded in a quiet and calming atmosphere. Nana does not want to disturb the Prince's rest and just look after him. There is nothing more soothing than seeing Abhlesh asleep because of all his burdens. Hopefully the man can solve all his problems and stand one stage with Gaia to do something about his destiny.
