The Love of a Prince

The Love of a Prince
Chapters 30. The Road to Spain

After landing at Barcelona-El Prat International Airport, several black cars were lined up waiting for their arrival.

They descended slowly down the steps of the plane, the guards swiftly escorting them into the car. The bodyguards who were with them were not many but the bodyguards who were waiting for their arrival at the airport were twice the number who were with them.

The door of the plane opened, they descended towards the parked car with tight control from the bodyguards.

"May I ask Your Majesty ?" Laura asked as soon as they had sat in the car.

Prince Albert looked at Laura. "What do you want to ask ?"

"Why should Your Majesty bring so many bodyguards ?"

"Why ? You feel uncomfortable ?" Prince Albert asked.

"If you want to be honest, yes, I'm a bit of a cozy reef." Laura replied with a wry smile.

"You will get used to it later, this is also for our safety. We are now in another country and we will not know of such danger as could have come to us while we were here therefore a strict escort even if we did." Obviously Prince Albert was countered with a nod of understanding by Laura, the rest of their journey was done in silence. Every now and then Laura turns to the car window if folding the scenery outside that attracts her attention while Prince Albert chooses to be busy with the Tablet in his hold.

The speed of the car slowed down when it was about to enter the gate of a fence with luxurious carvings in classic European style. Laura's attention was drawn to the luxurious building before her as soon as they got out of the car.

"Where are we Your Majesty ?" Laura could not hide her curiosity.

"This is one of the villas that the working family has." Prince Albert replied briefly.

Laura nodded in understanding hearing Prince Albert's words.

Why am I so stupid, it occurred to me that we would stay in a hotel for a while here ? Laura grumbled inwardly cursing her own stupidity.

He is a member of the royal family, as long as he is still in continental Europe it is impossible that he will stay at the hotel while abroad. Laura again spoke inwardly as she glanced towards Prince Albert.

"You still want to stand there ?" prince Albert looked back at Laura.

"A !! Sorry." Laura came to her senses, realizing Prince Albert was a few steps away.

"You daydream, what are you daydreaming about ?" Back Prince Albert asked once Laura had been on equal footing with him.

"It's not something that matters, Your Majesty." Laura smiled awkwardly.

The guards opened the door for them to enter. As Laura alleged, this building is a classic European feel, once entered they were immediately welcomed by several uniformed servants.

"Bring Miss Laura to her room." Prince Albert's orders to the maid.

"Your Majesty." Reply obediently to one of the maidservants who then turned to Laura with a friendly smiling face.

"Please come with me Miss Laura, I'll show you your room." Add the waiter.

"Yes, thank you." Laura said and followed the female servant from behind.

They walked through several rooms before ascending to the second floor and stopping in front of the second door of several doors on the second floor of the villa.

"This is your room, Miss Laura." Said the waiter as he opened the door allowing Laura to enter.

"Thank you." Laura replied as she stepped into the room.

"We have arranged your stuff in the closet and dresser." Waiter informs.

Laura just nodded in understanding. "Is there anything else you need ?" The waiter said.

"For now there is not."

"You can call me if there's anything you need. Then excuse me, please rest." Waiter waiter before leaving.

Laura stepped onto the bed then laid her body there, releasing the fatigue and fatigue she felt during the flight.

A knock on the door woke Laura from her sleep.

"Lock !" Laura cried as she sat up from her sleep.

The door opened, and a servant appeared from behind the door.

"Sorry to bother you Miss but soon after dinner, I've come to deliver bath water to Miss Laura."

Laura looked at the window. "It turns out it's dark, what time is it ?"

"It's eighteen past ten." Answer waiter.

"It turns out I slept a long time too."

"Is there anything you need before I prepare the bath water for you Miss Laura ?"

"Nothing, you can do your job."

"None right."

The waiter stepped towards the door at the end of the room, which Laura thought was the bathroom door because Laura had not checked the state of the entire room she occupied.

Not long after the waiter appeared from behind the door. "Your bathing water has I prepared Miss Laura."

"Thank you."

"Together Miss Laura, is there anything else you need ?" Ask Waiter.

"Nothing."

"Alright then excuse Miss Laura."

Laura got off the bed as soon as the maid came out, stepping towards the bathroom door.

Thirty minutes later Laura came out of her room.

"I don't know where the dining room is, I should have told the waiter to come back." Laura muttered as she stepped down the stairs.

"Miss Laura." Edward's voice came from the side.

Laura turned her head following the direction the voice appeared, Edward stepped closer to her.

"It's good that you appear Edward." Laura's voice sounded relieved in Edward's ears.

"What's wrong Miss Laura ?" Edward asked as he stopped in front of Laura.

"I was called to dinner by His Majesty but I don't know where the dining room is yet."

Edward nodded in understanding. "Let me take Miss."

"Thank you Edward."

Laura followed Edward towards the dining room, saying that she could hear the voices of men and women talking in a spoiled giggle from the woman in front of them.

As soon as entering the dining room, Laura saw Prince Albert, who had been accompanied by a beautiful woman, sitting at the table waiting for their presence.

"Sorry to keep you waiting for Your Majesty." Laura made a sound as soon as they had realized her presence.

"It's okay, we haven't waited long either." Reply Prince Albert.

Laura stepped closer to the dining table and smilingly nodded towards the foreign woman before sitting on the chair that was on the other side beside Prince Albert right in front of the foreign woman.
