The Rise Of The Queen Ernest

The Rise Of The Queen Ernest
The Stolen Box

Agnes took the box that Amy had stored in a closet, not knowing what was in the box but she had to get the contents. Agnes looked towards Amy who was sleeping then she looked towards the princess who was also sleeping. He better be quick let alone that spy already waiting for him outside.

The mysterious box brought by Amy is opened, a wisp of cloth is inside. The clump of cloth was of course wrapped in something that seemed very valuable. Agnes seemed hesitant, it was very wanting to exchange the contents inside the cloth but she did not dare because she was being watched.

Both of Agnes' hands trembled as she picked up the thing inside the box. He had to hurry if not then what he did would be discovered. The package was taken and after that Agnes rushed towards the window and opened the shutters slowly.

"Give me that thing!" a sword was already under Agnes' neck.

"I've taken what you want so don't involve me anymore!" agnes said slowly.

"You'd better obey if you don't get the death you're gonna get!"

"No, don't do it!" pinta Agnes pleads.

"If so, shut up and obey because you're going to die!"

Agnes nodded with tears flowing. The sword was removed from under the neck, and the spy left with the contents of the box. The queen would be very happy with what she brought but it was late at night so she would give the thing wrapped in cloth tomorrow.

After the spy left, Agnes went back to sleep. Amy and Alena are still asleep. He was really very lucky they didn't know what he had done. Hopefully the princess doesn't know and suspects him, she really doesn't know what to do.

Morning was approaching and as nothing had happened last night, Agnes woke up as usual and prepared clothes and bath water for Ernest's daughter. Alena had woken up because she wanted to go to the king and queen this morning so they would know if she had returned and she wanted to introduce Lucius as their bodyguard.

"I had a bad dream last night" Alena said as Agnes helped her take a bath.

"What do you dream of, princess?" ask Agnes.

"I dreamed that two large venomous snakes had entered my room, Agnes. I saw that the snake was about to attack Amy and me while you were carrying a wooden stick in your hand" Alena looked at Agnes's facial expression seriously after saying that.

"Then, what happened, princess?" ask Agnes.

"If you were in that position, where the snake would peck at me and Amy. What are you gonna do, Agnes? Are you going to save me and hit that snake or are you going to save Amy first?" ask Alena.

"What are you saying, Princess? Of course I'll save you first and then I'll save Amy" replied Agnes.

"I'm glad to hear it, Agnes. I hope you remain loyal to me and do not betray!"

Agnes was shocked to hear the words of the princess. What did Princess Ernest mean? Did the princess suspect herself?

"I wouldn't do that, Princess," said Agnes.

"I'm so glad to hear that. Now help you get dressed, I'll see the king and queen after this."

"Well, Princess," Agnes rushed over, picking up the thin clothes that Alena would use to cover her naked body while coming out of the bath.

Amy, who was assigned to make food and drink, went inside while Alena was wearing her clothes. Alena glanced at him for a while, Amy nodded as a sign she understood with the gesture given by the princess.

"They've been waiting, Princess," said Amy.

"Let them wait!"

"They're who?" ask Agnes.

"You'll find out later" Amy said with a smile.

Amy gave him the soup she brought, Alena was soon finished because she had been awaited by Prince Lucius. After all, the soup was only a stomach booster because he would eat with his family later. They immediately searched for the king and queen who were surprised to find their daughter had returned.

"Ernest" Queen Hana approached her daughter.

"Honour to Mother and Father" Alena bowed to pay respect to her parents.

"When did you come back? Why didn't you tell us?" ask the queen mother who was standing in front of her.

"Sorry, Mother. I returned secretly, therefore I did not give Mother any news."

"Well, as long as you get home safe. Mother is very happy. How was your trip, was it fun?"

"Sure, Mother. It's fun despite the distractions."

"What do you mean, Ernest, and who are they?" ask king Leon.

"They are the ones who helped me on the way, Father. I was hit by a poisoned arrow and they helped me. Because they were so kind and had no place to live, I decided to take them to the palace to become my personal bodyguard. I hope Mother and Father do not mind" explained Alena and at that time, the prince and Bastian saluted.

"But, Ernest," Queen Hana looked carefully at Prince Lucius and Bastian and she again said, "At the palace are so many reliable bodyguards but why did you take a stranger you just met to be your bodyguard?" ask the queen.

"Yes, Ernest. It's best not to make the stranger you just met your bodyguards because they could be, they're both the bad guys!" king Leon confirmed what the queen said.

"I know, Ayahanda. I know I can't take bodyguards carelessly but I owe them my life. If they really wanted my death, the two of them wouldn't have helped me when I was hit by a poisoned arrow by that, I'm sure they were good people!"

"All right, what you said is very true. I hope they can really take care of you!"

"We will always be loyal to Ernest's daughter, His Majesty," Lucius and Bastian knelt down so that king Leon and Queen Hana would trust him.

"Well, we'll trust you both!" said King Leon.

"Thank you, Your Majesty," Lucius and Bastian moved on.

"Thank you, Father," Alena saluted him.

Alena took her two new bodyguards to leave. There was a lot he wanted to do but it was not the right time. He also could not act rashly by inviting the king and queen to meet because it could be suspected. Alena did not return to the room, she went to enjoy her time by taking a short walk.

The queen of darkness was furious, moreover Ernest suddenly had two bodyguards. It seems that now it will not be easy to fight against the formerly useless princess.

"Damn it, it looks like to kill him won't be easy from now on!"

"Don't worry, Queen. Although he has bodyguards, we also have strength. This is what the queen wants!" the stolen items were also given.

"Open!" the queen's orders.

His men immediately opened the bundle of cloth, they were already very excited but when the cloth was already open, they were all shocked to see the plum sweets that were inside.

"What does this mean? Do you want to fool me?" the queen shouted in anger.

"I really saw it, Queen. I saw him take this thing out of the box!"

"Fool, we've been fooled!" both hands clutching tightly. He thought he was going to get the contents of the box but it turns out that he was tricked with candied plums. No way, Ernest is getting dangerous. It seemed like he had to come up with a stratagem to kill Ernest as soon as possible.
