Ernest was taken to his room and laid on the bed. The King and Queen were in her daughter's room as well as Arabella. The queen was crying, they were waiting for the royal physician who was checking on Ernest.
Amy and Agnes were also crying by the side of the room, they should not have let Ernest's daughter out. It must have been the scorching sun that had made the already weak princess state fall unconscious. Even though Ernest's daughter did not look weak again after the terrible incident that night but why did she become weak again?
"What are you guys doing so Princess Ernest can be like this?" king Leon asked his daughters' servants.
"We've prevented Her Majesty, but the Princess still wants to leave" Amy replied.
"Don't have many reasons, you've failed to look after my daughter so you'll be punished with a behead!"
"No, please don't do that, Your Majesty," Amy and Agnes pleaded.
"Daddy, it's all my fault" Arabella fell to her knees under her father's feet, "I took Ernest without seeing the situation first. I was by her side but I was negligent as a sister so she had to experience this so don't punish them but just punish me" she pleaded.
"Wake up, don't kneel like that" his father said.
"What made Ernest this? He looked fine at the tea ceremony. But why did it get worse like this?" the queen cried sobbing, powerless to hold back the sadness of her heart.
"Ernest must be fine, Mother," comfort Arabella.
The palace doctor tried to find out what the disease suffered by Ernest but the doctor at that time did not have a sophisticated tool that could detect the disease easily but he got if there was a level of poison in the blood Ernest.
"The princess has just been poisoned, Your Majesty," said the doctor after examining what happened to Ernest's daughter.
"Poisons? Who would dare poison my daughter?" king Leon shouted loudly.
"How is it possible? Who poisoned him?" ask the queen.
"You two, what did you give my daughter?" King Leon yells back at Amy and Agnes.
"We're not giving you anything, Your Majesty. Princess eat as usual, we always taste the food that the Princess will enjoy first" replied Amy.
"Yes, Your Majesty. All the food that the princess will eat we will definitely check," Javan Agnes as well.
"If so, what made him poisoned?" the king looked angry.
"Food in the garden, has it been checked?" ask the queen mother.
"Right, Ernest sat in the garden for a while as I plucked the dandelion flowers. Maybe he ate something in the park" Arabella said.
"If so check it out immediately!" shouted the King.
Some soldiers immediately rushed to execute the order. Amy and Agnes looked at each other with overwhelming fear. Lest they be beheaded by the king because they know nothing of the poison consumed by Princess Ernest.
The king who knew was certainly very angry, the order to find out who put the poison was issued. There will be no apology for the crimes committed by the perpetrators who put poison in the tea. Amy and Agnes are a little relieved, at least they are not suspects but the situation of Ernest's daughter is very concerning.
The suspicion of poison present in tea is very strong because the reaction of poison is usually very fast. Arabella also gave an explanation when she met Ernest in the room, Ernest did not look so good but it was because his physical body was already weak. They did walk quite a distance until they were in the park. Because Ernest's weak physique was certainly vulnerable to sunlight, therefore he did not look so healthy and so Ernest sat in a place that had been provided for him, accidentally Ernest drank a poisonous tea that was prepared for him let alone the poison only found in the tea in the glass belonging to Ernest's daughter. that is the initial conclusion but all will be re-examined.
"Who has so much heart for you, Ernest," the queen mother, who was sitting by the bed, held her daughter's hand. Ernest's face looked so pale, he was yet unconscious.
"Don't cry, Mother. Now the situation is better even though he is not aware," said Arabella.
"Didn't you see anything strange around you, Arabella?" ask mother.
"Nothing, Mother. Some of the officials' daughters did speak ill of Ernest but there was no way anyone would dare to put poison blatantly. Me and some of the official's daughters did go to enjoy the dandelion flowers leaving Ernest and his two servants but I'm sure it wasn't them because they had been with Ernest for so long so they couldn't possibly poison Ernest especially in the open" explained Arabella.
The king and queen looked at Amy and Agnes. Some of the bodyguards had even prepared with their weapons as they would catch Amy and Agnes if they were to get an order.
"It's not us, Your Majesty. We did accompany Ernest's daughter but we didn't!" Amy and Agnes fell to their knees and were terrified, "We didn't do it" they said.
"Before this is clear, it is better not to accuse. We better find the truth first" said the queen.
"We really didn't do it, Your Majesty the Queen."
"Already, now take good care of Ernest. I trust you but if you betray my trust, not only will you get the death penalty but your entire family will get the death penalty!" said the queen.
"We will not betray, Queen."
"If so stand up, take good care of Ernest and from now on you must check all the food that Ernest will consume!" the queen's orders.
"We'll do it" Amy and Agnes replied.
Queen Hana moved but her eyes could not be separated from her daughter Ernest who was lying weak. It was heartless to see the state of his daughter like that, he hoped that Ernest would soon wake up and improve. Amy and Agnes are asked to take good care of Ernest because the king and queen go to investigate who has put poison on the tea in the garden.
Arabella was asked to calm herself down inside her room, some of the officials' daughters who were with them were frightened because they could be suspects for what happened. The state of the palace regained its calm after the incident but cries were heard from Ernest's room as Amy and Agnes wept over their daughter's state.
I don't know who put the poison in the tea, which must have been the man who was planning to kill Ernest. Amy and Agnes did not even see Ernest drinking it. They are panicking and scared right now. They felt that they were negligent and they thought that the princess was drinking the tea while they were upset with the officials' daughters who spoke ill of Ernest's daughter.
"I'm sorry, Princess. We shouldn't have allowed you to drink that tea carelessly" Amy said.
"Right, if we knew I would have tried to replace you so you wouldn't have experienced this" Agnes said. If they saw Princess Ernest enjoying the tea, they would have prevented it but would it?
Amy and Agnes felt so guilty, they were still crying. Twice, they had to look at the state of princess Ernest being on the edge of death and this time poison. Who really wanted to kill the princess? They hoped that the king could find the culprit who put the poison so that justice could be done for the princess who always get unfair treatment.
