The Challenge of Alena

The issue of what happened at the hunting grounds was already blowing heavily in the palace. The issue was blowing so fast like the wind. The people had gathered to greet the king and queen they loved but the hatred for Princess Ernest grew even greater. Surely what spread the news were people who hated Ernest. They spread the issue so that Ernest's daughter was hated more and more.

All looking towards Ernest's daughter's carriage, some of them had malicious intentions. Some of them were already holding some stones and without waiting, the stones were thrown towards Ernest's daughter's carriage.

Alena was shocked, and so were Amy and Agnes. Not only them, the soldiers who stood guard near the tent of Princess Ernest were surprised let alone the many stones that fell around the carriage of Ernest's daughter.

"Who dares to throw stones?!" shouted one of the soldiers.

"What's going on?" alena asked who was looking out but at that moment, a stone was thrown back at her.

"Revelation, Princess!" shouted a soldier. Alena pretended not to see when she could catch the stone or dodge. He did not want to make people more suspicious of him, so Alena did not avoid and did not catch the stone so that the stone that was thrown landed right on his forehead.

Alena shouted, Amy and Agnes were surprised to see that. Fresh blood flowed from the princess' forehead, the two of them looked panicked.

"Daughter, your head!" the two of them panicked overwhelmingly while Alena held onto her forehead and pretended to be in shock.

The soldiers who saw it were furious and because of that the journey was slightly interrupted so that everything came to a halt. The king and queen got out of the chariot while Arabella had already run towards her sister's carriage.

"Who dares to throw stones?!" king Leon was angry.

No one dared to make a sound, the people looked as if nothing had happened. Arabella takes Ernest out of her carriage, she also looks angry that blood is coming out of her brother's injured forehead.

"Who dares to do this heinous deed?!" yelled Arabella angry.

"The princess must not protect the witch!" someone from the crowd shouted like that.

"Right, we've heard it if Princess Ernest has taken a toll on the hunting grounds so the King and Queen as well as princess Arabella must not protect her anymore!" yell at the others.

"Ernest, what do you mean?" king Loen approached his daughter, do not let her daughter talk that could complicate themselves.

"I guarantee it and I'll risk my life to prove to all of you that I'm not the culprit!" Ernest.

"Why do we trust witches like you?"

"Well, why do we trust your word!" others shouted because of the provocation.

"Be quiet, Ernest is trying to prove that he's innocent so shut up!" scream Arabella.

The troops returned to the road, but the palace stayed a little longer but the incident delayed their journey. The people began to disperse. Some of them hoped that the real witch could be caught soon and that Ernest's daughter could prove that she wasn't the culprit, it was a challenge that wasn't easy for Ernest because the traitor was inside the palace.
