"You've been outside Miss Laura for too long, you better get into her fear Your Majesty is looking for you."
"I was supposed to go inside because I've been here for a long time but if the reason Prince Albert was looking for me seems impossible." Laura snorted violently while getting up from her sitting.
"I'm in the car waiting for you to get out." Edward stood up too.
"It's okay."
Edward waited for Laura to enter first before moving towards the parked car outside.
Once inside, Laura immediately saw Prince Albert walking towards her.
"Where have you been Ara ? why did I just see you ?" Prince Albert asked in an unhappy tone.
"I'm from His Majesty's garden, breathing the fresh air of the night."
"You're here to be escorted by Edward ?" Prince Albert asked again.
"Yes, Your Majesty."
"Good."
"What's the matter Your Majesty ?" Laura asked curiously.
"I have to drive Elenna home, she's drunk and can't drive herself. You just go home with Edward."
Laura put on a flat face hearing Prince Albert's words.
"Your Majesty." Laura said, as usual, obediently unable to fight back.
"Come home now, I'll have to drop Elenna off now, too."
"Your Majesty."
Prince Albert immediately turned away before Laura's words were finished.
The status of Prince Albert's fiancee is only in name. Not to grieve Laura and do not mind, from the beginning you know who he really is.
In his heart he said as he looked at Prince Albert's back which had drifted away and disappeared from his sight.
"You alone ?" Edward asked as soon as he saw Laura who was already standing next to the parked car.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Your Majesty didn't come home with you ?"
"No Edward, he's got to drive home Princess Elenna who's drunk."
Edward's forehead shriveled at Laura's words. "Why should Prince Albert take her ? Aren't there a lot of Prince Eric's bodyguards who can escort his cousin ?"
"I am also ignorant and lazy to ask Prince Albert that question." Laura's comment was flat.
"So we go home now Miss?"
"Yes, we better go home now."
On the way home, Laura was silent while staring at the view through the car window.
Edward could only keep quiet while occasionally looking at Laura's reflection from the rearview mirror in front of him. Not knowing what Laura was feeling or thinking because the facial expression she was showing was very flat.
The car stopped right in front of the entrance, not long after the waiter opened the door for Laura.
Edward got off first and opened the car door for Laura.
"Thank you Edward." Laura did not forget to thank me.
"Together Miss Laura." Reply Edward.
Laura stepped up the stairs towards the entrance that had been waiting for the two maids there.
"Is there anything you need Miss Laura ?" ask one of the waiters as soon as Laura comes in.
"Well then we won't bother you anymore. If you have anything you need, call us immediately." Said the other waiter with a friendly smile.
"Okay, thank you." Reply Laura friendly.
With uninspired steps Laura walked towards her bedroom, arriving inside Laura's room straight towards the walking closet room to replace the dress she wore with a nightgown.
Laura went under the blanket getting ready to sleep, suddenly there was a knock on the door from outside.
Tok tok tok tok
"Lock !" Reply Laura exclaimed, sitting leaning against the bed.
The door opened, Edward emerged from behind the door holding something in his hand.
"What's Edward ?" asked Laura curiously.
"Didn't you say at Prince Eric's banquet you wanted to eat a fruit salad ?" Edward was still standing at the door.
"Yes it's right." Answer Laura
"Is that fruit salad you brought ?" Laura continued, wondering.
"Yes, I promised you I'd make you a fruit salad."
Laura moved out from under the blanket, getting out of bed.
"You remember that ? come in. Edward don't just stand there." Call Laura, step towards the sofa in the middle of the room.
"You should eat something Miss Laura." Edward said as he stepped inside towards the sofa where Laura had sat first.
"You haven't eaten anything tonight other than the mocktail you had on the show." Add Edward while putting a plate containing fruit salad on the table.
"Thank you Edward, you care about me a lot." Laura's soft smile, touched by Edward's concern for her.
It is my job to take care of you
"My own betrothed never treated me as well as you even though I didn't expect anything from her."
"Are you hurt by Prince Albert's treatment of you ?" Edward asked curiously while sitting on the sofa that was in front of Laura.
Laura was silent for a moment before answering Edward's question. "Let's not Edward but after I think it's not the heartache I feel because I don't love Prince Albert."
"Then why do you look unhappy ?"
"I just feel like a person who is not considered and ignored, the feelings of people who are considered unimportant." Laura was grim.
"And in the future it will definitely go on like this because there is no love between us and there can never be." Added Laura.
"Have you ever thought of loving Prince Albert ?"
Laura firmly shook her head. "No way, I can't possibly love a man with a nature like Prince Albert."
Edward involuntarily smiled wryly. "Why are you smiling at my words Edward ?"
"It's okay, it's not important Miss Laura. You better eat your fruit salad soon, it's almost late at night. It's not good for you to sleep late." Edward switched the conversation.
Laura then ate her fruit salad without feeling anything strange about Edward's attitude towards her.
Edward silently watched and accompanied Laura to finish her meal.
"Thank you Edward, the fruit salad you made is so good." Laura handed me the plate that was empty.
"The food I make is normal, probably because you're too hungry to say that." Edward smiled gently, taking the empty plate.
"Sleep, Miss Laura, you need enough rest because tomorrow we're going back to Norway."
Laura woke up from her sitting. "Hopefully, I don't live here anymore. May Prince Albert not delay our return because he is busy alone with Princess Elenna."
Edward stood up too. "Hopefully it is like that."
