Lucius has been escorted to his resting place. The man stood in front of the window with a look of eyes looking out. The servant personally approached the prince to give him a prepared drink.
"Your drink, Prince."
Lucius, turn. The glass was taken but he looked out the window where the servants were busy preparing the banquet.
"The girl we met on the street, do you still remember her?" ask Lucius.
"Of course, My Lord. Do you want me to look for him?" ask the waiter.
"Yes, I want you to look for it but let no one know!" lucius' orders.
"Good, Milord. I will but be ready, soon a banquet to welcome your arrival will be held!"
Lucius nodded, the girl he met on the road hopefully could be found by his men. I don't know why he was curious and wanted to see her again. Perhaps the ability possessed by the girl, to be honest he had never seen her even in his palace.
But somehow he felt the stature of the girl he met on the street was a little similar to Ernest's daughter who was known by people as a loser. Princess Ernest does look like a loser, to show her face alone is not brave. There is no point in thinking about that useless loser, even if he has a beautiful face but still, a loser is still a loser.
His arrival this time was not only to establish good relations with Kent Arsia but also to provide a party invitation for the two daughters of king Leon and queen Hana. He hoped Ernest wouldn't come, to be honest he didn't like any losers present at his royal party. For him it was embarrassing, it could even be a commotion at a party later.
Surely Alena did not mind that, nor did she care. Even he was more happy not to leave let alone there was nowhere safe other than his room. Agnes who got the task to make medicine immediately returned after hearing the rumour in the kitchen. The princess should know this, therefore she should convey it to the princess.
Agnes looked around, as she entered into the room. Let no one hear what he has to say to the princess. Amy is helping the princess tidying up her appearance, the princess must be ready before the banquet takes place.
"Daughter, there's something important that I want to discuss with you" said Agnes but in a soft tone.
"What's up, Agnes. Why are you in such a hurry?"
"Did the princess forget? It's the eleventh, now" replied Agnes.
"Then? What happened to the eleven?" ask Alana wonder.
"Did the princess really forget? Soon the fifteenth and on that date a cult will surely take place and someone will definitely be a victim."
"Yes, Princess. Because it was so that the princess was accused of being a witch."
"Wow, I forgot about it. Tell me what happened before. I remember you saying the victim would die dry and his blood would not exist. Please explain, I want to hear it."
"Listen to me, Princess. Every night of the fifteenth, there would be a cult ritual performed by a heretical sect. No one knows who is doing and no one knows what time it is but for sure, every morning after the fifteenth must have found a victim of a young woman who had dried up with a heart that was not there" explained Amy.
"Every night of the fifteenth day no one dared to come out but there was once a soldier who said if he saw the perpetrator who performed the ritual it was a very beautiful woman. Therefore the issue if Princess Ernest is a witch began to spread," explained Agnes.
"If so, isn't it the soldier who spread slander first?" ask Alena.
"No, Princess. The king had already called the soldier in for questioning but he said he did not know. She did see but she did not say if it was Ernest's daughter ."
"Interesting" said Alena.
"What's so interesting, Princess?" ask Amy and Agnes.
"Interesting, really. I can't wait for the fifteen date to come quickly. Maybe I could just meet the culprit."
"Don't princess, you'd better stay inside the palace to avoid slander!" said Amy.
"No need to worry, I'm silent and I'll still be a suspect because people already think of me as a witch. I'd rather look for clues than hide out of fear because that's why there's no need to worry and Agnes, did you see the killer who was going to kill you last night?"
"Sorry, Princess. Her face is invisible because it's partly covered but if the voice I remember."
"Drink the cure first, Princess. Just so you don't faint" Agnes gave the medicine she just made to the princess.
The medicine was immediately spent, Ernest's physique would definitely recover soon and not be weak anymore if he did not take the medicine from the queen mother. He was sure all along that medicine had made Ernest weak. Someone who was sent to call Ernest had already come, the princess and her two servants rushed out.
Arabella was already at the banquet place and looked amazingly beautiful. The king and queen were there, as was Lucius. The look in his eyes could not be separated from the loser who had just come, Alena lowered her head, hopefully not caught. Amy looked down, just like Ernest she was afraid of being discovered.
"Why so long, Ernest. Are you not feeling well?" ask the queen mother.
"Sorry, Mother. I'm a little dizzy, ' Ernest lied.
Prince Lucius was surprised, this voice? His eyes turned less and less away from Alena. No way, it must be just a coincidence. The loser who could not do anything was impossible as he had expected at this moment.
"Please forgive our Princess, Prince. Ernest did have a weak physique" said King Leon.
"There's no need to think about what King Leon started, I don't have a problem with it."
"Thank you for the prince's generosity. Ernest, apologize now!" the king's orders.
"I'm sorry, Prince," Alena bowed, with both hands on the left side.
"Please forgive my sister, Prince," Arabella moved from her seat to represent her sister.
"Here you go, Princess Ernest did nothing so there's no need to be like that" Lucius said.
"Thank you" Arabella bowed. Ernest bowed before he sat down.
The banquet began, musical entertainment was heard. Not only the prince who is entertained but his followers are also entertained. Arabella spoke to the prince, which was what she wanted while Alena looked down and was silent. Amy and Agnes remained faithfully standing behind the princess, they were afraid that someone might attack Ernest's daughter all of a sudden.
"Daughter, don't you want to join the Arabella princess who's talking to the prince?" ask Agnes.
"No, I can be found out. We'd better take a good look, if there's anything suspicious in this place or not"
Amy and Agnes nodded. They seem alert. Alena looked around, she could feel that someone was watching her. Alena looked to the right, then to the left. I don't know who was looking at him who must have been the gaze he got was not a pleasant one.
Agnes who was looking around also accidentally heard a familiar voice and it was the voice of the assassin who was about to kill her last night. He still remembered that voice, he would never forget. Agnes turned, looking at a waiter who was putting down a drink. Agnes looked at the waiter long enough to make the waiter realize the look in his eyes.
The waiter left in a hurry, and the waiter looked at Agnes once in a while. Somehow he felt that not the servant of princess Ernest saw him endlessly. Agnes was convinced, not wrong anymore. He can't be wrong.
"Daughter, I just saw that hit man" whispered Agnes.
"What, where?" ask Alena.
"He just left" replied Agnes.
"Cursue!" alena said as she moved.
"I mean princess?" Amy and Agnes don't understand.
"We have to catch him because he could've given us a clue!" Alena had already stepped away from the dining table that she had left.
"Daughter, wait!" pinta his two servants followed.
Alena slipped away among the guests and also the officials who were enjoying such a festive banquet. The King and Queen were unaware of his disappearance but the prince Lucius who was chatting with the king accidentally saw the departure of the princess who was considered a loser with suspicious gestures.
