The Luck of Prince Lucius

The weather was clear, suddenly changed. The moon that was shining brightly is no longer visible due to being covered by dark clouds. A cold wind blew but Alena still did not stop teaching her servants to play the sword. Thanks to their stealth training, Amy and Agnes were able to swing their swords and fend off attacks even though they were not very good.

In the end they stood on the lips of the cave, watching the rain being so heavy as they could not possibly return in the midst of such rain.

"I don't need it" Alena was about to remove Lucius's robe but the man held back his hand.

"Do you want a prince?" Alena shifted but prince Lucius pulled her waist.

"Daughter, we go first!" shouted Amy and Agnes who had run through the swift rain.

"What's? Traitors, don't leave me with him!" shout Alena.

"Watch your time, Princess!" shouted Agnes. Alena looked like a dazed person, her two servants actually ran over while laughing. They were deliberately trying to tease their daughter.

"How, Ernest? Don't you want to share a robe with me?" ask Lucius. The man smiled even though Alena was glaring with an unhappy look.

"If so, what are you waiting for!" Lucius also held the tip of his robe.

Alena and Lucius ran through the rain. Amy and Agnes have looked pretty far. Alena held one lamp so she had trouble running let alone she had to hold the end of the robe. The land they passed so slippery due to rain water, Alena who ran just accidentally tripped over the roots of an invisible tree.

Alena shouted, her body tilted forward. Both eyes were closed, he was about to fall but Lucius quickly caught his body.

"Are you okay, Ernest?" ask Lucius.

"Awhile" Alena looked for the root of the big tree and sat there. She felt her legs hurt a little, so Alena looked at her ankle that had just tripped over a tree root.

"It hurts a little but it's okay, let's get back on the road!" Alana was about to move but Lucius held back.

"Don't push yourself, Ernest. Your legs will swell if you force them to walk at this time. How can you go hunting later? The King and Queen will be suspicious of your circumstances so you better not push yourself!"

"Then, do you want to hold me back?" ask Alena.

"Good idea, get on my shoulder. I'll take you back!" Lucius had already turned around, turning his back to Alena.

Alena was silent, thinking about the words of prince Lucius. What the man said was absolutely true. If his legs swell, he will have difficulty doing activities. The King and Queen can be suspicious, lest he have no more freedom because there is much he must find out.

"Well, sorry to bother you!" Alena climbed onto Lucius' back, it felt so bad but she had no choice.

The lantern was already in his hands, Lucius carried it back to the palace. Amy and Agnes are waiting for them at the secret door. They looked anxious because the princess and the prince had not yet been seen. Due to the slippery road, Lucius had to tread carefully let alone he was holding Alena.

"As for the masquerade party that will be held in your palace, is it not a matter if I don't come?" ask Alena.

"Why, Ernest? I hope you and your brother come!" lucius. The man stepped as carefully as possible.

Alena is silent, even though everything is out of plan but if there is no man she will indeed have difficulties. Amy and Agnes who had been waiting looked happy to see them but they were surprised to see Ernest's daughter who was in the sling of Prince Lucius.

Amy goes in first to see the situation, Bastian who is already waiting for orders to help them to enter without being discovered. Alena was very grateful to Prince Lucius who had helped her, he said he would repay the man's kindness.

It was quite a long but pleasant night for Lucius as he was able to get closer to the mysterious Ernest and of course tonight he felt lucky.
