Arabella immediately rushed towards the courtroom as the crowd was already there. Ernest, who looked weak from the poisonous medicine, was already in the room and sitting next to the queen mother. His face looked pale, he looked limp as well. The ministers and officials present were whispering, what else did the witch do? Why not just die? That's what's on their minds.
The court physician was already in the courtroom, as was the maid of the queen mother. Enough with the simple way to uncover the case because the culprit is likely only two people. If not the physician means the servant. Therefore he needed the role of Ernest who had consumed the poisonous drug.
Arabella who had arrived immediately rushed to the king and queen, she was even surprised to see her brother's state that looked helpless at the side of the queen mother. Arabella ran to see her sister's situation was very alarming.
"What happened to Ernest, Mother?" ask Arabella.
"Your sister is like this after taking her medicine" said the queen mother.
"What?" Arabella was shocked, as was everything in the room.
"You see my daughter's condition?" king Leon shouted, "I know some of you don't like my daughter so much that you want to kill her because of the witch's issue but I've sworn to punish whoever has dared to hurt and who has saying bad about my daughter even if it's my general!" king Leon said, looking at his general.
All lowered their heads, no one dared to make a sound. They even look at each other, some of them look afraid of course those who are allied with their queen.
"Your Majesty, I think this case must be brought out so that no one else dares to do evil to Ernest's daughter" said the general.
"As you say, General. I did want to investigate this case so I gathered you all here. Bring me the medicine in front of me!" the king's orders while raising his hand.
Some of the soldiers brought the concoction of medicine and put it before the king. Not only concoct the drug, hot water used to concoct the drug was placed together near the drug.
"Every time Ernest finished taking the medicine, he would definitely spit out blood and then faint. At that time we thought he had tea poisoning in the garden but this morning, he was like this after taking his medicine!" king Leon advanced forward, the ministers and officials looked towards the frightened palace healer and immediately knelt down on the floor.
"Your Majesty, the medicine was indeed me who concocted but I always concocted it with the proper medicines" said the palace physician.
"If it's not you, then you don't have to be afraid!" said the king.
"Now, go make the medicine!" the queen mother orders her personal servant.
The waiter nodded, though, luckily it wasn't him who made the potion this morning but the new maid who was sent by the queen mother but in fact it was the queen mother's stratagem and the medicine that Ernest was taking wasn't the poisonous drug because the one that was drunk by Princess Ernest was a kind of red drink that prince Lucius had brought when he came to visit.
The servant made a medicinal herb but not one because the king ordered the servant to make two bowls. He wanted to see who the real culprit who put poison by testing his two confidants.
The two medicinal bowls were finished, the servant was still kneeling without daring to go anywhere and at that moment, the servant was still on his knees without daring to go anywhere, king Leon asked his trusted healer to come forward and take one of the medicine bowls while the one was taken by the maid of the queen mother.
"What does this mean, your majesty?" ask the doctor and the waiter.
"I've ordered a spy to spy on who the real culprit is and of course I already know. I just wonder if you guys dare to be honest or not so now take that medicine!" king Leon's orders.
"What's? No, your majesty, I don't want to!" shouted the maid of the queen mother.
"No, are you the one who has stored poison in the medicine so you're afraid to take it?" ask the king.
"If you don't want to drink it then I'll assume that you're the mastermind who has deposited poison into the medicine!"
"No, your honor, no. Not me!" the servant knelt and was frightened but because of the words of the king made the physician immediately gulp the medicine until it ran out.
"I have drunk it to the end, Your Majesty. So I'm not the one!" said the physician.
"Well, you were really good at taking that medicine without hesitation. You really proved that you weren't the culprit."
"I really didn't do it, your majesty, I couldn't possibly betray your majesty let alone harm Ernest's daughter!" said the physician.
"I'm glad to hear it, but do you know?" king Leon stepped closer to the physician and patted him on the shoulder, "You know the medicine is not poisonous and you dare to drink it, don't you?" the king said again.
"What?" the physician was surprised to hear what the king said.
"Bring it out!" now the king brought the real medicine out and put it to the side of the original medicine concoction. Everything is very similar there is nothing different because of the poison in the form of a red fiber taken from poisonous flowers that can only be obtained from the east.
"Check that!" king Leon's orders to another physician.
The physician fell to his knees, and the bowl in his hand fell down and broke. It turned out that he had fallen into the trap of King Leon and the servant who knew nothing about the medicine was of course afraid to drink it. Woe, cold sweat was now flowing on his forehead.
King Leon returned with a medicine bowl, but now a different medicine. Surely it was a poisonous medicine made by the healer because he wanted to have the healer drink it so that he would know what it was like after taking the medicine.
"This is the medicine you're making, now drink!" king Leon's Order.
"No, your honor. Not me," denied the healer.
"Aren't you? Then tell me who ordered you to kill my daughter?" king Leon cried out in wrath.
The healer looked here and there, of course he got a lot of threatening gazes during the room. Spit in his mouth with great difficulty, he indeed had no other choice.
"Java!" shouted king Leon.
"Mother queen, all requests queen mother!" shouted the physician.
"What?" all were shocked to look towards the queen mother.
"How dare you accuse me?" the queen mother moved from her seat as well as Ernest who pretended to look helpless.
"I am a court physician who only obeys the queen and the king so the one who ordered me to put poison into the medicine was the queen mother!" said the physician.
Everything in the room became noisy, they saw the queen mother as a suspect because what the healer said was very true if the only ones who could order her were the king and the queen. But is what the healer said true? Was the queen mother really the mastermind who wanted the death of Ernest, her own daughter?
