The flowers taken by Alena were still in Lucius' hands. She should have given the flower to Alena but she she left in a hurry as well as Ernest.
It was far enough for the troops to walk away from the hunting arena. Ernest was in his chariot and so was Princess Arabella. Really a hunting event that leaves an unpleasant impression. A few servants who were walking quite far from the king and queen were whispering about Ernest's daughter. Surely in a quiet voice so that no king and queen could hear.
Because the unexpected incident also left rumors that will further aggravate the situation and people who consider Ernest as a witch will certainly increasingly consider him so.
Lucius who was in front, took his horse slowly. The flowers that Ernest picked up were on his horse. He had to give the flower to Ernest. Princess Arabella who was pensive and looking at the scene accidentally saw the prince Lucius. It seemed like he could have the man talking on the way back.
"A very nice flower, Prince," said the princess Arabella.
"Thank you, princess Arabella. This flower I found not far from the tent," she said. Let no one know if Ernest took the flower because he was worried that Ernest could get punishment from king Leon.
"Well, why don't you ask me to pick it up?" ask Arabella.
"I'm sorry, I don't know if you like flowers."
"All women love flowers, Prince. I like it so much, can I have it?" ask Arabella. He hoped Lucius would give some of the flowers on his horse.
"I'm sorry, this flower isn't for anyone."
"really? Are you gonna take him back to the palace?"
"That's how, I'll bring her back" Lucius lied when he wanted to return the flower to Ernest.
"Well, what do you want to talk in my carriage, Prince?"
"Sorry, Princess. I can't. There's something I need to do, so I'll take my leave first!" Lucius turned his horse, this time he headed for Ernest's carriage which was at the back. Arabella was not suspicious, but she looked back at the scene thinking that she would invite Prince Lucius to tea together. Before the man returned to his palace, he should be able to get closer to him so that at the party, Prince Lucius would ask him to dance.
"I want to take the Prince to tea, what do you think?" arabella asked her personal servant.
"That's a very good idea, Princess. Invite the Prince to tea while enjoying the moonlight."
"All right, great idea. Hopefully by doing so, I can get even closer to the Prince," Arabella smiled, she grew impatient inviting the prince so they could spend some time together.
Lucius who was already on the side of Alena's carriage, knocked on the carriage slowly. Alena immediately opened the cloth that covered the small window that was on the carriage and was shocked when a flower sprig was suddenly in plain sight. Alena was surprised to find the prince Lucius who gave the flower.
"What does this mean, Prince?" alena asked while taking the flowers given by Prince Lucius.
"The flower is like you, beautiful yet thorny!" lucius.
"No thorns," Alena looked at the flower closely.
"Not in the flower but in the tree."
"Why can I be like this flower?" alena did not understand.
"Yeah, this flower is beautiful but it should grow on a rock. Flowers that do not require a lot of water but are beautiful. That's how you are, you're quiet without the need to show yourself but in fact you're like this flower, so beautiful."
"You're very good at seducing, Prince. Thank you," Alena kissed the flower in hand and smiled.
"I'm not seducing but you're forgetting something" the prince gave Ernest the flower he left behind.
"Your, Ernest. I'm the center of attention because of that."
"Oh, I forgot about it. I thought you had thrown it away, sorry to bother you, Prince," Ernest picked up the flowers Lucius had given him. The waiters who saw it started whispering. They thought that Lucius was giving flowers to Esnest and they started gossiping about the prince Lucius who liked a witch. They talked about it secretly so as not to be heard.
"I can't throw it away, Ernest. You took it with great difficulty so I couldn't possibly throw it away."
"Thank you, I took this flower for my mother in exchange for the rabbit I promised at the time but I just failed to catch it."
"No, Prince. I don't want to trouble you!"
"Alright but next time don't hesitate to tell me!"
"Thank you" Alena smiled and kissed the flower in hand.
Prince Lucius took the horse slowly, a return journey that was not boring. There was much he wanted to talk about, but he could not talk about it in that place.
The servants were still talking about them, they started to make the issue that Ernest had bewitched Prince Lucius so that prince Lucius would like him. What a princess who does not know herself when Princess Ernest knows if Princess Arabella keeps her heart on Prince Lucius. Those who did not like Ernest even more hated Ernest because of the news.
The trumpet stop sign sounded, the king and queen's horse carriage stopped until everything stopped. They will rest for a while before continuing their journey. Ernest peeked out, while the two servants who were in the carriage immediately got off.
"What's wrong?" asked Ernest who still saw the soldiers were busy as well as the servants.
"Time to rest, Ernest. Do you want to go find a rabbit in this forest with me?" ask Lucius.
"Sorry, Prince. I'm going to give this flower to Mother Queen."
"Alright, then I'll go back to my army."
"Thank you, Prince!"
Lucius took his horse away, returned to his pack while Ernest got off the carriage assisted by Amy.
"Do you want something to drink, Princess?" ask Amy.
"No, I want to give this flower to Mother first but prepare a snack and tea for me. I'll enjoy it when I get back."
"Okay, Princess," Amy and Agnes replied.
Alena stepped towards the chariot of the king and queen, where Arabella was already there. Arabella wanted to discuss her intentions with the king and queen regarding her plan to invite Prince Lucius to tea. He also wanted to know when the Prince would return to Kenneth's kingdom.
"Mother, Ernest came to meet Mother" said Ernest who was outside the train.
"Come in, Ernest" said his mother.
Ernest went inside, Arabella was surprised to see the flower in Ernest's hand. Isn't that the flower that Prince Lucius brought? Why was the flower now in Ernest's hands?
"Honor to Mother and Father" said Alena while saluting.
"Come here, Mother has just sent someone to call you."
"I want to give this flower to Mother as the rabbit I promised" Ernest stepped closer and gave the flower to his mother.
"Well, what a beautiful flower. Where'd you get it from?" ask mother.
"I found her not far from the tent," Ernest sat down by her mother's side, while Arabella stared at him with a meaningful gaze.
Is it true that Ernest picked up the flower near the tent? But how did the flower get to be in the hands of Prince Lucius?
"Thank you, honey. Very beautiful flowers."
"May Mother be pleased."
"Of course" the queen mother gave a kiss on her daughter's forehead then looked at the flower with a delighted expression.
Arabella smiled meaningfully but a feeling of jealousy filled her heart.
