Abhlesh and Aurora face each other on a park gazebo bench. The atmosphere between them was very stiff and Abhlesh did not care about it at all. The purpose of her summoning Aurora to this place was to find out something about the girl.
"How are you doing?"
Abhlesh broke the silence between them and looked straight at Aurora. The girl simply lowered her head and occasionally glanced towards those blue eyes.
"Everything's fine, Your Majesty."
Abhlesh nodded small with that answer. The man held out a letter that had been lying in the corner of the table.
"Read and say your opinion."
Aurora nodded weakly and took the letter slowly. The girl seemed to be in the middle of a strong air pressure and suffocating her breath. Aurora read the letter slowly.
The girl's eyes seemed to be shocked by the contents of the letter and her hands trembled slightly. The letter was the letter that the Dragon Emperor sent to Abhlesh. The contents of the letter asked Aurora and in that way they would forgive Kaspian. All sorts of thoughts raged within the mind of the girl.
The one thing that scared the girl was the war that was happening because of her. The Caspian, a peaceful and prosperous kingdom, will fall in the flames of war. The Dragon Emperor had a good relationship with Arcadian, and the Emperor had indeed put his heart on Aurora long ago.
The news of the fall of the Arcadian and Aurora being brought to the Caspian must have reached their ears. That is what brought this letter into Abhlesh's hands.
"So what do you think?"
Abhlesh's question breaks Aurora's mind. The girl thought out loud the reason and purpose Abhlesh asked her. But the man's gaze did not give Aurora much time and tears began to flow down the girl's cheeks. Abhlesh only watched the girl and did not move at all.
Abhlesh awaits the girl's response and if it does not match what she wants, today also Aurora will suffer the same fate as Luxius and his descendants. The girl held back her cries and sighed as she kept trying to look at Abhlesh. Those cold blue eyes looked at Aurora with an equally cold gaze.
Aurora persisted with all that and returned the gaze with teary eyes. Her lips trembled withstanding her cries and her breath seemed to be tight. The girl again let out a long sigh and began to open her mouth.
"Ji-if Kaspian .. j-if Kaspian should fight with the Dragon Emperor ...."
The girl's words were cut off and her lips trembled. Aurora tried to hold back her cries and she tried to look strong in those blue eyes.
"So it's better for you if the Kaspians fight?"
Abhlesh's expression changed instantly. The eyes were as if a sea of ice that was ready to swallow whatever fell on it. While Aurora was still trying to gather her strength and let out a long sigh.
"S-I haven't finished Y-Your Majesty."
Abhlesh smashed the table with his palm and the surface of the table froze. Aurora tries to hold back her fear and this time she is determined to fight it.
"Give a servant to the Dragon Emperor .. so that the prosperous Kaspian y-does remain peaceful."
Abhlesh smiled without Aurora noticing. The man was satisfied with Aurora's reply. While Aurora, the girl was now kneeling and her head was bowed.
"Do you consider the Kaspian to be at peace because of your decision?"
Aurora was silent. The girl did not know what to say, her head just bowed and tears flowed from her eyes. She realized she was just a weak girl, a girl who only served as a medium of exchange wherever she was.
Abhlesh looked at the girl without telling her to stand up. Those eyes made Aurora even more aware of her position. What he realized yesterday was just a game of Abhlesh and all his fantasies were just mortal. His heart began to cry over his pitiful self.
"Igrit will take you to the Emperor this afternoon."
Abhlesh stood before the kneeling Aurora. The girl held back her cries and began to pity herself.
"Do you think you're just an item?"
Aurora gasped at the question. He had been living in that shadow all along. His face and his charming looks were just a medium of exchange for something that brought profit to his kingdom. Although this had not happened, the girl believed herself to be an item in the eyes of the King and in the eyes of Abhlesh.
"Do you think you deserve to be exchanged for Caspian peace?"
The question was again thrown at him. The girl was pensive, her tears kept flowing on that pretty face. Abhlesh knelt before the girl and raised his face gently. The blue eyes are now very close to Aurora's face. The man smiled, his eyes showing warmth that Aurora had never seen from Abhlesh before.
"Let me answer that question, you are unworthy and forever unworthy of falling into anyone's hands, not as long as I am alive and the kingdom is still standing."
Aurora tried to digest Abhlesh's sentence and the girl was just pensive. Abhlesh says Aurora will never leave him as long as the man is alive and the Caspian kingdom is still standing.
Abhlesh helped the girl stand up and hugged her. Such a warm and gentle hug made Aurora's cry break. He knew that Abhlesh would not make it a medium of exchange.
Aurora releases all her emotions. What he thought all this time about Abhlesh was completely wrong. The man may indeed be cold, but he will protect his entire people and what he thinks is precious to him.
"Igrit will deliver a message to that Emperor, do you want to convey something?"
Aurora shook her head and simply buried her face in Abhlesh's arms. The girl seemed to find an oasis in the desert of her arid life. He returned to a place he could call home.
"I've seen you before."
The voice came from behind Abhlesh. A yellow haired man walked up to the two of them. The man's expression was flat and as if emotionless.
Abhlesh led Aurora to sit down. Abhlesh even wiped away Aurora's tears that were still on her cheeks. Now Aurora was a little calm and the stranger stood beside Abhlesh like a Knight protecting his master.
"Sorry Sir ..."
"Igrit."
"Sir Igrit's never seen me?"
Igrit simply nodded and his expression seemed to be uninterested in Aurora. The man stood behind Abhlesh who was now back in his previous position.
"Igrit met Queen Halet."
Abhleh added the sentence and Aurora seemed to have heard the name first. The girl seemed to have no idea about King Alfred having the Queen of an Elf.
"Hmm .. didn't King Alfred have a Queen named Isabella and Queen Isabella was a mother-"
"You're wrong, Halet is your mother and Alfred is your father, Luxius that idiot changed Arcadian history and buried your identity."
Aurora's silent. The information spewed out on him was like a shockwave that opened up the entire veil. Arcadian's dark secret he never knew. Now he is faced with something that is beyond his expectations. He could only pensively look at Igrit as if in disbelief.
Igrit did not continue his sentence and approached Aurora. The man was still with his expressionless face and Abhlesh smiled at Aurora.
"Hold a little, Igrit will show you something."
When the sentence was finished coming out of Abhlesh's mouth, Igrit put his thumb on Aurora's forehead and the girl immediately lost consciousness.
