The party was about to start in two days, now it was time to travel for the princesses who were about to attend the party. The news that Prince Lucius was going to find an empress at the party blew away so the princesses from all over the country beautified themselves and flocked to get the best item they would wear at the event party later.
That morning the princess Arabella was getting ready, not only Arabella but all the daughters of the officials who were invited were also getting ready. They are vying to look perfect but no one dares to match the princess Arabella because she is the star of the kingdom of Kent Arsia.
The news that Ernest would not leave was already widespread. The news certainly makes everyone happy because they do not like a witch present at the party. Prince Lucius had already spread the word if he had not invited Ernest so he asked his people not to worry about Ernest's presence. He did not want to say that but he had to make his people calm and the announcement had been heard by many.
All the women were busy but not with Ernest who was sitting leisurely in front of his bedroom window. Only he does nothing. Not busy looking for a dress because everyone knows she's not leaving.
"What did you talk to the prince that night, Princess?" ask Amy.
"Nothing, I just told the prince if I wouldn't be present!"
"Why, Princess? Isn't this a rare opportunity?" said Agnes.
"What a chance, Agnes. I'll never be accepted because the issue is so much better we exist but are invisible."
"What does the princess mean?" ask Amy and Agnes.
"No means anything, I want to see the preparation of Brother Arebella. She'll be gone in a minute" Alena moved on, she had to take her sister away
Arabella was busy when Alena entered the room, her servant was busy preparing the princess's belongings. The waiter Arabella even looked at Alena with a disdainful look because she could not go to the dance. Surely he sneered at Ernest because he had heard that Prince Lucius had not invited Ernest. What a princess nobody wants.
"Is there anything I can help you with, brother?" ask Alena, stale.
"No, Ernest. I've heard the announcement from the Prince, are you okay?" ask Arabella.
"I'm fine, Brother. No need to worry about me."
"Prince Lucius shouldn't have announced that, now everyone's making yourself a joke!"
"Don't think, brother. Prince Lucius must have announced that so that everyone present at the party was calm. He couldn't carelessly make an announcement without a reason!"
"All right, what you said is very true. Though I really want to go with you and enjoy time with you but unfortunately can't!"
"We can go together next time, now you have to enjoy your time in Kenneth's kingdom!"
"Of course, this is my chance so pray for me!" arabella.
"I hope you make it, brother!"
"Thank you, Ernest. I should be a star at the dance later!" Arabella seemed so confident. He was so sure the Prince would ask him to dance that all who saw would envy him.
"The prince will definitely take you dancing, Princess. Everyone will know that you are the princess who will be the queen consort of Prince Lucius" her servant said.
"Hus, don't talk like that!" arabella's face blushed, but she hoped it could happen.
Alena tried to smile, it seemed like she should not get too close to prince Lucius. She knew her brother liked Lucius, lest their relationship be bad just because of a man. He had better keep his distance and better, they didn't meet again and he had to end it all.
Because her sister was busy, Alena chose to return to her room. Alena sat back in front of the window with a sigh, now she was feeling uneasy. It seemed that he really should not get too close to Prince Lucius anymore.
"Ernest" the voice of the queen mother called out to her from outside.
"Yes, Mother" replied Alena. Amy opened the door at the time.
"What are you doing?" ask mother.
"Nothing, Mother. I'm not doing anything."
"What would you talk about?" Alena poured a drink for her mother and gave it to her. He really needs a friend to talk to right now.
"It's not important, Mommy is just worried that you're sad because you didn't go to the party. You're okay, aren't you?"
"I'm fine, Mother. No need to worry," Alena tried to smile, she was fine but it could be an opportunity to talk to her mother.
"Mother is happy to hear it, Mother thinks you're sad because you can't leave."
"No, Mommy. But there is something I want to tell Mother and I hope Mother allows."
"What are you trying to say?" ask mother.
"Mother, tomorrow I'm leaving. Can I?"
"Where are you going, Ernest?" ask mother.
"There's something I want to do, Mother. It won't be long, just for a minute!" said Alena.
"No, you can't go anywhere!"
"Mother, really," Alena approached her mother and whispered in her mother's ear long enough.
"What?" the queen looked a little surprised.
"I'm just for a moment, please Mother allow."
"But it's dangerous for you to go alone" said his mother.
"Nobody will know but me and Mother. I promise to take care of myself as best I can."
The queen mother looked at her daughter, a feeling of pity she felt. Ernest held both of his mother's hands and looked at her with a pitiful look. A heavy breath was exhaled, the queen mother nodded slowly as a sign of her agreeing.
"Thank you, Mother," Alena hugged the queen mother. She was so happy that her mother agreed and let her go.
"Remember, only we know so you have to take good care of yourself. Come out soon, we'll have to take your brother away. Don't let anyone think you're jealous so you won't take her away."
"I'll be out after this, Mother."
"Mother wait outside," said the queen mother who had moved. It was fitting that his daughter did not look sad, it turned out that she already had her own plans.
Alena was still in front of the window as the queen mother walked out of her room. She was there to enjoy the tea that Amy had prepared and also some snacks. In a moment he was going to come out, he wanted to be like that for a moment because there was a lot he was thinking about. Amy and Agnes were surprised to see the princess who was not as usual.
After a long period of pondering, Alena moved on. It was time to go out to take her brother away but at that moment, a message-delivering bird alighted at the window. Alena turned, looked at the bird then hurriedly picked up a letter that was at the bird's feet.
"Who's letter, Princess?" Amy and Agnes had already rushed over to Alena. They even look impatient.
"Why are you so excited?" ask Alena.
"It must have been a letter from Prince Lucius" Amy said.
"Ck, don't guess!" as the scroll opened, Alena looked astonished at the sight of a cross on the letter with the inscription of the Holy Order. Amy and Agnes looked at each other.
"Two days to see me in Westtrink village, Kendrick!" a very short and dense letter but who is Kendrick and what is the Holy Order?
Alena looked at the two maidservants, they both shrugged because they did not know what the princess was related to the Holy Order especially on that fateful night, Ernest didn't tell them he was going to see Kendrick working in the Holy Order like him.
