The Rise Of The Queen Ernest

The Rise Of The Queen Ernest
Secret Messages

The villagers of Westtrink increasingly besieged Alena and Amy. All were still staring at them with suspicious gazes even the cafe maid who was serving them earlier also surrounded them with a scythe in hand. Some of the villagers, lurking Amy and Alena from afar like they were after them.

Alena and Amy's wiggle room is getting smaller, they both really have no place to run even if Alena fights back, she and Amy will die in vain at the hands of the villagers.

"What does this mean?" Alena ventured to ask and drew her sword. The servant stepped forward, with a sharp sickle directed towards Alena.

"That's our question, who are you two and why did you come to this damned village?"

"Fucking village?" Alena seemed clueless as to what the waiter said.

"True, Westtrink village is a cursed village because the first witch was born from this village. Because of that, various deadly diseases have sprung up in this village and you two, the first foreigners who were so brave came to the village after decades. Now tell us, what's your purpose in coming to this village and why are you looking for Kendrick? If you don't give a satisfactory answer, then don't blame us for killing you both!"

"He invited me to come!" Alena showed me the letter she got from Kendirck. Luckily he brought the letter, he did it just in case. The villagers whispered, the servant took the letter that Alena showed.

"Kendrick asked me to come. If not, I know there is this village and I also can't come especially when I know if this village is a cursed village."

"It turns out that way, forgive us," by itself, the villagers surrounding Alena and Amy dispersed themselves. Amy looked relieved, she was really afraid of being caught by the villagers and made into a collision or anything unpleasant.

"Where can I meet Kendrick?" ask Alena.

"Come with me" the waiter asked.

Amy and Alena follow the waiter's steps, somewhere they'll be taken but they walk far enough away until they finally arrive at a fairly large building. Their horses were tied back up, they went inside and the building was sort of a place to house people affected by deadly diseases.

Alena and Amy are taken to a room where she can meet a man named Kendrick. An old man wearing a white robe was busy serving the sick and he was Kendrick.

"Kendrick, someone came looking for you," when he heard that, the old man named Kendrick turned around and looked happy when he saw Alena. Vaguely, Alena also seemed to get a little memory of Ernest for the old man.

"Ernest, you're finally here" Kendrick was so happy that what he was waiting for finally came.

"Kendrick?" Alena pretended to call not to be suspected.

"Wait a minute, I'll see you when I'm done with my job" Kendrick asked.

"Alright, there is no need to rush" said Alena.

Someone is ordered by Kendrick to escort Alena and Amy to rest while waiting for him. They were taken to a room and drinks were made for both of them.

"Why did he ask you to come to this village, princess?" ask Amy.

"I don't know, Amy. We'll see, now we can just wait."

"Alright, hopefully our journey is not in vain" said Amy.

"Why does the princess think so?" ask Amy.

"It's just a guess, let's see if my guess is correct or not."

"The princess said it was very true, we should not touch this drink" Amy said, fearing it was poisonous.

"Yeah, we'll wait, '" he's sure there's an important message Kendrick's trying to convey because he's seen anyway, kendrick is a doctor in Westtrink village and he guesses that Kendrick is a doctor sent by the Holy Order to treat villagers who are suffering from a deadly disease. They waited long enough for Kendrick to enter the room in a hurry.

"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting, Ernest" the old man said as he sat in front of Alena.

"No problem, Kendrick. Now tell me, why did you ask me to come to this village?" ask Alena.

"It's not the first time I've asked you to come, Ernest. I asked you to come by then but you didn't come when I sent you a letter. What's going on?" as Alena expected, it was indeed the man who sent a letter to Ernest and Ernest intended to go see her but she instead got misfortune so unexpected events should they both experience.

"That night I had a bad thing, Kendrick. I'm sorry that the unexpected has held me back from meeting you."

"That night the Princess was confronted by a group of people who thought she was a witch" Amy said.

"It seems that the issue of you being a witch is becoming more and more widespread. I even heard you sucked a woman's blood while she was dry and ate her heart at a hunting event."

"It was so fast that's why I couldn't move around so recklessly" Alena said.

"I know you must have your own calculations, Ernest. Now that you're here, it's time I give you that thing" Kendrick moved on, and took something from the closet.

"What do you want to give me, Kendrick?" alena asked to know.

"I don't know because the thing in this box is a secret item sent by the sacred order to you. Only you can see what's in it, so I can only give it to your hand" Kendrick put a box on the table.

"Because I have a duty in this village, therefore the leader of the Holy Order entrusts this box to you and now, I have given it to you. I hope you don't lose it" the box was pushed closer to Alena.

Amy and Alena look at each other, it turns out that they are right. There was a message that Kendrick would give and finally, their arrival was not in vain.

"Remember, Ernest. Don't lose it because I've heard that the box contains important information about who the witch is that you're dealing with."

"Thank you, Kendrick. I won't disappoint."

"Now my job to deliver that message is done. I have to go back to work to treat the sick villagers."

"Thank you again" Alena had already picked up the box and wrapped it in a cloth.

Alena and Amy decide to leave because there's nothing they're doing anymore in that place. They even covered their heads using a cloth but when they were out there, the two of them regained the gazes of the villagers there were even some of the villagers were eyeing them.
