Agnes The Suspicious

As night falls, Lucius and Bastian are disguised as bodyguards. They transformed themselves like strangers so that no one would recognize them while inside the palace of Kent Arsia. They would pretend to be knights unintentionally assisted by Ernest and decide to return the favor by following Ernest.

Lucius looked different, and so did Bastian. Although Bastian will not show himself and will be a shadow bodyguard who guards from hidden places but he still has to disguise himself. It was the most appropriate choice for him to be able to take care of Ernest.

Their position was also not far from the palace, they waited for the night to get late where the guard was not too tight and at that time they would enter the palace.

"What about my appearance, Ernest? Can you still recognize me?" ask Lucius.

"It's so dark, Prince. Just looking at your eyebrows is hard!"

Lucius chuckled and pulled Alena closer. As always, the attitude is cold and what it is but that's what he likes.

They immediately slipped in through the secret passage. Amy walks in front after Lucius and is overtaken by Alena. Bastian also followed but they would not follow Ernest up to his room. Amy escorts Lucius and Bastian to a room they can occupy that night. Tomorrow, Ernest plans to introduce them to the king and queen as his bodyguards.

As Amy drives them, Alena returns to her room alone. Agnes was already asleep when Alena went into the room. Alena entered snuggly and when the door closed, Agnes was shocked and picked up the knife she had always hidden.

"Who's there?" ask Agnes.

"It's me, Agnes!"

"Daughter, is that you?" Agnes took a lamp and stepped closer to Alena.

"Yeah, it's me!"

"Daughter, I'm so glad you're back!" Agnes hugged him and cried.

"I'm really worried about you, Princess. I'm afraid you won't come back."

"Thank you for worrying about me. I must be back, I'm just worried about you being here."

"I'm fine but where's Amy, why isn't she back with you?"

"She's saving things, she'll catch up, later" Alena noticed Agnes' facial expression as she said that. The waiter seemed silent, like he was thinking about something but not for long because Agnes was already smiling.

"I'm glad the princess and Amy can come back safely. Now tell me, is the Princess about to drink something?"

"Of course, make me something warm!"

"Well, princess," Agnes helps Alena remove her robe first and prepares water to wash her face. Alena watched Agnes' movements seriously, the servant's attitude was ordinary and did not look suspicious at all.

"What about your journey?" ask Agnes to Amy.

"It's fun" replied Agnes. Agnes's eyes could not be separated from the things Amy was carrying and she looked suspicious. Amy pulled out something, it was a snack she bought from a neighboring village.

"This is for you, Agnes. I bought it from a neighboring village" Amy said.

"Thank you, you've come back to make me happy!"

"Amy, keep those things as good as possible. Let no one know!" alena's orders.

"Well, Princess!" Amy took the stuff she put down earlier to keep it to safety according to the order. Agnes noticed, Alena noticed.

"Agnes, massage my legs for a moment" Alena said. He did it to distract.

"Well, Princess," Agnes approached Alena who was already lying on the bed. As he had expected, the entire palace would definitely change when he returned. Maybe her brother will change too, maybe the king and queen will change and she will know tomorrow.

Agnes massaged the princess' feet, there was no suspicious attitude she showed. Alena spoke as usual. That night it turned out that someone was watching them from a hidden place of course it was the queen's spy who was always ordered to watch near Ernest's room.

Although it was late, the spy went to report that Ernest's daughter had returned to the queen because she had already received an order to report immediately if she saw Ernest and Amy had returned. The sleeping queen awoke when the spy came to bring her news.

"Sorry to interrupt your break, Queen," the spy was quite far away because the woman called the queen was wearing a thin dress with a man sleeping by her side.

"What news did you bring me?"

"Daughter Ernest and his servant are back!" report the real spy was the archer of the time.

"Good, did you see the stuff they were carrying? Is the box on them?"

"Of course, Queen. The box is with them. Do you want me to take the box?"

The woman called the queen looked satisfied, that thing she would definitely get tonight and the secret would still be safe.

The sent eyes had returned to lurk where Ernest's daughter was going to sleep. Amy and Agnes were already going to sleep. Good, the box will be available soon.

"Did something happen to you in the palace, Agnes?" ask Amy.

"No, nothing happened. I'm fine, you better get some rest. You must be tired so get some rest!" said Agnes.

"I'm so glad you're okay!" Amy hugged him, she was really relieved nothing bad happened to Agnes.

Amy fell asleep quickly, and so did Alena because they were so tired. Agnes who was awake from earlier also moved carefully because she was about to do the action. Amy did not realize, Agnes had already moved to her destination. He had to get what he was told and he had to do it. A box was already in sight, he finally got it without difficulty and the spy who was lurking was very satisfied.
