The two of them were silent after reading the book even though they had not finished reading. A very strange book, it is not written who wrote down the bad events that happened in the village of Westtrink in the book. The author did not write his name, because the existing writing could be true and could not.
The name Mauren who appears later becomes a big puzzle for them but Alena has a hunch if she wants to find out who the real witch is then she must find out who is actually Princess Mauren. Everything that happened must have something to do, he knew it was a bit absurd and complicated but if it was properly broken down then he would find the common thread.
The existing writing does not corner him but from that writing everyone will hate him especially if he is really a descendant of the witch Lady Lilya. Indeed no one can choose destiny, no one can choose who will give birth to him and if indeed he is the descendant of a witch, no one can choose who will give birth to him, he can't change anything but for sure, this was the challenge she had to go through because even though she was a descendant of Lady Lilya but she was not her witch therefore she had to show everyone and capture the real witch.
The book was closed, he would read it again later as he had to hurry to return to the Palace. Lucius was still standing some distance away, as if he could not believe what was written in the book. Alena moved on, not caring about herself. He knew the prince must have been hit hard because the woman he liked turned out to be the descendant of a witch.
Lucius did not even prevent him from stepping out of the tent. The man was still busy with his own thoughts and the turbulent feeling in his chest.
"Amy, let's go!" bring Alena.
"Is it over, Princess?" ask Amy.
"Let's go, we'll have to get back to the palace!" Alena had already stepped towards her horse bound in a tree.
"What about the Prince?" ask Amy again.
"He's not coming!" answer Alena.
Amy was astonished, and so was Bastian who was about to go inside but Lucius had already walked out of the tent and stepped quickly towards Alena who was preparing to leave. He was very grateful to Lucius who always helped him but he could not force the man to come along especially now that Lucius knew who he was.
"Wait, Ernest!" lucius Pinta.
"I can't wait, I have to go!"
"So you won't wait for me!" Lucius grabbed Alena by the waist and turned her body.
"Take me off, prince. Don't force yourself to be with me!" said Alena.
"What do you mean? Do you think after I read that book I'll change my mind to help you?"
"That's what happened, isn't it?" Alena encouraged Lucius to stay away, "You've shown it with your attitude, even without saying anything so from now on, don't force yourself to help me!" Alena stepped away, to the other side of the horse to check on the preparations.
"No, Ernest. Don't misunderstand me!" Lucius followed in his footsteps. He was surprised and could not believe what had happened but he did not intend to stay away from Ernest.
"There's no reason for me to misunderstand let alone not having any relationship!"
"But why do you look so angry at me?"
"You're holding me back, of course I'm upset!" Alena was about to climb on the horse but Lucius grabbed her waist so that made Alena surprised let alone they almost fell.
"You're just a man from ancient times, what do you want?!" alena shouted release due to emotions.
Lucius is shocked to hear Alena's words, as are Amy and Bastian. Alena shut her mouth tightly, damn it. He was so emotional that he spoke so.
"Ti-Nothing!" Alena came back to the horse. Very dangerous, hopefully no one is suspicious of his words just now.
"Why do you say I'm a man from ancient times?" ask Lucius again.
"That's just the original word, Prince. Please don't block me, I need to get back to Kent Arsia."
"You want to go back there? Do you have a plan?"
"I don't think you need to know!"
"Heraz!" Lucius grabbed Alena by the waist and held her tightly, "I told you, I'll be petrified so I'll definitely help. I was just surprised, after all, what was written in the book was not necessarily true. It could all be fake. I don't know who wrote it, it doesn't have its name. I think what he wrote is not necessarily the truth, especially the author is not necessarily getting accurate news. It could be that Mauren's daughter whom he mentioned was someone else and it's possible that she wrote so because you were being slandered as a witch therefore she concluded that you were Mauren's daughter, the last of Lady Lilya's descendants."
Alena was silent, thinking about the words of prince Lucius that had a point. The old man in the village of Westtrink said that if all the witnesses who knew the witch were gone then how could anyone suddenly say that he knew everything that was happening and that he was a witness the life that survived? I don't know what to believe, it's confusing but he knows what to do.
"All right, I know what you mean. All possibilities could have happened, could have been the person who wrote the book was one of the devotees Lady Lilya. It all feels strange but I'm also sure that what's written in the book is fifty percent true!" said Alena.
"Therefore, we must not just believe what is written in the book let alone the source is not clear. Indeed the Holy Order overshadows those who uphold justice but I believe they only have the duty of giving the box to you without them knowing what it is."
"All right, I gotta keep coming back!" Alena is still with her stance.
"What do you want to do?"
"Find out who Mauren's daughter is!"
"Do you have a clue?" ask Lucius again.
"King and queen, they must know who Mauren's daughter is and if it is true that I am Mauren's daughter and Princess, they must know a lot but have covered her up for that reason, I have to go back to meet them!"
"All right, we're leaving right now. I can't let you go alone because I'm worried that, after you ask King Leon and Queen Hana this, you've been expelled and they've become hostile towards you."
"That can't happen, Prince."
"I know, but just in case. Forgive me for my attitude, Ernest. I'm just surprised with nothing to mean."
"Of course, prince. There's no need to talk about it because there's something more important than that."
"You're right, we're leaving after Bastian has finished dismantling his tent!"
Alena nodded, again she could not prevent Lucius from getting involved. The matter of their relationship was not important because right now the most important thing was to return to the palace because he had to meet with the king and queen. He was very sure, there was no way both of Ernest's parents did not know anything if it was true that she was the daughter of Mauren. Everyone, he knew the king and queen knew this and his decision to return was not wrong.
Alena was busy with her own thoughts while Lucius did not take his eyes off Alena because he was very curious about the words Alena had just said while scolding her. He was sure there was a point behind the words but why did Alena say that he was a man from ancient times? He really wanted to know the meaning of that word.
