The Physician Trying to Defend Himself

King Leon was already seen wrathful because the queen suddenly became a suspect due to the words of the palace healers who were only allowed to obey their orders alone. The queen who became a suspect suddenly seemed calm, she should not panic let alone she was the queen of the kingdom.

Whispers began to be heard, talking about the queen mother who wanted to kill her own daughter. Surely the whispers make heart heat and ear heat.

"Shut up!" king Leon cried out in wrath.

"Silence all of you!" Arabella shouted and came forward.

"How dare you accuse the queen mother and how dare you speak ill of the queen of this land simply because of the words of a healer who is trying to defend himself?" king Leon was angry.

"We dare not your majesty," All kneeled on the floor and no one else dared to make a sound.

"You dare slander me, healer. What's your reason for doing that? Even if you can only get orders from us, that doesn't mean you can slander me as you please!" said queen Hana.

"No need to deny, queen mother. You asked me to put the poison to kill Ernest's daughter!" the physician is still on his charge. That he did to save himself from the king's anger.

"Tell me, what reason do I have that I want to kill my own daughter?" ask the queen mother.

"You're jealous of her beauty!" answer the original physician.

"What a ridiculous reason, I envy the beauty of my own daughter? When I was young, her face was also as pretty as Ernest's so that made me envious of my daughter at this old age of mine?"

"I-I don't know but it was the queen mother who had ordered me to kill Ernest's daughter!" shouted the physician.

"Shut up!" Alena who had been silent, now came forward and stepped closer to the physician.

"Don't Ernest," prevent his mother and brother.

"I'm sick of this drama!" Ernest still stepped forward, he could not stand let alone the queen mother had to get a very vile humiliation even though the queen mother did not deserve such humiliation.

"The queen's mother wants to kill you, Princess. Trust me!" the doctor said as Alena stood before him.

"Look good, you're all here!" alena shouted as she raised her face high.

"I don't mind you being insulted, I don't mind you slandering but I don't accept my mother being slandered like this much less she's the queen of this country and all of you here, so easy to eat the words of a healer who wants to save himself due to the actions he did. I swear, whoever was involved and whoever was the mastermind, I'll kill him and his whole family and make him stray dog food!" yell Alena wrathfully.

"All because of you, Princess!' someone shouted that.

"Yes, it's all because of me. Mother and Father want to establish justice for me so they gather you all here and because of me, Mother must get such a heinous slander from this irresponsible healer!" alena shouted as she pointed towards the physician.

"What I said is very true, Princess!" shouted the physician.

"you said you only listened to the king and queen's orders, didn't you?"

"True, indeed I only take orders from the king and the queen" replied the physician.

"All right, that's true. You only take their orders if," Alena brought her steps closer to the healer and said, "If they're giving you orders, but beyond that?"

"What do you mean, Princess?" the doctor asked not to understand.

"Did the King and Queen give you orders for twenty-four hours? Were you with him for twenty hours and did you really not get orders from anyone else when you didn't get the king and queen's orders?" ask Ernest.

"Are you sure? Are you the palace healer who was so attached that no one else came to see you? What after this would you say if no one met you but Mother and Father only? Do you think we here will believe this word of yours?"

The doctor gulped, damn it. It seems outside the plan. Princess Ernest should have defended her at this moment but the princess just cornered herself. Again the ones there whispered because what Princess Ernest said was very true. Anyone could meet a palace physician other than the king and queen and anyone could talk to him without anyone knowing.

"You've slandered my queen, I'll make sure you die with your whole family!" said king Leon.

"It's not me, your majesty. I didn't put poison!" yelled the doctor again.

"My eyes have seen if you put it and you have admitted it so don't avoid what you did so arrest him!" king Leon's orders.

"What commands me is truly the queen mother!"

"Catch her!" king Leon cried out in wrath.

A few soldiers were approaching, Ernest stepped away to approach his mother and brother. The old physician was very upset that he had failed. A hidden dagger was taken, he only needed to kill Ernest and his queen would save him. He also wanted to do it for revenge.

The healer moved suddenly, running towards Alena with a dagger in hand. King Leon was surprised, as were the others. Some soldiers had even run to prevent the healer from attacking Ernest's daughter but the healer's position was so close to Ernest's.

"Ernest, lookout!" shouted the queen mother.

Alena turned around, the healer was about to attack her using the dagger because the dagger was about to be stabbed into Alena's chest. Quickly, Alena lifted her skirt slightly and jumped up and kicked one leg towards the healer's chest.

The healer was surprised and reflexively swung her dagger so that it hit Alena's leg but Alena's kick landed smoothly on the healer's chest making the old man bounce on the floor.

"Heraz!" Arabella and the queen mother screamed to see Alena get a cut on the leg.

Alena landed smoothly on the floor while holding her injured calf, fresh blood began to flow, of course, it made the king of Leon angry let alone unexpected attacks that occurred just a few seconds so it was difficult to prevent.

The soldiers had already snuggled up the healer, all who saw the incident were holding their breath with both eyes unblinking. A little more, a little more Ernest would be stabbed but Ernest could avoid it.

"Are you okay, Ernest?" the queen seemed to cry as well as Arabella.

"Just a scratch, it's okay" Alena replied.

King Leon who had been silent with both hands clenched increasingly wrathful to see his daughter's wounded legs and bleed. King Leon immediately approached the physician who had been snatched by his soldiers.

"How dare you want to kill my daughter in front of my eyes?" king Leon really held back the rumbling anger inside his chest.

"This is all the queen mother's request!" the physician is still blessed.

"Bring him in, I'll interrogate him slowly!" the king's orders.

"Don't treat me like this, your majesty. I was just told to by someone!" the doctor shouted as he was dragged away.

"I'll hear it later!"

Arabella and the queen mother had brought Ernest to treat the wound on her leg, while the atmosphere became silent but some of them looked at each other with a code delivered. The physician was caught and did a very reckless deed for that reason, they had to know what the queen ordered them after this incident because they were worried that the healer was saying something unimportant while being interrogated by the wrathful king Leon.
