The Rise Of The Queen Ernest

The Rise Of The Queen Ernest
Issues That Are Getting Worse

Lucius had already arrived at Kenneth's palace, the return of the prince was greeted with great fanfare by his subjects. They were very happy to see the prince back in good shape. It was because the prince went to the kingdom where a witch was. Of course, the issue has spread to several palaces and they believe that Ernest is a witch.

Lucius was welcomed by his parents and his sweet brother. They were very happy Lucius was back in good condition but indeed the victim by the witch was a woman.

"Sister!" thirteen-year-old Alicia's daughter ran towards her brother who had already jumped down from the horse.

"Hey, this sweet sister has she become a good boy?" Lucius held his sweet sister.

"Sister, I've been afraid that you're not coming back because of the witch" Alicia said.

"No witch, it's just an issue" Lucius said.

"really? But many say there is an evil witch who will eat people's hearts" Alicia said innocently.

"That's it, don't be trusted because the witch doesn't exist!"

"But big brother, everyone said the witch was Ernest's daughter. Is my sister not afraid?"

"More trust in my words or the words of others?" lucius asked his brother.

"Fore trust in my brother!" Alicia hugged her sister tightly.

"What about the journey, Lucius?" ask mother.

"As you can see, I'm back and I'm fine."

"All right, rest first. We'll talk about it again" his father said.

Lucius nodded, Alicia was still inside his carriage. Something he bought while in the neighboring village was given to his sweet sister. King James William and Queen Eliza William followed their son. Items given by King Leon and Queen Hana were brought into the palace. They would talk to Lucius after their son had rested.

"Go enjoy the sweets you get, brother wants a short rest" said Lucius while lowering his sister from the sling.

"Did Alicia not get another gift?" ask brother.

"There, but later."

"Alright, brother. Alicia left first," the adorable sister immediately ran away carrying the sweets her brother had just given her.

Lucius went into his room, followed by his faithful servant. The robe he was wearing was released, Bastian picked it up quickly.

"The one who will be Ernest's daughter who is a witch is just getting wider Prince," Bastian said.

"You're right, it looks like it was the hunting incident that made the issue spread even more quickly. That issue really harmed Ernest!"

"You're right, Prince. This issue really harms Ernest's daughter and I'm worried?" Bastian stopped his words.

"What are you worried about?" Lucius turned, looking towards Bastian.

"Hamba is worried that Ernest's daughter will not be accepted by the people at the dance, Prince," Bastian said.

Lucius seemed to think, what Bastian said was very true. Do not let Ernest be stoned by his people and expelled by the people cruelly because they already believe the issue if Ernest's daughter is a witch.

"What do you think, Bastian? What happened in the tent was deliberately done by the perpetrator because not only to worsen the image of Ernest in the kingdom of Kent Arsia but also to worsen his image in other kingdoms so that the issue if he was a witches are getting heard by the crowd?"

"That's prince?" bastian did not understand.

"You're absolutely right, Prince," Bastian said. One bad incident that night really gave Ernest bad thoughts for many people.

"Now I suspect that the real traitor is in Kent Arsia's palace."

"Why does the Prince think so?"

"I'm just guessing. The perpetrator really wanted to destroy Ernest's image so that he would be hated by everyone and so that he could not come to the dance. This party invites a lot of people and don't you know, at the feast my father asked me to find an empress so the feast would be attended by many princesses from other kingdoms as well as the daughters of officials and possible perpetrators who slandered Ernest did not want he's at the party!"

"What did it do?" Bastian did not dare to continue his words.

"I'm also suspicious but chances are so much because no one likes Ernest so don't guess!"

"Good, Prince. What are you gonna do now? If the people could not accept Ernest's daughter, wouldn't she be able to attend the dance later? Didn't the Prince have to prevent her from coming?"

"For that, I need your help. Send a message to Ernest, tell him if I want to meet him under a big tree that's two days away when the moon is overhead. Don't make mistakes and let no one know about it!" lucius' orders.

"Well, Prince," Bastian withdrew, out of Lucius' room.

Lucius stood in front of his bedroom window, the situation getting more difficult due to the unpleasant issue. Ernest will get a woe if he comes to his palace. Not only Ernest, Arabella who came with him will get hurt. The people would definitely not want any magician to enter the palace. For that he had to meet with Ernest, hopefully Ernest received a letter sent by Bastian and wanted to see him.

After resting for a while and changing clothes, Lucius came out of his room as he was called to dinner.  His father and mother have been waiting for his sweet sister as well. The few days of Lucius' departure made them long for their time together like that.

"Sister, sit down quickly. All my sister's favorite foods. If it's not fast then Alicia will spend it!" shout Alicia.

"Alicia, a princess can't be like that!" queen Eliza said.

"Ups, sorry Mother," said Alicia while showing her wide smile.

"How was the kingdom of Kent Arsia, was it so much fun?" ask the queen mother.

"Sure, they welcomed me very well. King Leon and Queen Hana were also very good and wise leaders."

"We're happy to hear about her and about her witch daughter?" queen Eliza stopped her words.

"Did you invite him, Lucius?" ask his father anyway.

"That's just an issue, Dad. Ernest isn't a witch like people say!"

"But we've heard what's going on in the tent when you go hunting. We heard in Ernest's tent the body of a woman with a dry condition and a heart that came out of his chest. We also heard witnesses who saw Princess Ernest worshiping the devil before stabbing the woman's heart and drinking her blood to the ground and having her heart removed for food. Frankly, Lucius. I, as the queen of this kingdom, do not want any witch to enter our Palace!"

"Mother, I told you it's just an issue because that's not what's going on!" he had expected Ernest's image to get worse due to widespread issues and the mouth of irresponsible people. The real magician was really clever, he could hide and live comfortably whereas Ernest was affected by it. There's actually a reason and a purpose for what did the perpetrator do that? There must be a grudge or hatred for Ernest so the perpetrator slandered Ernest but what?

"Think about it, Lucius. Even if you say it's just an issue, but everything in our palace increasingly considers it a witch so be careful about acting. Our royal relationship with the Kent kingdom of Arsia is very good so do not let the royal relationship that has gone well to be destroyed because of a witch that you invited into the dance. Don't be stubborn and make the decision at will, after all there's no way you want to take Ernest to be your wife so you still want her to come, right?" king James looked towards his son with a serious expression.

"I know what you mean, father. Don't worry, I know what I'm doing!"

"Good, I believe you!" said king James.

"Once, we'll talk about it later. Now we eat first" Queen Eliza took food for her husband first before taking food for her daughter.

Lucius had not touched the food at all, he knew what his father and mother meant. Nor did he force them to believe. Indeed the issue and what happened in the tent has scared everyone let alone events that have actually been given a lot of spice like the story that his mother heard. It wasn't easy to clear Ernest's name with words alone because no one would believe it and the only way to clear Ernest's name was to find the real culprit. Surely he knew, it was not easy especially if he suspected that there were people in the palace involved.
