Chapter 5. First Meeting

Laura and Charlotte's conversation stopped hearing a commotion from the back of the chair they were sitting in.

They stared at each other questioningly, what happened so that there was a commotion and a crowd of people gathered.

Not long after their questions were answered, the crowd opened up as several men in black wearing sunglasses with serious faces walked out of the crowd surrounding a man who was also in a black suit but looked elegant leisurely walking towards them.

He's the one they were talking about, Prince Albert the Crown Prince of this kingdom.

"Ara is just my feeling or is it real that Albert is walking towards us ?" Whisper Charlotte, approaching Laura whispered in her ear.

Laura rolled both her eyes, caught off guard with the attitude of her best friend seeing the presence of Prince Albert here.

"Charlotte, you can't be ordinary." Laura rebuked her best friend.

"Dear, you're the only single woman in the country who behaves normally when you see her." Charlotte excitedly pointed at Prince Albert with her eyes.

Laura simply refurbished her sitting position without commenting on Charlotte's words.

The Rector, Dean and professors warmly welcomed Prince Albert's arrival at the place and of course full of questions in their heads why Prince Albert who was not invited could not be expected to come.

"Welcome Prince Albert, we did not expect your presence here." The president greeted with a friendly smile.

"I'm sorry if my presence here surprises you." Albert smiled at me.

"We were honestly surprised." Rector.

"I came here because I wanted to see my future wife at graduation today."

Those who heard were shocked looked at each other. "Wife candidate ?" The rector made a sound after coming out of his shock.

"Yes my future wife." Albert's son repeats.

"If you may know what his name is ?" The director asked curiously.

"Laura Clarissa George." Answer Prince Albert.

Hearing the name mentioned everyone who was near Prince Albert reflexively turned to the part of the student chair that will be at graduation. Their eyes were busy looking for Laura's whereabouts and found her talking to a friend beside her chair.

"Laura Clarissa George is that ?" Back the Rector asked uncertainly while pointing at the person in question.

Prince Albert followed the direction of the rector's index finger, seeing the woman who was cool to tell him without being affected by his presence unlike other women in that place made him curious.

"Is there really more than one name on this campus ?" Prince Albert asked without taking his gaze away from Laura.

"Eh ! No, your majesty is just him." The Rector was aware of his words that sounded like a confused person.

Prince Albert glanced at the Rector who made him look stupid.

"What time does the show start ? Can I talk to my future wife for a minute ?"

"It could of course be your honor, we also have to provide guest seats for those of you who attended the graduation event this morning."

Without replying to the Rector's words, Prince Albert walked to the prospective graduate seat and stopped right in front of Laura's seat.

"Laura Clarissa George." Call Prince Albert.

Laura looked up at Prince Albert who was standing right in front of her while Charlotte pressed her lips with her palm holding a happy hysterical that almost popped out of her mouth.

Meanwhile, Laura's parents who were present accompanied restlessly saw Laura's first meeting with Prince Albert from the escort seat.

Laura rose from her seat, standing right in front of Prince Albert who turned out to be the height of Laura only reached the chin Prince Albert makes Laura forced to look up.

Prince Albert raised his next forehead not expecting Laura's reaction at their first meeting.

"I just want to see my future wife at her graduation, can't I ?" Prince smiles.

Your smile really looks too far-fetched, making me sick of seeing it. My cheer this morning was broken because of your presence. Can't I be free to enjoy my last days before being bound to you.

"Aren't you supposed to tell the general public about our marriage before our engagement day ?" Laura said in an accusatory tone of dislike.

"I don't think it's a problem, it's the same because they're going to find out, too." Prince Albert said in a light tone.

"So I go to the toilet first, your majesty I'm sorry." Charlotte said she felt her presence interfered with Laura and Prince Albert's conversation.

"Ara yes ?" Prince Albert said slowly.

"That's my closest friend's call, your majesty doesn't have to pay attention to it." Laura immediately replied, not liking the name out of Prince Albert's mouth.

"Am I not going to be the closest person to you ?" Albert's role model is increasingly interested in hearing and seeing Laura's behavior that keeps her distance.

"Excuse me, your majesty, but you haven't and probably won't even if we're married." Laura spoke out loud.

"Ha ha ha !" Prince Albert reflexively laughed loudly at Laura's words.

"An attractive woman." Prince Albert murmured while staring at Laura from top to bottom.

Laura simply threw a breathless face at the intense gaze by Prince Albert.

"Your Majesty, please step up to the podium. Your seat is over there, the show's about to start." The Rector suddenly interrupted their conversation.

"We'll meet again after the show's over." Prince Albert said before turning away to follow the Rector who showed him his seat.

"Huuff..... ."Laura took a long breath. "Just met I'm sick of seeing it. Oh my God how will my fate be after marriage." Laura muttered while dropping down on her chair.

Not long after that the show was started at a guide by the host. The event began with a welcome from the Rector, and other events came to the installation of graduation toga. Students are called one by one to climb to the top of the podium starting from the best student, Laura Clarissa George.

A happy smile mounted on Laura's pretty face as soon as she called and walked up to the podium.

Pride and happiness felt by Mama and Papa saw Laura who walked confidently up the podium.

Prince Albert just sat quietly looking from his chair. It turns out that she is not only beautiful but has a smart brain. In the heart of Prince Albert was forced to admit.

When it was time for Laura to come forward to speak on behalf of the students, Prince Albert was forced to admit the advantages of Laura.

After all the sessions at the morning toga installation event by noon that day.

Graduates take pictures with family or relatives to remember the day.

Mama and Papa after taking a picture with Laura walked up to Prince Albert who was still sitting in his chair observing in silence the graduates including Laura.

"How are you doing, Albert ? I didn't expect you to be here." Papa greeted Prince Albert politely.

"My news is good Mr. Edward." Reply Prince Albert. "Isn't it natural that I as her future husband come here ?" ask Prince Albert.

"You are right, your majesty." Papa said he was agreeable, uncomfortable with the awkward situation that was going on between them.

"How are you, Mrs George ? this is the first time we've met." Prince Albert smiled turning his gaze to Mama who was standing beside Papa.

"Good news, thank you." Reply Mama a little stiff.
