One Soul and One Body

After proposing to Ernest and obtaining the consent of King Leon and Queen Hana, Lucius returned and expressed his intention to propose Ernest as empress to his parents.

King James and Queen Eliza were opposed due to Ernest's poor image. Although the image was clean but they opposed the decision of the prince who they considered too hasty in making a decision. They assumed the prince was instigated let alone they knew of the general who had gone to help Lucius if Lucius had been in the kingdom of Kent Arsia all along.

Lucius tried to convince his father and mother, he was sure if he wanted to make Ernest empress. The news was heard by the people of Kenneth's kingdom. Some people agreed that they opposed the decision of Prince Lucius but in the end all the people agreed that King James and Queen Eliza could not oppose the decision of Prince Lucius.

It was the wedding day of Prince Lucius and Princess Ernest. The people of Kent Arsia's kingdom were so enthusiastic to welcome the coming of the Prince that was soon to come because Lucius was about to pick up Ernest. The wedding will be held at Kenneth's palace. All has been prepared, the unification of the two kingdoms will certainly be held so festively. The whole kingdom is invited to the wedding, the event will be held seven days and seven nights and the people will rejoice in it.

Since there was no Arabella anymore, Ernest was named the future queen of the kingdom of Kent Arsia. All the people certainly approved the decision of King Leon with great enthusiasm and put great hopes on the daughter of Ernest but now, they have to release the princess who will soon be taken away by the prince Lucius.

Queen Hana looked sad, before she had two daughters but after one was left, her daughter would be taken away from her. This made the situation of Queen Hana less good when today they had to leave for the kingdom of Kenneth.

King Leon seemed worried, if they had children then they would not be lonely left behind by their daughter. Fate is sometimes cruel, no one knows what will happen but they can only put great hope on Ernest to give offspring and give successors who will lead the kingdom of Kent Arsia later.

Ernest is getting ready to be helped by Amy and Agnes, all the belongings of Ernest's daughter are ready and will be brought along. It felt so sad that they would not be in that kingdom again from now on. Although they would return later if Ernest's daughter visited but the sad feeling of leaving home was felt.

"The prince is coming, Princess. You have to welcome him" Amy said.

"Help me, I want to see Ayanda and Mommy" said Ernest.

Amy and Agnes help Ernest's daughter hold onto her dress. It turned out that the king and queen were already waiting because prince Lucius had already entered the palace gate. King Leon and Queen Hana looked at their daughter's appearance.

They didn't care even though Ernest was the daughter of a servant, which they knew once they decided to take care of Ernest, he said, Ernest was already their daughter even though they had to be let down by one of the princesses they had taken care of but the servant daughter they had found had only made them proud and did not humiliate them at all.

"You look great, baby, but today we have to let go of you to the man who will be your husband" Queen Hana said.

"Don't say that, Mother. I will always visit Mother and Father."

"Come here, let Mother hold you for a moment" the queen asked.

Ernest stepped closer. Queen Hana and King Leon immediately embraced her. The heavy feeling they felt because they had to let go of their daughter. Although they will participate but when they return later, they will not return together with their daughter.

"We love you very much, Ernest" Queen Hana said.

"I also love Mother and Father."

Queen Hana cried, King Leon shed tears. Ernest also cried as did Amy and Agnes and the servants who were there. However, a farewell is not pleasant and certainly painful.

"We will miss you very much" said Queen Hana.

"Thank you Mother and Father for taking care of me and raising me."

"Don't say that, let's immediately welcome the arrival of prince Lucius," Queen Hana kissed Ernest's cheek and wiped her tears.

Ernest nodded and smiled, they hugged again for a while and after that they rushed to welcome the arrival of the prince Lucius who had arrived. The man was already dashing despite wearing tight pants but Ernest welcomed his arrival with a smile. Lucius even almost fell to see the beauty of his future empress. The man lowered his head before Ernest while extending his hand.

"You look great, my queen," he said.

"In a moment, you'll be my queen and queen of my life!"

"Save your praise, prince. Shouldn't we hurry. Don't let my makeup break before I arrive at Kenneth's kingdom" said Ernest.

"That can't happen!" Lucius took his bride-to-be to a chariot that had been decorated so beautifully of course the chariot was prepared for Ernest.

Trains for King Leon and Queen Hana were also prepared. They rushed without wasting time. Although in a bad state but queen Hana still want to go to see their daughter's wedding. A shortcut would be passed so that they could quickly arrive at Kenneth's kingdom.

The people stand in the streets to take them away and they want to see their king and queen and their beloved daughter. Ernest even waved occasionally at the people who loved him so much. Their hatred for Ernest's daughter was completely gone.

The journey taken is quite time consuming but they arrive on time. They were greeted with great joy and then escorted to the rest that was provided for them. All are waiting for the presence of the princess and even guests have come because their wedding will be held soon.

King Leon and Queen Hana were welcomed by King James and Queen Eliza. They had already joined the others, inside the palace hall where the guests were there.

Amy and Agnes are busy dressing Princess Ernest because soon the princess will be the queen consort of prince Lucius and even princess Ernest will be the queen of two kingdoms, the queen of the kingdom Kenneth and will be the queen of the kingdom the Kent Kingdom Arsia. Both of Ernest's eyes were closed, letting Amy and Agnes dress his face and also do his hair.

Amy didn't dare call because she thought Ernest's daughter was sleeping. Princess Ernest was already beautiful from the beginning so there was no need to get a lot of polish. Just a little bit of his appearance already looks amazing. Even a beautiful dress has been worn by Ernest, it does not take long the appearance already looks perfect.

"It's over, princess," said Amy.

Ernest opened both eyes, what he saw first was his reflection in the mirror. His appearance looks extraordinary, Ernest smiled faintly at the extraordinary appearance of course the appearance was his.

"You look great, Princess," praised Amy and Agnes.

"Thank you for the praise you two have," Ernest said with a satisfied expression. Everything had passed, Ernest's name had recovered even he had gained an unexpected standing.  Everything that happened was completely unexpected and hard to accept by common sense but that was what was happening to him.

When the wedding was over, Queen Hana and King Leon approached their daughter because King Leon was taking her daughter to the altar. Again Queen Hana hugged her daughter and cried, she really could not part with her daughter.

"Please don't cry, Mother," asked Ernest.

"Mother can't let go of you yet, Ernest," replied his mother.

"If so, I'll always be in the palace and won't go anywhere."

"No, Ernest. You have a life and Prince Lucius is a very compatible soul mate to you. Mommy can't be selfish let alone Mommy wants you to be happy."

"Thank you, Mother," Ernest hugged his mother tightly. She gets kisses from both parents who love her very much.

King Leon had already given him an arm, which marked they had to hurry. Do not let the guests wait and do not let Prince Lucius wait for his future empress for so long. The door that was so big was closed, Ernest closed his eyes and took a breath and as soon as the door opened, both of his eyes opened.

Ernest stepped in, towards his future where the dashing and handsome prince was already waiting. No one knows what will happen to his life, not even he knows it will be thrown away into the past, a foreign world that he does not know. Although it feels strange, if he can go back and tell his best friend maybe he will be the subject of scorn and laughter but that's what happened to him and now, he said, even though Ernest had said goodbye for the last time, he would become Ernest Herbert, the princess of the fifteenth century.

Although he came from the twentieth century but he would not tell anyone of his origin so that no history would change and now, he is Ernest and he will forget who he is because Alena Herbert is no more than he and Ernest, already one soul and one body.
