The court physician, he was the one who had put the poison seen by the spies sent by the queen mother. He saw the healer put something into the medicine he was concocting. Of course the news surprised the queen mother and the king, they both came back to discuss it further let alone the healer had long believed to concoct medicine.
The spy had been ordered to leave, but he again had the task of spying on the healer. The king and queen were already in a room by then, a secret room they used to discuss important matters so that no one would know.
"How, Sire. Do you believe that the one who put the poison is the palace healer that we've believed in for decades?" ask the queen mother.
"Isn't that sure? We ordered the spy to find the culprit so we have to make a scheme to unmask him" said the king.
"I fear that there will be another doer besides the physician, Your Majesty. I'm afraid the healer is conspiring with the others and he might not know that what he's putting in is poison."
"What do you mean by this? Are you suspecting anyone else?"
"I was suspicious of my servant, Sire. He's the one who always makes the medicine for Ernest, so I'm suspicious of him" said the queen.
King Leon seemed to think, what his wife said was very true. It could be that the real culprit is the personal servant of his wife and it could be that the healer and the servant actually conspired. Looks like he really has to make a stratagem to catch the real culprit.
The queen also seemed to think, after knowing the perpetrator was not solving the problem because they were still guessing let alone the possibility of other perpetrators who conspired with the healer.
"Tomorrow, keep making the poison and keep giving it to Ernest!" king's orders.
"What is your Majesty planning?"
"Just do it, tomorrow we'll set up a probe to find out who the real culprit is!"
"Alright, Sire. I'll do as Your Majesty tells me," I don't know what the king's plan is, but the queen knows that the king has a plan to catch the real culprit. After all the king was a wise leader, he would take the right decision especially for his own daughter.
After a discussion, the king and queen walked out of the room. They must listen to the complaints of some people today so they go straight to the throne to become a good leader for their people.
Arabella who invited her sister to drink tea was already in a gazebo on the side of the lake with her sister. Arabella asked her servant to take a hairpin given by Prince Lucius because he wanted to show it to Ernest.
Two glasses of tea were already on the table, with some snacks. The breeze that blows makes the atmosphere feel cool. Amy and Agnes were already not far from Ernest's daughter, they also took a break to relieve fatigue due to training.
"What would you like to talk to me about?" ask Alena.
"I want to show you the gift that Prince Lucius gave me" Arabella said.
"Well, it's worth it brother was so happy. What did Prince Lucius give you?" ask Alena anyway.
"Wait for my servant to return, I'll show you the thing he gave you."
"You're very lucky, brother."
"You're right, do you know? She also invited me to dance later at the dance, "Arabella blushed in embarrassment but she was so happy.
"really?" Alena is also happy, that's very good news.
"What do you think, Ernest? Did prince Lucius put his heart on me?"
"I don't know, Brother. I don't understand in that. But if you look at her attitude and the gifts she gave to her sister and her invitation to the dance, I think she does have a heart for you."
"Do you think so?" arabella's heart was completely filled with flowers. His sister's words really made him happy and judging from his sister's attitude, Ernest did not hold any feelings for Prince Lucius.
"What did you say? Prince Lucius has been back since last night!"
"What's? Really true?" alena did not believe it.
"Do you not know about this, Ernest? Aren't you the year she's gone?" Arabella looked at the suspicious sister. The night Lucius left was the night that Ernest was not in his room. Was there anything hidden by her sister?
"I don't know, really. After all no one told me so how could I know?"
"Well, what you said is very true" Arabella said.
Alena took a sip of her tea, so Lucius was gone? Why didn't Lucius tell her he was leaving? Did Lucius leave so suddenly that no one knew?
At that moment, Arabella's maid returned with the hairpin given by Lucius. Arabella showed her sister the hairpin, she also showed it with a happy expression.
"What do you think? When we had tea, he gave it to me and I didn't expect it, after that he went back to his palace."
"A very nice hairpin, Brother. Turns out he's already prepared this gift for you before he leaves," ernest said, without knowing the hairpin, Lucius wanted to give it to him, but it was not because he did not come to the tea and because Arabella gave him something so Lucius had no choice but to give the hairpin in return.
"you're right, I really didn't expect Ernest. I was really happy when she gave me this gift."
"Congratulations to you, Brother."
"What's? Why give me a survivor like that?" ask Arabella.
"Just say, I hope you're a fool."
"Thank you, my sister. Now let's enjoy the tea," Arabella raised the tea glass, Alena did too. Tea was enjoyed along with snacks, they chatted occasionally, Arabella looked so happy at the time.
After enjoying tea with her sister, Alena decided to return to her room because she wanted to rest. Amy and Agnes follow in Alena's footsteps, which goes so fast.
"So prince Lucius is gone, princess?" ask Amy.
"Yeah..we don't see him anymore, do we?"
"Why didn't he tell you he was coming back, Princess?" ask Agnes.
"For what, Agnes. I'm not important!"
"But he promised to help you, Princess."
"It's just a promise, a word that can be said when it's critical. After all he has no obligation to report to me so don't be exaggerated!"
"Regarding the gift that the prince gave to the princess Arabella," Amy stopped her speech and looked at Agnes.
"There's nothing wrong with the gift, he gave it to the right person. Regarding the souvenirs I bought, give them to someone else or throw them away!" alena's orders speed up her pace.
Amy and Agnes looked at each other, what happened to the princess? Why should the eye he bought be thrown away? Somehow Ernest's daughter ordered it but it was the right decision that Alena did because she did not want Lucius to misunderstand the gift let alone the man had given the gift to her brother and her, and she, you can't do something that could cause misunderstandings.
