Chapter 29. Departure Day

After dinner all the members of the George family gathered in the living room.

Papa stared with a serious face towards Laura, Laura glanced at Papa from the television screen already guessing what Papa would say to her.

"Fine." Call Papa slow, call him to attention.

Laura turned. "Yes Papa."

"Can you explain what Prince Albert said this morning ? Papa doesn't quite understand." The word Papa leads to explanation.

Laura looked towards Mama. "Mama hasn't explained to Papa ?" Laura asked back.

"Your mama told me about it but Papa wants to hear it straight from your mouth." Papa made a sound before Mama answered.

Laura let out a long sigh then looked at Bella, Mama and Papa who were staring back at her waiting for an explanation from Laura.

"What happened I told Mama everything, there's nothing to hide." Laura Reveal.

"When did you find out that Prince Albert already had a girlfriend ?" ask Papa.

Laura frowned at Papa's question. "Don't everyone in this country know it ?" Laura asked in wonder.

"What do you mean Ara ? Papa's confused."

"Didn't many appear on the news either on the television screen or on social media news Prince Albert is often found with a woman ? even changing women at every event - the event she goes to." Obviously Laura.

"It's just news made by the media to find a sensation to attract the attention of the public." Papa says he's defending Prince Albert.

"That's what Papa said, Ara. Prince Albert won't act like a playboy." Bella speaks out in defense of Prince Albert.

"Then what is his explanation about the woman he brought to the show? then who was the woman who came to me yesterday claiming to be her lover ?" Laura began to raise her tone, ignited by her emotions, hearing her own family stand up for Prince Albert.

"Prince Albert certainly only considers them as friends and respects them so invite them to accompany him at events that he must attend." Papa explained, as if he knew very well the situation of Prince Albert.

"And it's possible that the woman who came to you misinterpreted the intentions of Prince Albert being nice to her." Bella is back.

"It doesn't need to be discussed any further." Mama cut off the conversation, Laura who had opened her mouth to protest said something was forced to close her mouth.

She looked at Laura. "So what about the bruises on your face ? what did the doctor say ?" Mom asked to change the subject.

"The doctor said it was not serious, the doctor also gave drinking medicine and ointment that should be applied to the bruised skin." Obviously Laura.

"So what about your plans to travel to Spain ?" Mama asked back. "Does it keep going ?" Keep Mama back.

"As per mama's initial plan, we will still leave even though I have advised Prince Albert to leave even without me but Prince Albert refused firmly."

"Hmmm." Mama muttered hearing an explanation from Laura while Papa and Bella could only nod in understanding.

"Hopefully the bruises on your face can go away before you leave." Mama said expectantly.

The day of their departure had arrived, that morning Laura was getting ready.

I heard knocking on the door from outside his room.

"Lock !" Laura from the inside.

The door opened, the waiter behind the door.

"Miss Laura your invitation has arrived." Waiter informs.

"Alright, tell them I'll be right down." Laura said as she got up from her dresser chair.

The waiter understood. "None right." The waiter said before turning away.

Laura circulated a glance around her room, checking if anything had been forgotten and walking towards the door after being sure nothing had escaped.

In the front room had been waiting for Papa and Mama as well a man wearing a white shirt and a black suit was standing right beside Edward.

"Miss Laura, I'm on duty to pick you up and drop you off at the airport." The man immediately explained the intention of his arrival before Laura had time to ask.

"Prince Albert is waiting for you at the airport." Again, explain the situation.

Laura nodded in understanding. "All right." Laura said, following Prince Albert's plan.

"Edward will come with me, won't he ?" laura asked the man in black while glancing at Edward.

"That means Edward can come with me." Laura made a conclusion.

"But-"

"I'll explain to Prince Albert, you take it easy." Laura cut the man's words.

Laura looked at Edward. "Your stuff have you prepared ?"

Edward nodded. "Already Miss Laura, just in case I need to come along." Answer Edward.

"Good." Praise Laura then turned to the man in black. "We're leaving now ?"

"Yes Miss Laura."

"Be careful while on Ara's journey, let Mama know if you've arrived." Mom's Message.

"Well Mama, I'll let you know when it's over."

Mom and Dad took Laura to the door. The driver swiftly opened the passenger car door for Laura to enter first which was followed later Edward while the man in black sat in the front seat next to the driver's seat.

The car moved, Laura waved at the two people who waved their hands back.

"Hopefully nothing bad happened with Ara's departure this time Papa." Mama said in an anxious tone full of worry as soon as the car that Laura was riding in was no longer visible.

"Mom don't worry so much." Papa Tegur.

"Our father went with Prince Albert, and Edward was also with him to look after him." Added Papa.

Mama agreed."Maybe it's true that Papa said, Mama might be too much."

"Better we go inside, this morning the weather is a little windy later Mama catch wind because only wear thin clothes." Said Papa attentively while inviting Mama inside.

Arriving at the airport, Laura's car stopped not far from a 10-seat private jet.

"Your Majesty is waiting for you on the plane." The man in black clothes told, Laura just nodded in understanding.

Edward got off first and then helped Laura to get out of the car.

Laura stepped up the stairs after Edward from behind, as soon as she entered it appeared Prince Albert who had been sitting on one of the chairs next to the window turned to him as soon as he realized the arrival of Laura.

Prince Albert's forehead shriveled as soon as he realized Edward's presence behind Laura.

"Why is he with you ?" asked the Prince in a displeased tone staring at Edward.

"I asked him to come with me anyway there was no order from His Majesty forbidding Edward to come with me." Answer Laura.

"Isn't Edward my personal bodyguard ? so wouldn't it be natural for him to go wherever I go ?" added Laura before Prince Albert returned to voice.

Prince Albert breathed a long breath. "As far as you are." Prince Albert said indifferently.

"Thank you Your Majesty." Laura smiled broadly.
